Cool little set up to get the final coordinates. Cache is well hidden and in good order. TFTC!
Last cache this morning and what a lovely surprise! This was cute and entertaining to do.We had a good (not climbing) morning walk
Firstly, great job Isopeda in adjusting the coords here...certainly made finding this one a lot more straight forward! Waypoint marker retrieved and replaced as soon, and soon after the cache was in hand and signed. But not before the cache guardian turned up to make sure we were behaving ourselves. What a beauty! We can only hope this is NOT a sign that 2024 is the year of the magpie, again. No one could cope with that.Great cache...thanks! I think that's this lower face of Mt Taylor done now.
This has been on my list of wanting to do caches for a while. So I was rather disappointed that its last log was a DNF. I still gave it a go and after looking at all the information abandoned WP 1 and took a punt of where to search. But I then also contacted a previous finder and - lo and behold - I was only 13 metres out with my estimation. After finding the cache in surprisingly good condition and signing the log, I went back to my car and after rummaging through it cobbled together a viable WP. It's a bison on a stick in the same hollow that mountainsbeyond used. Make sure you chock the stick when returning the info so it doesn't fall through. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
No sign of any container, even after reading the last comment. We enjoyed it anyway, lovely location and some beautiful birds.
#2283 Upon reaching the waypoint I searched the tree high and low with no joy. Spread the search area and found the base of a container and the lid shortly thereafter, however no GZ info remained. I reached out to a previous finder who had attended to some maintenance for final coordinates to allow me to continue on and find the cache.
I have included a note paper in the container at waypoint and replaced it above head height and secured in place with a rock for future hunters.

Couldn’t find, looks like a branch may have fallen in front of the hollow log.
Out for a little caching on my two hour window for adventure! Excellent little multi and huge thanks to MB for the awesome maintenance
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to the COs for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

As the CO is no longer active, I have re-established a hide at WP1 containing the GZ coordinates to help future finders.
The coordinates are hidden a little differently to the original listing: rather than being up inside the tree they are instead located at just over head height in a burnt hollow. Please rehide well, and enjoy the short walk to GZ.

I used my exercise window today to locate this multi. As jemmyjemz mentioned there's no sign of the GZ coords at WP1 despite an extensive search up into both the hollow trees.
In desperation I reached out to a previous finder who was kind enough to give me a very good steer, so popped on over to GZ and found this cache in remarkably good condition nearly two years since it was last found.
I'm marking it as needs maintenance because in the absence of the coords at WP1, and without help from a previous finder, this cache will continue to be unfound and that's a shame - Mt Taylor is a lovely reserve to explore.

The coords at wp1 are missing. All that's up there now are the hook-type thing and a broken ziptie.
I had gloves but no sleeves so there was only so far I was prepared to search. Come back better prepared.
This is Cache type No. 4 in our GC Streak Week Challenge - have now found and logged a Traditional, a Virtual, a Letterbox, an Earthcache and now a Multi. We really like clever cache hides like this one - what a great idea - gave us both a smile, so fav point from us. Left a lucky Chinese Year of the Monkey heart token. Cache co-ords and cache at GZ all in good order too. TFTC 2BluFish
I was walking straight past WP1 and I had to stop. Circled around a couple of times and checking the hint, grabbed a nearby stick and quickly extracted the necessary information. Made a quick find at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
Quick find on our way through to other caches in the area.

A nice one to end the day. First attempt at the waypoint yielded nothing and we were left wondering. Tried the hint and it sent us back to try again what we had just done but this time more thoroughly. This time our stick hit something that made a tingly sound. Aha! Being brave, I stuck my hand in amongst all the cobwebs and pulled out the hidden information. From there it was a quick walk to find gz and the cache neatly hidden away. The geoson was impressed with the handy work at the waypoint. A fav from him and me. TFTM
Found today with Joolay on a lovely Autumn walk. Very cool multi ! Love it

Wow fantastic cache. But pays to read the lie which we didn’t. Found with Kittykatch on a day to start clearing Mt Taylor. Cache in good condition. Fave for me. TFTC
Nearing the end of our time off work together, 12fieldtrip & I dropped the geokids off at school & childcare & headed out for some caches. The caches around this spot are all really well made & executed.
WP1 was pretty cool & well constructed. GZ was found easily & a pathtag collected. Great first hide. TFTC!

