FFFFFFAAAAAARRRRRRRKKKKK!!why is it always me?!?! The Huntsman on this one could have been the world record holder for size and aggression!!! He's in heaven now thanks to Mr. The.Hitchies!!
The way I was screaming I'm surprised we didn't get discovered!! Anyway, back to the Cache! After a battle with above mentioned Huntsman spider we were able to sign off on this one!! Thanks again Team Fudley for the extra ultra extensive coaching on how to find this one TNLN!

Had another go at this one on Monday but with no luck working out where that chirp was. Totally frustrated and worn out from all the trecking I suddenly had a light bulb moment. Back to the unit to check on the laptop and bingo.
Back today and straight to the chirp and on to the cache. So easy with the right info. Thanks Fuddley for the challenge and my first chirp cache. A favorite.

Was looking forward to this one to try out the chirp feature on my new GPSr. Having arrived at the parking waypoint without a clue where to go next, I tried all the walking trails, being stopped by water on one, but no luck with a chirp. Obviously doing something wrong. Maybe next time.
How lame! A chirp is only a twenty dollar item, and with password protection it's a joke to take one. I got a couple myself with the idea to use them in my first hide to make it a good one, to think some $&@? Head might poke around in a 32 foot circle to score a souvenir does not reassure me that fun is for more than one!
Oh what a shame . This one was offline when we downloaded the PQ onto the Garmin last week ... we should have checked on it again while we were there, shouldn't we [?]. Next time maybe
It would seem that someone thinks they have a better use for my chirp, so they have taken it. Not sure why as it is of no use to them, as it can only be re-programmed by my GPSr.
Anyway I will have to look at either sourcing another one or change the type of cache.

Spent some time scratching my head on this as I was not getting the expected results. I then referred to another who had some experience to offer and I got confirmation that I was correct in my location. Considering the date, and that these chirps run for about 12 months and a battery, it might be that the battery on this chirp has gone caput and needs replacement?
Dropped off Crocodile geocoin 'Crikey is that a croc?' at 5.00pm. Wrote fast as mozzies were descending. TFTC
This ha to be one one of the most elusive caches I have come across in some time.
My efforts to make sense of things in such a way as too clarify things as much as possible to improve the chances of my locating this cache were all in vain!!
I had what I thought was on the verge of concluding my findings when I decided to pause for a few minutes and take a walk around a bit to take in a few sites in a place I had never been before. I walked for about ten minutes and then sat down for a few minutes to give my ankle a rest. A couple more minutes and I was walking again until I came across another bench which I of course set out to perch on as before, any moments off my ankle help to extend my time moving about.
Anyway...
...not the second I was perching my GPSr had started to announce that it was downloading the chirps data.
Of course this had made all my efforts pointless pretty much, but that was ok considering.
Of corse I took the rubber chicken which will be moved on to another home.

That's strange, the Cache was high and dry and well away from any risk of floating away when I found it.
I don't have a chirp enabled GPS so I got the final coords from the CO, but I couldn't locate the cache, I did however fing a satchel bag full of ants burried in the grass nearby.
The recent heavy rains have caused a bit of minor flooding in the park with floating weeds now sitting high and dry including over the footbridge.
A nice walk but disappointing not to sign the log.

Gee I needed a really big prompt with this one because this Brain is certainly not all that Tech savvy , I Don't have a PAF so I had to resort to EMAF, which thankfully helped a lot.
OK stage one was to get to the Car parking spot, not being from Bundy this had us Driving around a bit, But we got there in the end, Next stage was to get to the Chirp which was a bit of a mission today because of all the water, we had a 50/50 shot at being on the right side of the raging Creek, thankfully we chose the right side, we got to Chirp GZ full of anticipation, but we were disappointed when there was no chirp sound (I have since found the Batteries need to have enough juice left in them for my GPS to chirp)
We did get a bit excited when the GPS started to download the next set of
Co-Ords and a hint, This is magic.
Simple as when it all comes clear, Hi-lite go push enter and away we went to GZ. My first ever Chirp and I really enjoyed it, I look forward to doing a few more of these.
Left Rubber Chicken T/B to continue it's journey
Thanks Fuddley

