Puzzle is no longer solvable without a significant upgrade to the cache page. Time for this one to go, the cache container has been removed.
I scored some cheap flights to Wellington for the weekend! I had a great time exploring and finding caches!! The final took longer than it should have... TFTC!
Had this solved for the trip to mega but never got around to getting it. Enjoying the caches
Solved some time ago, I visited this location tonight and after looking around for a couple of minutes I finally spotted the cache. All safe here. TFTC.
A fun little puzzle which wasn't too difficult. It took us longer than it should have to spot this cache, in a very busy area, then a considerable time to open it, fortunately finding a small implement nearby to assist. TFTC
Down for the MEGA in Upper Hutt, Wellington, with NZTravellers, caching around the area.
Logs individually signed as "stik-a-crane" or "SAC" if space/time was short .
Time for the official photo celebrating the MEGA..
..thought the events were well managed considering a good sized turn out to the MEGA.
Thanks to all the CO"s for maintaining their caches ready for the onslaught...…

Day two of our MEGA wellington adventure! The weekend was great and the Wellington caching community did a fantastic job of hosting the event and maintaining some great caches and the weather was perfect for caching! We started in Johnsonville and ended the day in Upper Hutt and the back and beyond caching to all hours of the night.
This was a must do as I solved this one with HeMaludys - they did the hard part and I "converted the try"if you will! definitely a team effort on a nicely constructed cache. Fav from me TFTC!

An extremely difficult but satisfying solve but the hide wasn’t nearly as daunting, which was a relief. tftpc
Well what a great start to te weekend with a truck tipping over on the main motor way and having to detour through Masterton way instead and only just making the Fish and Chip event last night what a great turnout, we were also lucky to of gotten two traditionals while there, then it was time to head off and set up for the night at the Mega event site, but as we got there late there was no parking anywhere for us to park up our caravan and car so we socialized for a couple of hours until we could park up for the labour weekend. Then it was a few hours sleep and then time to get up and attend the Mega event and what a great crowd lining up outside the door at 9am grabbing there bags with lots of goodies coins etc, we purchased some great items from the store there while we waited for the waves to wairapa race to start. so did the wairapa first we teamed up with Rattle geocachers and we came second a great effect done by all. Thank you for putting this puzzle here its helping us gain the 11 different types in one day. It was great having a puzzle cache so close to theMega event we worked this puzzle out a few weeks ago. Thank you for te puzzle.
With a bit of work solved this through geek skills rather than naval Took a couple of trips to find cache, and Denomynator ended up putting her hand on it — but she’ll solve before logging. Thanks for a fun puzzle agcnz!
Solved ages ago and finally picked up today in company of CO who was keen to check it out An interesting and different type of puzzle I had trouble with my reading skills on this one! TFTC
Solved this one a while ago, very clever puzzle. Out today doing the WENZ lab caches and managed to stop by and pick it up. Was worried at first that maintenance in the area had disturbed it but found after a short search. FP added, TFTC.
WENZ is New Zealand's 5th Mega Event ever and for months I have been anticipating in attending it. It is the first Mega Event that I have ever attended and sadly I could only come for one day, so early on Saturday morning my father and I got in the car and drove our way towards Upper Hutt for a hectic day of geocaching. In the end it was a spectacular day where we managed to found 67 geocaches somehow throughout the whole day, see a lot of new faces, catch up with friends and just have an altogether amazing time.
We had been given our briefing for the Waves to Wairarapa at the Cosmopolitan Club so we were now off to go find the answers, but I wanted to give this geocache a try since I loved the puzzle so much, so we did a small detour so I could attempt to pick it up.
The puzzle wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be, I started to see a pattern and just used that to help me figure out the rest of the numbers and letters. From the numbers and letters that were given to me, I knew how they were going to be used from previous puzzle geocaches that I had done in the Wairarapa, but there just didn't seem to be enough numbers and letters so I left it for the day and went onto solving more puzzle caches before going to bed. That night I had a lightbulb moment, so he next afternoon when I had the time, I sat down in front of the computer and solved it. Other than puzzling over it while going to sleep, this geocache was a really fast solve but it was full of OMG, I'VE GOT IT!! moments, that made it triple the fun. Which is why I am giving it a favorite point!!
The hunt for that geocache was more difficult than I thought it was going to be, I looked everywhere and I wasn't coming up with anything and the hint made no sense to me. I didn't want to DNF this one because I loved the puzzle so much, but just as I was thinking of giving up, I spotted it, I am so happy I found it, it just brings the geocache to an overall amazing experience. Thank you so much Petriez for creating this very fun puzzle and hide and thank you agcnz for maintaining it!!

