Cache has been removed unfortunately due to the new works, which is a pity, as it was no where near the ponds themselves!

17-Mar-12
Looked everywhere but no luck big maintenance programme happening wondering if cache is covered with the new rocks and garden.

07-Dec-11
Wondering if the extended security fence has cut off access to the cache?

05-Nov-11
Well Ms Geo found it. Damn you Phillip.

Sad Same as last poster... No success

Hmmm I found that Lawson was indeed false. I am still confused though.

28-Sep-11
A good park to stop for lunch or just to have a break. A bit of work going on at the pond but dos not affect the cache itself, it was raining when I was there so no muggles around could see this one being quite busy on a weekend though.

Orange 11. I had so given up on this one. Huge puddles every where and the GPS not settling at all. I think I was just looking in random spots when I found this one. Amazing ! Thanks.

Love a good cryptic challenge! A beautiful day in the park.

24-Aug-11
Found it! Big Grin There were plenty of muggles out on this warm spring like day. Lucky for me there are plenty of markers with tree names to look at Razz. Lucky I read the clue because I would have tried to get onto the island too! Graet clues! SL TFTC

Geo-Mum & Son tried twice for this one with iPhone and failed. Geo Dad came up trumps with GPS even though the co-ords are off. Its all in the Description...TFTC well done.

26-Jun-11
Judging from previous logs it is not inside the fenced area but I couldn't get the coords to stack up with any likely hiding spot outside the perimeter.... Next time perhaps

14-May-11
Didn't get this one on Sat. due to the face that everything around where it is is fenced off while they do repairs, you probably need to check on your cache as it may be moved.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one! Very smart. Tftc

Haha I enjoyed the clue on this one, very nice. Love Cook Park, especially just as Autumn is turning. Nearby coconut slice isn't bad either Wink Curious about what happened to the older cache here? Thanks for keeping Cook Park on the Geocaching map Wink

Smile Walked around for a little but found it in the end. Good hide. Coordinates a bit off tho.

An interesting find to start the day after a celebration in Orange.
Many thanks for the puzzle, although it had me scratching my head for a while!

02-Apr-11
There's a recently-erected fence that, if we believe our GPS, surrounds the cache's location. It carries a sign saying that work will finish around the end of 2011. Might be wise for somebody else to check in case we misled ourselves, though.

Hmmm, with a GPS firmly pointing 11mtrs into a duck pond, we decided that was not a good idea and looked in really the only other easy place it could be, easy find then.

Cheers

Nice easy find with the clue, no clue and coords would see you on the island, lucky we had the clue, thanx !

A return trip to this one as the last time the park was full of muggles and no searching could be done. It is a nice park to wander about in so all was not lost.
Today there were a few muggles having a late lunch but it was only 5 or so minutes and they left. With the description read many times while waiting, it turned out to be an easier find than I was expecting.
As I walked back to the gate a bus pulled up and about 20 kids got off with their lunch bags and headed for the picnic tables, so I timed it just right for once.

An easy not so quick find today. Arrived just as a bus load of kids turned up and had to wait for them to leave before making the find. Both GPS's still indicated that the prize is inside the fenced off area but as the CO says it is in the description.

Nice to see a new cache in this park. The archived "Guns and Roses' that was previously in Cook Park was one of my favourites. This one proved to be quite easy in the end if you just follow the clues. I do enjoy a cache that requires searching for clues as well as the container. TFTC

Another nice cache here in orange, my second for the day

First find with my I phone.

I was excited to find this cache with my new toy, turned on the app and there was a close by cache. Took me within 2 m and had a nice quick find.

This is a very nice park. Reminds us of a park where we have a cache too.

This one is obviously inside the fenced off area. Not sure this is within the guidelines while the area is down for maintenance. Perhaps this one needs disabling until the temporary fence comes down.

15-Feb-11
No the cache is not in the fenced off area and therefore does not need to be disabled. Re-read the description for the clues.

I don't know if the coordinates are out or if it was just my gps but I did have a good time trying to find it.