A good morning walk before it got too hot. Needed to review the logs to ensure we were at the right spot for WP1. Coords were spot on and waypoints were eventually found by Roarts. Tftc.
Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it borderloop.
The whole family with Betty and the two dogs were up for a short hike and so we picked Mt Taylor with its many awesome caches on the eastern side. Found all cache which were all really good and had a great time with nice views on this warm day.
Now this cache had us stumped for the longest time at WP1 I had a bit of a sore back and was as agile to look in all places and had excluded the hide as all checked. I knew it was still there as all other found it no problem.
After going all over and again a second and third time Wilma eventually made the find.
A great idae for a Waypoint. A FAVpoint for us.
Thank you borderloop for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Having tackled the caches on the higher parts of Mt. Taylor earlier in the week, today I set my sights on a few caches at the foot of the mountain. This was my first cache of the day.
Waypoint 1 was a really nifty set-up! Cool concealment, easily found and retrieved with the co-ordinates for gz clearly marked.
A short stroll to gz and the cache was easily found.
A neat single offset multi - thanks Borderloop!

An easy and straightforward multi that gets to the point but does it in its own unique yet simple way!
Was grabbing a few multi's and this was next on my list, A short walk from the gate and WP1 was quickly found. Was a pleasure for the system so I didn't have to try crane my neck! Very cool.
Coords were plugged in and I was off to GZ which had perfect coordinates and led me to the decent sized cache in the obvious hiding spot.
Thanks for the multi borderloop! A solid first hide, you know its good when it's lasted 7+ years without a single maintenance log!

After finding myself on this side of town with nothing to do, I found an area with unfound caches and went for a walk. This was my first find of the morning - great set up for the waypoint coords! GZ was found fairly quickly and log signed. TFTC!
Great idea for a multi, AddictedGamer and I really liked it. Grabbing the coords were great and very clever. Disturbed a little lizard on the cache when we retrieved this one. He was very cute. The waypoint and cache were all in good order. Tftc!!!
This is a fantastic multi... exactly what a multi should be. Not 47 waypoints or complex calculations... just a container with coords to another one. Geodaughter spotted it in its little hidy hole and I found the cache itself. Favourite from us just for the coolness of WP1 and the beauty of the multi itself
Decided to go for a walk with geopartner and geohound around the base of Taylor.
This was the third cache. Geopartner grabbed the waypoint details. Soon we were at GZ for a quick find. TFTC borderloop

Between the good coordinates and the hint, the nicely concealed coordinates where easily found. Really liked this set up as well as a simple close find for the cache. Thanks for the cache borderloop.
4 hours up, around and down Mt Taylor, all in a early Sunday mornings cache hunt. Nippy to start but when the sun broke the over the trees it was just the wind that kept reminding me that it was still Winter. WP1 and GZ a quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
Another feat engineering. We have been amazed by the creativity of the caches today. TFTC to finish off our afternoon
Nice easy multi in a great spot. Stocked up the cache with some swaps kindly donated by my boys. TFTC borderloop
Accompanied with All7.. Was a lovely day to do some caches decide to do this area for the day, TFTC borderloop
Accompanied with Dragon 1982... Beautiful full sunny and great walked to track and saw few Kangaroo everywhere.... Thanks
I looked for this cache while walking back home from the early-morning BBC walk on Mt Taylor. It was straightforward finding the final coordinates at the waypoint and straightforward finding the cache at the GZ. I was surprised that it was five months since the last visitor as this is an easy cache, not far from a road and both waypoint and cache were right on the nominated coordinates.
I liberated the travel bug PC717X which has been languishing in the one spot for far too long!
Thank you borderloop for the cache. The way in which the final coordinates are stored at the waypoint is quite clever!