If there was an easy way to solve this, I didn't find it. I stared at the cache page trying not to blink forever with pen and paper. It was a huge thrill to get the green geochecker after all that hard work. We collected this with another solver, Bennett24. Thanks for testing me with this challenge!
This puzzle was making me go cross-eyed so I enlisted the help of someone else and cannot take credit for the solve.
As with many others, one of our main objectives today was to get the 11 different cache types, as well as do the W2W race, so we headed here before the race started to complete the formalities.
There were a few muggles around so we had to be stealthy, but it didn't take to long to find the cache.
Thanks for setting this up agcnz

Had needed some help and pointers for the numbers for this one and have been sat on them for quite a while now. With my fishcake and chips being 25 minute wait I had time for this and another Traditional before gorging myself.
At G Z I paced up and down for a while before opening my eyes and seeing the cache in place. All good here and replaced as found

This was on my too-hard basket for a long time before I attempted it. As I knew I wouldn't have any possible way to "read" the code I went about a different technical method to decode the message. From there it was then another step to work out the final coordinates. Since then I've visited the final two or three times without success - given the logs I thought it was a really tricky hide and I just wasn't seeing it. Pulled up today with only a muggle across the road but he was hidden by his van so I was able to search in peace. It was only a short while before I eventually put my hand on the cache - why I didn't think to look there before, I don't know. I'm actually a bit annoyed at myself for not finding it sooner, but happy I've eventually got some resolution to this. TFTC+Fav
Solved puzzle reasonably easily, but no luck at gz — not helped by muggle business at end of street.
Had been a bit of a mission sorting out the coordinates. Glad to be in the area and make the find. Thanks.
So this one was a little easier for us than it might be for others because luckily my dad is trained in morse code! GZ was dead on a Sunday night, gave us time to have a good look. Found it in the end, good camo!
Starting working on this years ago and then lately teamed up with wb1116. Went for the find today with Glad-nz and GBNZ. Thanks for the interesting cache.
At first I dropped this in the too hard basket, however pulled it out again having started doing a few puzzle caches recently. I started looking at the flashing light and then decided to give it a real go. Naturally, the first stop was google to find out how to read Morse Code.
The numbers in Morse seemed pretty easy to understand, so it was back to the flashing light. Problem was, I didn't understand when one sequence finished and the next started.
Perseverance was the way ahead, so I just sat and stared at it. After a while, some of it begun to make sense so I kept paying attention.
After I started going cross eyed I then tossed it back in the too hard basket However I knew one day I'd pull it out again.
Sent a dit dit dit dah dah dah dit dit dit to a couple of guys at work who I thought might have a Morse clue - I never knew that some folk that trained in listening to Morse find it difficult to visualise. Eventually I found just the right person - thanks to his time in the Royal Navy he knew what he was doing
After he gave me the string of characters I thought it still made no sense. I tried multiplying it by pi, divided by the square root of the fourth digit while standing on my left foot with my left finger touching my nose and still didn't have the right formula.
Next step was a RNZN communicator who saw the light, changed his uniform to green and said one word - GOOGLE. With the original string provided by Morse Guys (thanks J.W. and S.H.) I punched that in to GOOGLE - even that came up twisted.
After using another tool I deduced that I needed to add a couple more numerals in strategic positions, stand on my right foot with my tongue poked out on a full moon and then convert to Darlec followed by a further twist to the left and then I had something I could poke at GeoChecker.
I received the green message of success!!! Finally!!!
A quick late night wander to the new coords (a little over the currently required 3km from the original location) and the package was in hand in no time.
Log sheet dry, container fine, all set for the next sailing.
Thanks AGCNZ for keeping the cache alive - it is worth it and gets a fav from me

This one has been on my list for a while as it's close by. I enjoyed working my way through the puzzle. To decode I screen-captured and slowed down so I could keep up with it. Easy find at GZ as the GPS was spot on. TFTC!
Solved it and found it. Not before being accosted by some military security chaps concerned about my interest in their compound. As the cache main page says there's no need to go to original coords. The notice on gate refered to is at the final which is km's from posted cords. Notice gives clue to location of cache container.
After being a little blind for a bit cache was located - out with Bigcheese. TFTC
Loved this puzzle, although I found it quite challenging. I visited the coordinates twice, and found the cache on the second visit after about 15 minutes of searching. It really wasn't as hard to find as I made it. TFTC
Stunning day, early summer? A foray into the upper reaches of the Hutt.
Pleased to have solved the puzzle and resolved for final coords.
Cache find was straightforward (this time - we've been here before and since that time there has been some pruning and tree work occur, which made the job oh so much simpler); log signed, cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Finally! A muggle-free afternoon with geo-kid #1 and this time around the GPS lead us straight to it. TFTC.
Fourth time lucky!!
This is the cache that started it, my caching colleague passed me a puzzle to help solve, solved it then though id have a crack at finding it! Turns out the finding part was the hard part, after being given some very strong hints ive found it TFTC!

Had assistance with the final co-ordinates on this one. Very clever. Quick find and cache in good order. TFTC
No joy today. Found myself outside a very secure location but couldn't find the cache nor could I grasp any relevance to the subject.
Will recheck the coordinates I have in my device and the geochecker which told me had the correct coordinates. Thoroughly enjoyed the deciphering though, I must say!

