Nice quick multi and quick find, just we like. Another quick trip into town for supplies and love an easy multi.Thank you WanderingAus for placing and maintaining WanAus 188 - LKA Waroona for us and others to find and enjoy.
Found after crossing the Nullabor and heading down to Esperance and Albany on our way around the SW coast and north to Perth. We camped out near Lake Brockman before meandering up the coast to spend the night at Fremantle. Wandered around the cemetery collecting the clues, did the calculations and headed off for the search. Thanks for the cache WanderinAus!
The geocaching plan of action today for Taurus Six and I was a bit undecided as the weather was also undecided. It kind of looked like it might be a rainy day but on closer inspection looked more like it was just going to be showery. Therefore we decided not to stray too far and rather to focus on a stretch of the South West Highway we had not collected yet being between Waroona and Pinjarra . From there we would then circle back along the Old Bunbury Road meeting back up with the Forrest Highway back to Bunbury. It really was a classic spring day rain , fine , rain , fine , rain , fine. We really should have expected more rainbows however they were not around today. All in all still a good day for geocaching .
This is our first cache find of the day, we always enjoy cemetery caches and multis always add an extra element of interest. It started raining as we arrived so umbrellas were necessary as we collected all the information to solve where the final gz would be. We headed to final coordinates and soon had cache in hand . Thanks for the cache Wandering Aus .

Have completed this over a couple of trips to the cemetery, have not been able to get to all the sites at once due to funerals.
Today I was able to recheck and gather the final bits of information needed and get some good coordinates.
Walked to GZ and after letting the gps settle found the cache quickly.
Thanks WanderingAus for placing WanAus 188 - LKA Waroona for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 13:50 on 8/1/2023.
This is find number 6478 for me.

Day 1 Heading down to Bunbury for WAGB22, collecting smilies as we go, with only a couple of dnfs . Happy to say that this was one of them .. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for others to find , tftc
Still on annual leave and a **SWH...** cache gets published in my name - so of course a little road trip is called for Down the freeway, turn off at Harvey and back up the SWH home Once I saw there was a LKA cache on my travels I made sure to stop off here too A hot day to be walking around the cemetery but all info quickly found and the final worked out under the shade of a handy tree. Short walk and I was signing the log. Great stuff - all ok here today, TFTC
A nice simple multi we enjoyed the stroll around the cemetery all in good condition TFTC
Great multi here WanderingAus. I’m happy to have another clue saved.
A couple were cleaning up a grave and we exchanged hello’s. I think they were wondering what I was doing.

The plan for the day was to find as many caches in the South West Highway series and nearby caches to complete a challenge we had been working on. At the end of the day we found 38 caches with only one DNF.
Heading home from a visit to Wellington Dam we spent some time in Waroona doing multis and enjoying a delicious lunch at Drakesbrook Pub.
Managed to find a website that allowed us to solve this at home which was just as well as the Cemetery was busy today being Mothers Day.
TFTC WanderingAus this is find #11595 for us.

Heading to Brunswick to pick up my nephew from a cattle judging camp this afternoon. Decided to make the most of the day and drive to clean up as many caches as I could before pickup time. Let’s see how I go! Thanks for placing and maintaining.

Ive been cooped up for 11 days social distancing myself due to being immune compromised during this COVID-19 pandemic. Before I go mad I thought today I would go for a drive not far from home and still stay isolated hunting caches that have not been touched recently and are not near any people. I really enjoy the LKA multis - thanks for taking the time to do this one. Found ( but not at the base of a tree) all in good condition - signed and replaced as found TFTC
Found it. TFTC WanderingAus. Nice quite and relaxing walk here. I should do more of these LKA’s
Woohoo !!! Found it !!!
Ventured out today to continue the hunt smilies.
This one was on the hit list and turned into a find.
I have to venture quite a bit away from home these days as I’ve cleaned up all the caches close to me but it makes the adventure all the more exciting.

I think the geospouse has gone mad. Completely lost her caching sense. Couldn’t find an elephant in a chook run. Doesn’t matter as we quickly found all the info and soon had the log signed.

WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and replaced the container in the same spot with a drab camo'd 500 Ml round screw-top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps.
Another LKA to add to our growing list. Nicely done. Just the right amount of travel and a hide in the most logical spot. Log was inside the plastic bag and was saturated so left it out of the bag since the weather is drier and hope it will dry out. Otherwise, great multi. Loved it. TFTC!
Found by Mary & David at 1400. After a Dome lunch, and now a cemetery cache, life is good. This, to Mary, is what caching is all about. Another FP. So amazing to see kangaroo paws growing wild out of the sand all around the cemetery, as well as many other wildflowers. The container had a lot of water in it, which we emptied, but the log book is sodden and we had trouble logging our find. Our thanks to WanderingAus.
What a beautiful little cemetery full of birds and trees. Well maintained gardens line the path. Pretty simple four step multi cache coordinates to graves spot on and collecting the regiment numbers only took a few minutes. Although I think I may have got one number wrong. As I ended up 10 meters from the cache or I found it before the gps caught up. Nice cache cheers
We planned a trip down south with m4yB & Sir Ricard or Megawat, primarily to have a good time but with half an eye out for a few more LGAs for us.....I think they already have them all.
I am trying to collect as many of theses as I can as they remind me of Church Micros in the U.K. TFTC

Thanks for taking us to this place, learnt a little while finding the cache. Tftc sl tnln.
Todays caching adventure with M4YB was brought to us by the SWH and the towns it travels through from Pinjarra to Cookernup. Most of the finds were quick and easy with a few lovely LKA caches thrown in to get out of the car and have a stroll around the dead centres of a couple of towns. I ended up with 20finds and 1 DNF which gets me even closer to the wonderful 2000 mark.
They can't all be park and grabs and quite often multis are missed when your just caching while getting from A to B. But today A and B were caches so we ventured into the dead centre of town.
Another great Wandering Aus LKA multi here, have done quite a few of them now and love how they pay tribute to our unsung soldiers. After completing the multi and finding the cache we headed back and for the first time I noticed what a strong Italian presence Waroona once had. Its so interesting to see how the sects respected their past loved ones walking through the Catholic and Anglican sections.
Giving this one a fav point because I appreciate the thought and time that goes into these and enjoy LKA caches.

The afternoon's adventure along the South West Highway with WebblyWA continues, and a very enjoyable one it was too.
By now we were ready for a bit of a walk, so off we went to look at the historical graves of the Waroona Cemetery. We gathered the required numbers. Put the resulting coordinates in, and soon after the cache was in hand.
Thanks for this LKA, WanderingAus, I also appreciate the focus on the soldiers who served in the Armed Forces. A fave for all the work setting up this multi.

Hi there WanderingAus.
We found your cache **"WanAus 188 - LKA Waroona"** at 10:14:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 14984.
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 23 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Headed out with Skippy 46 for a day of caching down south. The weather was kind to us with only a quick shower on the way down and the same on the way home. After collecting all the info needed we headed to GZ and the cache was quickly found. TFTC WanderingAus
I headed on into the cemetery yesterday to find this cache,
and found an ever growing crowd assembling for a burial [:o]
This morning I was back at the slightly larger cemetery to find the cache with not a living soul around
A good stroll around the stones was had before heading to GZ and a quick cache find

After staying a couple of nights at lake Brockman, we were on our way home with the caravan in tow.
This was one of a couple we felt confident finding a parking spot at.
We wandered around gathering our clues before heading over to GZ to make a quick find.

The last cache in Coolup we have visited twice and could not find it. This cache we have visited twice and found it twice . Arriving at the parking we got a "deja-vu" experience. We have been here before! Walking around the cemetery visiting all the waypoint we were doubting: Did we do this cache before? As soon as we had the final coordinates calculated and approached GZ we had the funny feeling we did this one before indeed! We found the cache without ANY trouble and went through the logbook. YES we found this one already on the 25/02/2013, some 25 months ago. That might also explain the fact that this was the only "non-smiley" we had on the GC map in Waroona and why the cache did NOT show up on my display after loading it into the GPS'r from the laptop. We have not backdated the find but used todays date. TFTC WanderingAus, a double experience, first time in just over 2250 caches!
Out with geo kids and muggle husband, and stopped off to do a few caches, loved this multi, I find cemetery's so interesting. Thank you x
We were in town and could not pass up the opportunity to grab this one we do enjoy these types of caches it did not take too long to grab the coords for the final and we made a quick find once at gz [^] a favourite from us here

Heading to Waroona for the day with my family (jasenjanine) & this was one of the caches we found on our drive ... Thanks WanderingAus
Headed out for the day for a bit of a drive through the countryside we found ourselves out at Waroona for a couple of hours... Of course we had to stop by this lovely old cemetery We had actually been here about a year ago & collected the clues, but ran out of time to make the find... Today, we arrived with our calculated co-ords & Jase had already made the find before I could get the kids from the car
Thanks for another enjoyable LKA WanderingAus [^] Cache was in good condition.