#4743 - 16:10; Decided to do a few caches on the lower slopes of Mount Taylor and after finding a convenient park, off I went on what turned out to be a less than straight forward caching run. I was back on a roll by the time I reached the posted coords for this cache and quickly had the information to proceed to GZ, where I really enjoyed a quick find and sign after my earlier experiences in the area. Dropped a TB to continue its travels with the next finder. TFTC borderloop
A nice easy find but a bit smelly with a kangaroo carcass just 5m away. TFTC[8d]
Another day of caching for us (love being on holidays!) and today took us back to Mount Taylor to grab the caches we missed last time we were here. The Woofer was excited to come with us today and encountered a few roo friends (one giant dead one included!) and got some more "Cache Hunting" practice. We found some incredibly cool caches today...well worth the blisters.
This one was a really easy find, but the waypoint was such a unique idea! The dead roo mentioned above was discovered near GZ. Glad it's not Summer. :-/

Decided to go out geocaching today and this was the first on my list. Quick and easy find. And a perfect place for a little walk. TFTC
Came out for a wander on the lower western slope of Mt Taylor this morning after dropping off the geo-teen. Found the well placed information at waypoint 1 and then headed on past a few mid morning mugglers to GZ. Had no trouble finding it.
Congratulations on your primo primoshpere cache. It's a cracker.
Cheers

Sunday 3 April 2016 - a magnificant Autumn afternoon in the mid twenties with a few clouds across the deep blue sky and no breeze. Found 6 caches in about 2.5 hours of bike riding and bush walking. Great mid waypoint cache idea worth a favourite point. Thx p2p. TFTC.
Found @ 5:06pm
WP1 was very neat!
I looked up "there" with a torch but couldn't see anything so didn't check with my hand (gloved of course!) until I eventually resorted to the hint.
The coords were spot on for the cache.
Thanks borderloop, a favourite for me!

F(H)ound it!
I really shouldn't have done that without my glove on, goes against all of the geocaching guidelines (and common sense). However I did. Did it before I thought about any consequences and luckily I was rewarded with the coordinates (and not a sting, like I got at a previous Mt Taylor cache). Met a couple walking their spaniels back on the track. I don't want to know what they thought I was doing in the shrubbery. Sorry about your fridge, a bit of ethanol should get it off . Thanks for the cache 5Powells

Following another failed attempt at Workout 101, I returned to the car via the caches on the NW slopes of Mt Taylor. The WP was soon found, and the cache easily found. A clever WP. TFTC.

Did some caching around Pearce today with injuryman
Specifically mount Taylor
Unfortunately we did not have time to find them all but we will be back!
On the upside, injuryman reached the milestone of 1000 cache finds!

Well that is certainly a different sort of waypoint, haven't seen one like that before. Very convenient, once you actually find it that is! First find of the day, doing some caches around the edge of Mt Taylor.

#867 5 of 13 today.
I thought it was about time to visit Mt Taylor after many years.
I started looking around for this one without much to show for it, so I decided it was lunchtime. So replenished, I recommenced my search. With the aid of my latest caching tool - a mirror on a stick, I found the described label and extracted the way point info. So now off to a quick find at gz which was a very short distance away. FP for effort.

I was back again for round two of after work geocaching around Mount Taylor. I wasn't feeling as energetic as yesterday so I was in the mood for a reasonably easy stroll along a couple of tracks.
Fist stop was this one. After extracting WP1 for the coords for GZ, I was off. Wasn't long after reaching GZ cache was in hand in a jiffy
Signed log and replaced the torn log bag with a new one as I was carrying spares
Thanks for the neat multi, borderloop

I had a couple of spare hours this afternoon and was down in Kambah so decided to go for a walk and pick up a few caches. This was the first stop and after finding the sneaky waypoint, the final was no problems. Thanks borderloop
#536. 140 days in a row.
Found this one on my way to Woden for the evening. I'd picked a quick cache due to the inclement weather and ended up with a slight sprinkle over me while I was getting to it.
The waypoint hide was a little better hidden than I was expecting, but I found it and was glad I took a torch with me. GZ was a very simple find.

Today my friend and I had a nice afternoon walk around the foothills of Mt Taylor to do some caches. This was the first one for the day.
We parked nearby and made our way over to WP1. We had to be a bit cautious as we were only wearing thongs (forgot to bring shoes! ). We arrived at WP1 and spotted the object with the coordinates. Neat little mechanism! I dialled in the coordinates and after a short walk to GZ the cache was found quickly. I signed my name, took the TB and continued onto the next cache.
Our thanks to borderloop.