Found after a bit of a push in the right direction.
Have looked at this a number of times in the past, before recently settling down to solve the coordinates - still needed a bit of help from a friend - the old eyes aren't up to the task these days (if they ever were!)
Really like the way this cache was put together, and learnt a great deal along the way.
Bit of a struggle to get to GZ when it was muggle-free ... finally, on the fourth visit, and in daylight, managed to get an un-interrupted search under way. Only after finding the cache did I find out the significance of the final GZ location.

Tagged along with Greenslime on this one. Her eyes are sharper than mine when it comes to finding caches this size. TFTC.
I finally managed to solve this one, a quick early morning find.

Finally saw the light on this one on the third attempt. Took advantage of the holiday as there is muggle activity almost all the time on other days. Also there has been quite a bit of tidying up at GZ making the cache easier to spot, though I don't think it is at risk as the camo should help. No trouble with the code though a bit rusty on it. Second part took a bit of research but worth it for the interesting info. Finally registered about the clue I think but I hadn't made the connection earlier which is silly because I used to be involved though not been here in that context, but I suspect the muggle activity last time in the evening related to people involved in it and I recognised their probable mission at the time, I considered catching up with them for old times sake! Thanks for an interesting and educational cache.

Cache #273
Cache #862 - brilliantly done puzzle, and nicely hidden cache as well. Completed today with Crystal Fairy (who did the bulk of the work), MycroMan and Violet Butterfly. TNLNSL. TFTC, and definitely worth a favourite!
Solved this one a while ago. The puzzle had me confounded for a while until I realised it was 2 part and solved the second part. Was in the area today and knocked this one off. Cache well concealed even when almost on top of it. Thanks for the puzzle and cache. Did with MycroMan, Wandering Dragons and Violet Butterfly
After having solved the puzzle a few days ago, I was in the area today so called by to complete the formalities. Thanks for a fun puzzle and TFTC.
Thought I would have another go at this, last time I was not particularly confident about being in the right place, but now the geochecker has assured me that I was.
However was unable to shed any light on the cache tonight. GPS was again pointing me in the direction of an area where I was not comfortable searching in view of the warning about security cameras (though outside the property it would still have looked suspect.) I thought the cache might be in a place about 5 metres away as the hint would work nicely there but I couldn't locate it. But what finally ended the search was that there appeared to be something on tonight in one of the buildings, and there were quite a few cars heading into the complex which meant I was highly visible to them and could easily come under suspicion. Not sure I will try this one again as it is almost impossible not to look dodgy. Disappointing after the time and effort put into decoding the puzzle. I guess a vehicle might provide some cover though even then people could have reason to wonder what you are doing there, but I don't have one anyway!

Solved this a while ago, the code was not an issue as I used to use the audio version of it a lot, though I was a bit out of practice especially when using it in visual mode. Took a little research to find out what to do with the results, but soon found the answer which is something I was unaware of.
Checked the area out a while ago and couldn;t find anything though my visit was somewhat brief, so rechecked my answers and came up with the same solution so another unsuccesful try today, but again my time was limited.
There was a sign close to GZ which appears to have been erased, so maybe that was the sign referred to, but of moire concern is the other sign indicating that we might be watched

Finally knuckled down and solved this a short while ago, but then on the pick up there were too many muggles present so had to walk away. Very pleased to report that it was quiet in the vicinity this evening and nice to get the smiley. Really enjoyed the puzzle (although wasn't quite saying that at the time!) - very well put together. 7342 The code was quickly decoded in a flash of brilliance… many thanks for a nicely themed cache and original concept, cheers YuGeo4.

What a blinkin' great puzzle, really enjoyed this one, and top marks for an original idea. Must admit morse code isn't one of my strengths so had to defer to other analytical methods to solve this one.

StreetWalker solved this puzzle the day it was published, ready for a trip to Upper Hutt. I don't know why we missed it on the first pass (maybe the nearby muggles unnerved us), was relieved when we finally tracked it down. Our last cache of the day, as it started to drizzle at this point and we are fair weather cachers!

#2026 (17/17 in Upper Hutt). Solved the puzzle when it first came out. Couldn't follow the blinking light, so did a bit of analysis on the image. We floundered a bit at the final, but Troodles spotted it eventually. TFTC.
Looked at this when it first came out and I soon managed to blag a way of reading the message without having to travel to Devonport and enlisting. But having the message in hand didn't make me any the wiser. Stumbled around for a while before finding what the message meant. Next hurdle was getting up to that neck of the woods.
The family headed off to the Medieval Jousting Tournament at Brown Owl today so stopped off on the way home (to moans and groans from the muggles in the family). Very loud heavy metal band was practising up the road but otherwise deserted. Not sure what the reference to the sign means however.

Another nice and well designed puzzle, took a bit to solve BUT got there in the end.