Well, we set off on our bikes to look for this one. The GPS chirped in the right area, but we searched in the wrong area. Found two golf clubs and a pair of sunglasses but no cache. Felt something wasn't right so we went to the first location and started again. This time all went to plan and the cache was soon found. This was our first ever chirp cache. Was glad to return home for a cold drink as it was quite hot out in the sun today. Thanks Fuddley!
Set out with us3scouts on our bikes. Was so hot we nearly gave it away before we found the cache. After some persistence we came up with the goods. Enjoyed doing the cache just not the heat. TFTC Fuddley.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Luckily I had been talking to other cachers at the event and realised that I did not have all the information to get the cache. They gave me a few hints and I headed off for the cache. My first chirp search and I was surprised to see a message come up on the GPS.
Off to the new coordinates and I soon had the cache.
Thanks for the adventure.

On the hunt today with TassieGirl, Agap and Pigwig while in town for the events this weekend.
This was my first chirp cache so once we had the GPS chirping the rest was easy.
Really enjoyed the new way of caching so we hope to do a few more like this.
With three of us on the hunt we soon had the cache in hand.

This had to be one of my very favourites for the whole trip and my 800th find so I was quite chuffed even if there were a few false starts with all of us trying to connect at the same time. A great area to visit and a fun cache to find TFTC Mr Fuddley
The puzzle was easily solved, as I have done a few of these now.
My first CHIRP cache, and it worked well. Cache was quickly found.
On the way back to the car, RoseGums was not using too much caution on her scooter and ignored yells from behind to stop. When she did stop she found herself about a foot away from the head of a carpet snake. Boy was there screaming!

We had done our homework for this one the night before, so it was with much anticipation that we wandered over to see what this "chirp" thing is all about.
We had a few issues connecting and found we needed to be quite accurate with our location, also with 3 GPS's trying to connect at once, we decided maybe one at a time would be better.
With final co-ords, we headed over and soon had the log book to sign.
Thanks Fuddley for something very different for us today, very novel!!

Before I left for our big Bundy trip I had to ask how to find the damn starting co-ords for this cache. I can guarantee the guarantee of a thousand guarantees I would have never worked it out on my own. Being said Gaz'n'Kab, Fangsoki and I trekked to those co-ords today where I discovered that my GPS needs a firmware update (oh yes, I'm right up with this technology business, thankfully Gaz and Fangsoki are both geeky as). Soon the needed info was received and we were off. Nice easy find for the final. I like this idea for a waypoint, and I'm sure will come in very handy, especially in high muggle areas. I look forward to doing more chirp caches. TFTC.
After suffering from brain fade & forgetting a previously sourced prompt for this one youngoldfella resorted to PAF..
Following this we retreated to the nearest Golden Arches to do a quick bit of research and get a caffeine hit....
Body recharged & clue found we set out again...
Arriving @ WP1 we soon established communication with Chirp and received the next installment of our task...
After a short stroll we located the Source...

We solved this one at home before we headed up for the event, so we knew how to get to GZ
We arrived, and sure enough, the two GPSr's soon had the cchirp coming in
A quick stroll off to the final GZ, and the cache was soon in hand
Our second chirp, and we really enjoyed this one

I thought that there must be more than a chirp enabled GPSr needed for this one. Thought and thought and nothing came to mind. Read the words off the computer screen and still nothing. consulted my caching partner, Kaisho53, and he was like me, No idea. Had to use the PAF line, actually rang the CO and he gave me a push in the right direction but did not give too much away.I was still not too much the wiser. Worked it out quickly enough over a coffee at Macas in a brain storm session with Peter. My first Chirp cache. Teamed up with Kasiho53 for a wonderful weekend of caching. TFTC Fuddley

