Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Would not surprise me one bit if this cache is still there..... High Muggle area.....Lots of options.....Was raining.....
Had a look for it, before I realised it was disabled.
Searched fo it on our pre New Zealand Mega Event lap of the South Island.
Cheers from Browngang.

Sorry reviewer team but.......list of DNF logs, and we know of 2 more not logged. Checked with last finders of hide detail, and this cache is definately gone. 4 sets of eyes today checked.
Please fix or archive. thanks

It's hidden very well.
I just think people aren't looking too well.
I will look if its there soon and I'll temporarily disable it till I go look...
But it's hidden we'll so I won't be surprised if your overlooking it.

This needs a cache size and a proper hint- searched lots with mattman wanted must be gone. Also did a night cache look with bumandworker, was in the correct place with cache object known... Definitely gone
Searched for a while but after reading logs of other finders decided coordinates are too far out. A pity.
We spent 3 days filming in Franz and waiting for the sun to come out. My first few times hunting for this I was muggled then the other times I was just defeated. So you did not find from me
Looked yesterday DNF so re-read logs & that helped so was quickly in hand today TFTC
lots of muggles around, no luck, but not sure what we were looking for ! shame ....
A couple of the logs here were more helpful than the co-ordinates. A fairly quick find early in the morning.
Took a look around for about 10 minutes today on our way to Hokitika, but had no love. Relatively few muggles about, but still came up empty. Didn’t have access to more than 5 previous logs, and so could not use them to suss out the location.
Found this last month on our trip to see the glaciers. Got here early enough for there not too be many muggles so got to have a good look around. A cool little town busy with campervans and busses. Thanks for the cache
Phew! Lots of folk around but no muggles nearby! Co-ords just a bit out, but did take advice from previous finds and only took a minute to find. *** Needs new log paper! Thanks 'Pilot Flynn' for setting up this one. RoamingParsons from Bundaberg, Oz.
Pretty bad coordinates, had to read previous logs to find it, TB's missing. Cheers.
Found on a wet day waiting for the clouds to clear before heading to the glacier.
Not in the first place we looked but after reading previous logs we had an easy find.

The only cache in a radius of 10 kilometers. What else should we do in Franz Josef? Lets go to the Fox Glacier.
Seemed to be so many places to turn over objects looking for the cache and so many muggles around. For me, I needed a better hint.
Found on trip round New Zealand from the UK after a short search on a beautiful evening... released kiwi travel bug here! Ok, it's jammed in a bit but fits, so please move him on...
Actually, we were on the way to Fox glacier but that did not stop us from caching in Franz-Josef

Had the cache and logged it. A bus arrived so i took the cache with me and retourned it stelthy after an hour waiting with a coffee on the other side of the road. Tftc.
Before we started the heli scenic flight, we found this little cache; TFTC & greetings from Austria!
Nice hide, thanks. Hope there will be more like this in the future, keeping cachers happy on rainy days... TFTC
Having booked our gletschertour, and having some spare time, we noticed this cache. Nice hidden in these busy surroundings. TFTC
Luckily we were there at a quiet moment and it was a quick grab and replace. TFTC
Called by on our way to Fox. Must be the third cache we've now found in this vicinity.

Found it quickly and was hopefully able to log it without too much muggle attention.

We had a look for this one in the late afternoon but there were way too many muggles about to have a proper look. Then we came back after dinner & on our way to see the glow worms. Nice hide in a busy place. SL TFTC
Took a while before we found this one since it was about 10 m from where the GPS zeroed.
We were booked on a helihike today but unfortunately the wheather was too bad and it was cancelled
We put in a piece of paper that people can use for the logs.

Log full, had us scratching around for a while, but got it in the end TFTC!
Nice one. Even though we were asked whether we are 'alright' while looking for it.
Had a quick look around yesterday, but too many others around. Came back for another try this morning at 0700 with no one else about, but still couldn't find it:( Will have to have another go sometime...
Found in the first spot I looked. Unfortunately also looked in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th sports, before coming back to have a better look at the first
After a helikopter ride up over the glaciers and round Mount Cook
we ended our stay in Franz Josef by logging this cache. There were
some mugglers moving around but i do not think too many noticed our
search for the cache. Logged together with wasawasa. TFTC

Unfortunately we were attracting too much attention so gave this a miss.
We had to wait for the heli flight, what else could you do......?

Before going to the Franz Josef Glacier we had a short break here. Not even easy to get this cache without been seen. We tried to be stealthy. TFTC and greetings from Germany.
Quick find at the most obvious spot with two Geocaching virgins. Good hide. We are staying in Franz Joseph having walked up onto the glacier yesterday. We are off on a helicopter trip to fox glacier today. TFTC
We found the cache about 10m away from where the gps insisted it was. Later in the day we came back here for coffees and spotted someone else wandering around the same area as we had been. Pointed them in the right direction before introducing ourselves to the motorbike fanatics from Christchurch. Nice to meet you guys. TFTC.
Good Afternoon,
I am from Vancouver Canada and I have been geocaching around New Zealand the last couple of weeks. During the day I did the all day hike up around the glacier and that was an epic experience that was very enjoyable the only downside was that it was SO SO WET!!! I found the cache quickly enough but was not able to sign the log as it was soaked and I didn't want to damage it.

Searched for it at different times over period of 2 days. no sign alot of people around lots of rubbish around car park and bushes
Failed to find in the dark last night after having looked for several minutes. In the end, the cache was easy to find despite my recurring doubts as to it's hiding place. TFTC
Last One Today and hardest. But we knew it should Be there and it was. Many Muggles around.
Looked high and low, but found it despite being short. Left TB Beetle Bailey 2-tag only. Thanks.
lots of mugglers and workers in the area in fact the area is being dug up so unfortunately have had to log it as a "no find"!
A quick find as we looked around Franz Josef where we are staying for the night.

One of those ones you just have to get on with and do. Nice day here, a bit of hustle and bustle as the tourist season starts to wind down. TFTC.
Before we started our trip of the Franz Glacier we found it very good. This was our first time on a glacier. TFTC
Took a few minutes but then we looked in the right spot and there it was. Ignored the muggles and they ignored us. Found with Billhillies.
We found it easily, but it was a bit difficult to put it back with a bus of tourists parking just next to it.