One of three found with Elektra48 on an early (ish) morning caching run. Loved the mechanism for obtaining the final GZ - very nifty indeed! A short walk then to the GZ and an easy find. Nicely short multi - just the thing for a warm morning! Thanks borderloop!
TFTC- found on a caching run with AngelG27 earlyish before it got too hot. Took us a couple of minutes to find the first way point, but were very impressed with it when we did. Very cool. GZ was an easy find after that. Thanks!
Found at 1755. Only a couple more days left to fill in P366, and while searching the map for tonight's playground a couple in the area caught my eye. I usually avoid multis when looking for a quick find, but this one seemed straightforward enough so it became my first target.
As I headed to WP1 I was intercepted by a large dog who wasn't going to let me pass without saying hello; after wiping the slobber off my hand I followed a convenient geotrail and a short search (and a quick swish with a stick to clear an accumulation of spiderwebs) later had a new set of coordinates.
The walk to GZ was uneventful and the cache quickly found. I signed the log and dropped off the Pac-Man TB as I wasn't sure when I'd next find a container this big, then made sure the cache was properly covered and headed on my way. Thanks for the cache borderloop.

Thought I'd duck out for a stroll tonight to grab a couple of caches, and since it wasn't a long stroll decided to grab a multi.. very nifty hide at WP1, good to see something out of the ordinary to obtain the coordinates.. shoes got very wet stomping about in the dark to GZ, but well worth it.. thanks a lot!
A clever cache hide and way point.
We loved our run in this area today, and this was a chance to pick up another cache along the way.
Thanks bordeloop,

Last cache on a very enjoyable day of caching on Mt. Taylor on my birthday. Loved the WP marker. Great cache and a fav point from me!
We found ourselves nearby this one after a meet and greet for a new client close by. Headed to posted coordinates, collected the information and then headed off in the direction of the local skippy's. Quick grab at GZ, nice stroll,

Lunchtime walk time again. Today I'm taking a chance. My leg is hurting, but I reckon I can walk off the problem. Ok, pottering slowly along, following flatter and easier ground, I'm at the first waypoint. OK, got your tag (the numbers on it could do with a touch-up), and off to GZ. My leg is feeling a bit better, great!! Found the cache, signed the log, and now for a leisurely walk back. Thanks for this one, it's a great little walk. And my leg was better by the time I finished - I've managed to walk off whatever the problem was.
First for the afternoon with Geokids and dog and Sitehounder and her geohelpers. Nice day for a cache. TFTC. TNLN.
Found on a circuit of Mt Taylor. Nice to not have to walk to far to the second point. TFTC.
Baja15 and I came down for the Event and grab a couple of caches. The weather turned out quite nice considering all the rain we been having. Interesting WP1 and a quick find at GZ. TFTC
Found in company while visiting Canberra for the maker madness event. We set our sights on several caches that turned out to be a bit of a challenge. After geting the required numbers from a well hidden wpt 1,we were soon at GZ signing the log. SLTN..TFTC
I've been wanting to do this one for ages. It just sounded interesting. A day filled with beautiful sunshine and a geocahcing itch that need to be scratched and I set off along the path to find. I found everything easily, although I admit I'd taken a glove with me as I'd read the clue and was a bit worried. The cache contents are a little damp.
Thanks for the fun little wander borderloop.

Day 298; cache 298. loved WP1 and lovely afternoon walk with the family. TFTC!
2013: 298 Days In A Row - This cache is one of those we drive past regularly, and the GPS keeps alerting us that it's there, but we've just never tried to find. Well today we cross this one off the list! Fraggles got a surprise at WP1 and we appreciated the idea and hide! Nice work! It was then a stroll over to GZ where the geokid quickly found the cache. We recently over stocked his swap bag with new toys, so this cache is now full of swaps. Thanks for the fun cache!
Loved the waypoint marker, very clever. A quick find at GZ on a gorgeous winter morning - shining sun, no wind or clouds, truly glorious. TFTC!

This was the seventeenth find on a nice day spent caching. Made my way up to WP1 not knowing what to expect. A nice little hide there and then a quick grab at GZ. TFTC borderloop!
Loved this one. Nearly gave up but glad we persisted. I had my 4month old plus my sister and her husband and their 5 week old and their 4 year old and our mum. Our second find and we are hooked!
Nice idea at WP1. Used a stick in a few spidery places. The writing may need refreshing at some stage, but is still readable. A short stroll to GZ (how did that get past the reviewer?) to find the cache.
Thanks
