Hasn't been found for a whole year! Obviously isn't there and CO is not active.
Called in on this one. But DNF.....Maybe the big Billy Goat Gruff got the better of the troll....well that is how the story goes!!
Same problem as last few logs. Not found . If under bridge may have been washed away as looks like water has been up this high
Had a good look around but couldn't find it. Water looks like it's been quite high recently.
Fortunately no troll, but log book is getting very damp.

TFTC. Hopefully the hint to the final cache will make sense later. Beware the dog walking muggles!
2nd visit and an easy find. Don't know what I was thinking of last time. Thanks. 24th in the August challenge.
Nice to find this one. I had started on the series some time ago, but got distracted..... TFTC
Out and about on a Saturday geocaching run, and we stumbled across this one (yeah right!).
Cache find reasonably straightforward, cache pretty damp but usable and the clue for the RIP puzzle was able to be harvested. Log signed, cache re-hidden safely, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

9.30am. Got muggled by a lady with a pram, but I don't think she took any notice of what I was doing. Nice easy find.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Easily found by title. Log book totally soaked, so had trouble signing. Out - measuring spoons, in thimble.
Located without too much difficulty. Did have difficulty adding our names because log papers very wet. Needs a complete dryout. I will send message to that effect to the owner. Found with becab. TFTC.
Muddy and wet, needs maintenance.

Sunday morning, drizzling, standing in stream trying to dry out cache, looking as dodgy as when I was muggled by a passing walker asking if I was taking soil samples Fortunately he was a geocacher that hadn't been active for a few years. Phew! Cache was full of mud and log book saturated. RIP clue now in pieces. Did my best to dry out but needs maintenance. Pretty spot TFTC
Easy found by jr taybee bag was full of Water log book was very wet jest sign the log book Dry out bag TCTF
will have to comeback again to get hint for the other cache.

Got down and dirty retrieving this one. Transferred log sheet to a ziplock bag to keep it from getting wetter.
Fast find by Mr Orsome4some on a quick trip to fetch something from Whitby this morning.
Found the cache bag full of water this morning, log sheet was clammy, so might need a maintenance visit, very busy area,TFTC
Found after a bit of searching. Recent rain seems outed it a bit, which I thought was rubbish to begin with.
Placed back where I figure it should be.

A quick find down another path I never knew existed. And another clue toward the RIP prize. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found with paua rangers. We knew before we arrived at gz where it was likely to be but we nearly missed it as it looked unlikely to be it. Needed the antihistamine afterwards as the vegetation left me itchy and also a splinter. Tftc and another clue to ponder.
A little trip out with Marton Merekatz to bag some of our closest caches. Made it much harder than it should have been - cache was well camoflaged with mud! TFTC
Nice day to go caching, very busy area, good thing about having two young kids, we don't get too many funny looks from muggles. TFTC
A straightforward find, although once again the log was a sodden mess, so we used our own sheet of paper. At least we could read the clue in this one. TFTC
Took a bit of rooting around to find this one, but got there in the end. Grabbed the clue as well. Bad news is that the cache is completely soaked- Logbook and other paperwork very wet and difficult to use. Needs some maintenance if possible. Thanks for the cache.
It could only be in one place, so quick find for StreetWalker. Nice to see so many walkways in and around Whitby.

TFTC,
Find #476. Our penultimate find for the day, after driving a circuit around from the Tawa to the Hutt Valley then across Moonshine Road before coming out in Pauatahanui. It was getting darker and colder by this point - and we still had to go to Bunnings to pick up a soldering iron! Not much muggle activity at GZ, which is always a definite plus, this led to a really quick find once we were on the right side of the bridge (we immediately associated "troll" with the object at GZ!). SL TFTC.
Nice quick find, and a good spot for a cache. Had to wait for the coast to clear, but found quickly, so no big problem.

An extra hour this morning so I thought I'd make good use of the time! Quick find, and another clue. TFTC
A quick find, but of course forgot to get the clue!! Remembered some time later. Oh well, will just have to come back when the time comes. TFTC
A quick find with ArewhanaNZ at 3.55pm during an afternoon spent caching in Whitby. TFTC
This was the second cache in this series and was a far quicker one to find as it could only be in one spot, managed to find, sign and replace it back into it hiding spot without encountering any trolls. Need to be careful when looking for this one as it is very close to muggles homes, but it is on a very nice walkway.

A quick find on an early morning stroll. My third find out of five on this series, pretty sure I'ved cracked the answer for RIP using the clues gathered so far. TNLN SL TFTC
I had to be very careful at GZ to keep low and out of sight of the neighbour muggles. TFTC.
2nd find for the afternoon after a pleasant stroll along the path. Nice and easy one. TFTC
Dropped off TB Mega Scotland to check out Whitby for awhile. (Found with Kiwileo)

A nice easy find. By the look of the footprints, I wasn't the first to get muddy boots.
Swapped a few TBs with KingSportS.

Found Spider-bite with cache in hand. So we swapped TBs and discovered some as well.
Made a special trip to get this cache as a precursor to finding RIP. A quick find in a pleasant spot. Signed log, TFTC!
#1956. Quick walk to GZ ... seemed to be a popular walkway.

Whoopee!!!!! a FTF. A joint FTF with -gonefishing- and LeftyNZ. This was the second cache in this series and was a far quicker one to find as it could only be in one spot, managed to find, sign and replace it back into it hiding spot without encountering any trolls. Need to be careful when looking for this one as it is very close to muggles homes, but it is on a very nice walkway. Decided to bring Tane Ruru "The Geocaching Morepork", he really loves bush areas, thanks for bringing us here, interesting hiding spot. TFTC TNLNSL (2585) FTF CRAZE Yeetrees also came out to visit this one as well.

#597. Joint FTF, yay! It's funny how different caching at night can be. Spotting tracks during the day is a breeze, but a different kettle of fish at night. Yeetrees identifed the start of the track here, and we were away laughing (albeit quietly so as not to wake the neighbourhood). A quick find at GZ on yet another track I didn't know existed. TNLNSL, TFTC.
FTF [:D} jointly with LeftyNZ and Yeetrees. We spotted a track and headed up it, only to realise it was the wrong track. After another quick scout around, yeetrees started heading along a path - I was convinced it was a driveway, but it turns out he was right! A nice quick find once we got to GZ.