Decided to head down to Bunbury for an overnight stay, via the SWH to pick up caches that have appeared since we were last down that way.

Another cemetery to intrigue me with reading the old gravestones.
Found cache all safe and sound.

There was work going on at the cemetery today but fortunately the cache was not near the activity. TFTC

A nice little cemetery with quite a number of servicemen by the looks of it.

Nice easy set up. Probably wish they weren't all War graves but interesting to see that they all didn't have the grave stones that soldiers are supposed to have. Tftc tnln
Well this was one of my favourites for our day out in Waroona. I don't think I have ever seen a cemetary where the graves are segregated by religious beliefs. Very strange.
Geokids were facinated by the staues and headstones and showed great respect as they wandered around looking.
We located the respective sights quite easily and soon had all the info we needed to reach our prize. A small hike and a few spider webs and we had the container in hand.
Thanks for a great experience that we would not have had without your cache WanderingAus.

After our last disappointment at Waroona Dam it was great to be able to log a find for this cache! We really enjoyed this one so a favourite point from us!!
Well this one should've been a quick find except for the fact that we didn't bring the gps. We were down here doing a maintenance run on our caches and mr allys angels decided we should grab this one. Solving the clues was easy but finding the cache proved a little hard. We eventually found gz after trying our heaps of aps on the phone. Luckily it was a lovely day so we enjoyed the time in the sun,
An enjoyable multi but a bit spooky as the GPS started playing up as soon as we walked into the cemetery. We would walk one way and then it would spin around and have us walking back the other way and kept doing it! Anyway we got there in the end. SL TFTC
On 18 Sep 11 I became aware that the headstone for Robert George Hull had been removed, and I updated the listing to include the appropriate number.
An email from SteKer54 indicates the headstone has been returned with Mrs Hull's details added, so I've now taken the number out.
Thanks for the heads up SteKer54.

Today rudi63 and I headed South for a bit of a caching run. The original plan was to hit Bunbury straight up, but we changed that and decided to clean out some of the South Western Highway first.
A LKA in the area? It is a certainty to be completed. rudi63 and I wandered around gathering the clues before heading off to the final. We both really enjoy these style of caches as you always wonder what these people who are pioneers or war veterans went through in their life
The final was an easy find as well
Thanks for the cache WanderingAus

Got to love holidays!. Off with Mr. Wileyclan today to undertake a caching assault on the South Western Highway to Bunbury. A pleasant Summers Day and off we went. [^]
I really enjoy all the LKA caches, and this was no exception. You seem to get a sense of the history of the town as you wander and look at the grave stones. Thanks WanderingAus for bringing us to the remote cemetery. Signed the log, took nothing, left nothing.

Was running out of daylight with this one, and gps was leading us round in circles, then we got rained on too. I was on the verge of chucking a minor tantrum and giving up, but we persevered, and the cache was soon in hand. Contents were very wet so we dried it out as best we could. TNLN. Thanks

Went back with the "spoiler" and found the cache easily.
Had fun walking around the cemetary at 6.00pm with a torch, as it was the only chance I had of finishing off the hunt before I return to Perth.
TFTH and the remaining numbers I needed.

Not so much a didn't find it, more of a couldn't find it. The headstone for Robert George Hull has been removed as there is now another family member to be interred with him. A simple cross is now it it's place with the name Betty Hull added to it. The site seems to have been recently disturbed as there are lots of fresh flowers and photos on the site.
Had a nice wander around the cemetery, after the first couple of WP's I could find the headstone before hubby got close enough to tell me the name! I was telling him!
Quickly worked out coords and headed off! Walked straight past it!!
