As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Pretty sure I was looking in the right spot. Gz was right on the leader lookers. Unless it is deeper than I cared to put my hand in the mud that is there after last nights rain! Poked aroundmwith a stick too, looks like others have recently been doing the same.

20-Mar-12
Will revise the cache container to prevent muggling....

This was a fun little sculpture Cool in a deserted park (when we were there) this morning [^].

The park was an unexpected find in suburbia, glad I had a reason to come here else I would never have stopped.

After a moments hesitation I went 'fishing' blindly for the cache and came up with the goods.

Cache stash area was soaking wet although the log seemed ok. May be worth going with the magnet idea and reconsider the difficulty.

A quick find early on a Sunday morning.

Nice hide although a magnet would make it unmuggable.

Yay it's finally back! Take the geo kids to this play ground all the time and it's finally back. Went for the geocoin but alas not there. Took Smile badge and left heart badge

Thanks you, Cooper & Co. Nice hide. Ants know where to hide their valuables.

By the way, a little advice for fellow mates: try to find it in a sunny day, it will be easier!

24-Sep-11
Cache has been replaced... sorry everyone for the looooong delay on this one!

24-Sep-11
Yay first in new log. It's definitely here! Geo kids were very useful as a distraction in this high muggle area.

19-Jul-11
Rode around in this area today while out chasing a ftf to no avail. didn't realize this was offline and fosicked around needlessly.
Will be back.

Went ther etoday and found the location but didn't realise that the cache was unavailiable and of course wasn't there.

Actually didn't find the cache container just various remnants of a log book drifting around the garden area..

Collected all that I could find and rehid (PM'd cache owner with exact location)

Very neat sculpture...

We strolled past this one the day prior on our way to the peace garden, but the park was chock-a-block with families enjoying the day off and the lovely weather. Visiting the next day had us find a completely empty park. TNLN, signed log.

Thanks for the cache.

Pleasant morning meeting with Flipper & Co to talk pathtags, followed by a few hours geocaching with wessarah. Ants have been mentioned in a few caches visited today, we also had to avoid bees elsewhere, so the threat of BIG ants was a worry... the biggest I've seen or ever want to see again. TFTC

Quick find whilst in the area, TFTC

Wow, what cool ants, they would make great props for our Antsy Hill cache ( see http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=a60672a2-5fc5-4b10-9876-9657419b5914) Smile.
Luckily no pesky mini muggles around in the middle of the day for 2 reasons: 1- so we could find the cache, and 2- so we could have a go on that great play equipment. Boy it is funny how you can spin for ages on this type of equipment as a kid but the world spins madly when you have a short go as an old fogey.

Wow Big Grin
Friends used to live in Reynell St. and we often noted the short dead-end street when we left their house. Never realised it led to such a beautiful little park, although I do suspect from the playground it has been done up since they moved.
Taking a different route home found I was very closeby, so stopped for the cache, and it was a wonderful little break. Found I didn't have the coordinates loaded in the GPSr and guessed where GZ should be. Entering the coordinates in just confirmed it. A nice quick find, and then retired to the handy seat to log and just enjoy the sunshine and peace with no one around. A lovely short break.
TNLN, Thanks for bringing me here, and TFTC Cooper & Co

CheersCool

Find 1160
Found BFE Style Without a GPS in the only place I looked.
The park looks in much better condition than when I last saw it over 30 years ago.
Originally Reynell Street bisected the park.
I was a student at the nearby Croydon High School and also played lacrosse on the oval for West Torrens after my school days.
Reynell Street was named after John Reynell who established the vineyards at Reynella.
Thanks to Cooper & Co for the cache and the memories.

This cache reminds me of the song our daughter sings all the time after watching Madagascar 2 "I'm a fish out of water lying out in the jungle. I leave my Peoples, my peoples, take me to my peoples".
Anyway, these were indeed giant bullants and we were very careful not to disturb them too much whilst retrieving the cache.
Btw did not see any travel bugs or geocoins!?

Arrived with EsromL to find Knipper Mum, Son and Daughter logging this cache at about 3.55PM. Second time we have met at a cache today! Looks like this one has been averaging a find less than about every 10 minutes or so since it was published this afternoon. Great little park and sculptures. Thanks Cooper & Co for the cache.