I had found out the trick to solving the puzzle but as I had the wrong type of computer with me there wasn't going to be any chirping for me until some new friends met on the trail (thanks guys) took pity on me and sent me in the right direction to find the chirp. There was a bit of menu scrolling out there under a tree to turn on the chirp, then next thing - there it was. Very cool. Off I went to the next coords and found the cache. A nice nature reserve, so many birds that nobody would notice an extra chirp. Thanks for the experience Fuddleys - it all happens in Bundaberg!
This is my 2nd Chirp cache - and I do enjoy them. We made our way to the required GZ and did our connections. I am fairly sure, when caching in a group, that you should not all try to connect to the Chirp at the same time
With the co-ords collected we moved to the final GZ. The cache was located after a small hunt and in good condition. A well setup cache in a beautiful area - TFTC Team Fuddley

Did this cache with the model bears, as we don't have a chirp. Laughed when the chirp went off. Very appropriate. Was that deliberate? Continued on to the cache. Had fun doing this one. TFTC
If is now after 3.30pm and 2/3rds of the AG's joined us for their first chirp and our second. We worked out where we thought the chirp was located and wandered there and sure enough, our GPS chirped the relevant information for the next stage of the cache. It was then a quick stroll to find the prize, a well stocked cache. Pity half modelbear closed the other half of modelbear's finger when closing the cache. Thanks for the puzzle, the chirp experience and the cache. Another Fuddley masterpiece in a beautiful part of Bundy.
Found on an afternoon trip around town with Ozibags while staying here for a few nights on the way north. I do like these caches & was happy there wasn't a lot of waypoints. I solved the puzzled before I arrived & just had to do it before I left. The short stroll to GZ was just perfect. TNLNSL TFTC Fuddley,

Well I reckon there is a little of Max and 99 in all of us so we just had to tackle this one. Once we had weathered our oregon's habit of blacking out we managed to update it's brain so it too could chirp. It was kind of spooky to sit there and watch the numbers appear. After that it was all down hill so we signed the log and enjoyed the experience.
Thanks Fuddley

Just like the song says, "chirpy chirpy cheep cheep" . Had a weekend planned in ozibags-land and on arrival were asked to join him at the posted co-ordinates. Not having a chirp-enabled GPSr and not knowing of this cache's existance until that moment, we of course agreed immediately . Standing at the parking spot beside the incredibly smelly rubbish bin [xx(], we read the notes and "solved the puzzle" really, really, really quickly . Headed off to the location, but soon decided we were on the wrong side of the water . Went back to the start and paddled through mud and more mud to a point where we were absolutely sure we were on the wrong side of the water [:(!]. Re-paddled through the mud, past the smelly rubbish bin [xx(] and found ourselves at a place that seemed right. Next thing we knew, there was a "chirp" and we were on the way to GZ. Cache was a quick find and 'ozibags', as the only real chirper there, signed the log to claim the FTF. What a fun way of doing things [^], but I'm having trouble visualising Mr Fuddley as a little yellow canary ... love ya work, really [:X].

Well, in usual Mrs Lat&long fashion I tagged along with the 2 super sleuths accompanying me with their 'super sleuth devices' in hand. One going 'cheep cheep' the other very silent (must be due to it's age - snigger snigger!!!).
The cache was found after the questions answered.
TFTC and another dimension to geocaching.
What will they think of next?

Yippeeeee! my first ever Chirp cache - and a *FTF* as well. When this cache popped up I checked my GPS, and to my great joy it was chirp-enabled. So I met Team L&L Junkie at the listed coords (they just happened to be visiting the area, and just happened not to have a Chirp-enabled GPS). We combined our resources and, after finally finding the correct way in to WP1, we waited for my GPS to do something! (good play on words too Fuddley ).
Waiting....waiting.... then suddenly my GPS sprang to life and presented us with all the necessary information - fantastic! Then off to GZ to rendezvous with the cache. Ahhh! the sight of an empty log book is a wonderful thing. This secret agent claimed the FTF booty and handed over the log book for L&L Junkie to also sign.
Thanks for a great experience Fuddley.
