The structure at Ground Zero has been replaced and will not allow the same hide as previous. Will have to have a rethink on another hide worth leaving here.
This one is absolutely great! Definitely going on the favourite list. This one I found PURELY by accident. But once I did notice this interesting feature I KNEW it just had to be how the cache was hidden. Great way to finish the day.

Woo hoo! Definitely a tricky one...a really different spot which was awesome!
Nice little hide - took a while to find, but it's good to see something different! TFTC.
looking for something else ...... elsewhere....... oh!!! clever sl.tnln.TFTC.
I saw the frisbee "hole" next to the croaky patch and recognised it straight away. Used to play disc sports including frisbee golf and ultimate when I was at Uni.

Not often in the area, this cache sounded familiar to me, so I wandered over. I now realise it's because it's one of the few Brisbane caches listed on another site I look at sometimes.
There were two young muggles playing basketball today and they weren't too interested in me.
My first scan of the GZ revealed some places I thought would make excellent hides, but nothing appeared. I then went through the motions of checking a few places I was pretty sure it wouldn't be, before realising I had forgotten about one particular set of surfaces. Back I went, and bingo! Up it came. What a great design and well hidden, in an interesting and well-equipped park. A Fave point from me, and thanks for not putting it in the middle of Croaky Hollow!

Was out and about introducing a family member to the sport today. As I walked up to the GZ I read through the previous logs I thought this may not be such a good intro cache. Looked here and there. followed the hint and the old logs with no luck. Then my non caching relative suggested somewhere and looked, "is this what we are looking for' as she handed me the cache Clever little hide. TFTC
With a few kilometres clocked up on the pushie this morning it was time for a break [:o]
I guess I picked the right place
30 minutes after arriving I was still here
There was no way that this cache was still in place !!
But the previous finders logs were annoying me.
Something just wasn't adding up [?]
Unlikely as it seemed,
this cache has survived for over a year and has had 68 finds.
The last one only two weeks ago !
Dammit !! There's nowhere left to look [:(!]
That does it !!
I threw my empty fizzy cola can into the bin,
Strapped on me bike helmet,
and popped me sunnies back on
Just before I hopped back on the bike a light bulb went on above me head
Oooh !! That's just damn sneaky !!

It is a large park and we almost got caught on top of the table by a muggle with a pusher. Fortunately, we had just got down (didn't do us any good anyway). Nearly looked everywhere, until we thought of something different. Nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
From the logs this one looked a tricky little one to find. A muggle pushing a pram caught us off guard but once she left the area Rob had an idea and it worked a treat.

This cache has mocked me for over 12 months, so much so I avoided it the last time when I was playing footy caches in the area. Having found myself under the cover of darkness and in the area I decided a torchlight raid could disclose additional information.
So it was aI looked and looked, seems the torch was not going to be useful afterall. Mind you not having muggles on the play equipment at least gave me time to look and thing. I'm not sure why i did what I did but it at least got me on the right mindset. That said i still had to look in a few different places before the rewards were disclosed Love your work [^]

Looked high and low for about 15 mins before giving up when we got muggle-infested.
Having left the geo-mobile for a winch to be fitted what better way to pass the time than peddling around picking up the odd cache here and there, especially when it meant going from park to park.
Agree with previous finder about the location. I just put it back where I found it, but that special aspect of the cache container bothered me too.

First day of a new month, and my slide towards OZ MEGA next weekend continues. Nine hundred and something finds so far, should slide in with ease to the one thousandth being the MEGA.
And what a beautiful morning to be outside caching. Fresh from smashing 300 in March I hot the roads this morning, via my favourite coffee shop, and soon arrived here. Today's goal is to clear the northwest closest two dozen unsmiling boxes off the map.
Coffee now complete, onto the sixth cache of the day, and to utilise the trash bins. Easily found the GZ, and there on the ground was the cache. All was fine with it, not muggled it seems, but I could not work out where to return it. The container had a characteristic that I could not utilise.
I rehid it up high in the best spot I could manage for it - but I doubt that's what was intended. Recommend a maintenance check.

Had the place to myself, so I was able to search up, down and all around..... but nothing!!
Ended up using my PAF option, and with a little nudge, a bit more searching and head scratching, I finally found something I hadn't considered.
Very clever indeed!! thanks Eco & Rev, FP from me.

Ok, this one had us searching!!! We need we were spot on, but were still riled by our last muggle encounter. Stopped, calmed down, and quickly had in hand. Tftc
Out on Australia day caching on the bike.
No one around so I had time to search. I looked high then low then over here and under there then something moved and I laughed as I found the cache...nasty.

Geotoddlers were enjoying the playground in the light rain while we searched for this one. We heard the audible clue others had mentioned and had the right idea, but when the rain became heavier we gave up and left the park. We were almost home when Hubby made a suggestion and we decided to go back for me to search again while he waited in the car with the kids. Sure enough, there it was! Why had I not thought of that before when we had the right spot, just the wrong side.
This was an awesome cache! Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and lovely park. Definitely needed the extraction tool (Hubby thought it quite hilarious when I got it out of my handbag to take in). TFTC.

Perfect morning for a bike ride. Arrived at the GZ and on a quick scan didn't come up with the goods. but with a little bit more of a search I quickly had the cache in hand. The cache is in good condition. TFTC P.S this puts me in the 300 Club.
Found it!!, looked here yesterday morning and had been spot on but eyes did not see what I was looking for, friend, muggle, now interested in Geocaching, found it when we had another better look. Nice sneaky hide. TFTC
Find #109. Found 27/11/2011 @3:15:00 PM.
Not knowing the area particularly well, we started off by parking in the local sports club grounds - which was full despite no sport being played. But then we realised we were on the wrong side of the creek, so we rectified that quickly enough. Took a short stroll to the apparent GZ, but there certainly wasn't anywhere obvious. Then luck found us when a certain object made a noise. Cache was quickly located after that. A lovely, tricky little hide.

This one almost got me and it was only by accident that I found it in the end. TFTC and challenge!
I've had this one on the watchlist since my DNF last February . Like last time, I arrived very late at night, so no problems with the mini muggles. Of course, hanging around parks at midnight has it own muggle problems, but this park apparently isn't one of those parks . Had a bit of luck early in the search, so had the cache in hand in no time at all [^]. Signed the log and smiled at the thought of so many muggles sitting in this shelter unaware of what is so close .
Muggles muggled on in and cleared me off today.
Apparently they're entitled to be there. Pfffft!

A very sneaky hide now! Was scouting for caches with the family when both kids fell asleep in the car. Since I'd already done this one in original form, I sat in the car with the kids while Palopinto went to find it. Unfortunately, she came back empty handed, so I had to go and check out the new hide. Took me a couple of minutes before hearing a little clue, and it was in about the fourth place I looked after that. I'd say this is more than a D1.0 now. Coordinates were absolutely perfect, too.
Went back to tell Palopinto that, yes, it was in fact still there, but she decided we needed to move on, and will no doubt return another day. Well done, Eco & Rev, I like this one -- I think it's better than the original! [^]

An excellent hide in a wonderful park! We were able to occupy GZ quite successfully, with only two groups of muggles nearby and both intent on playing. My GPSr was playing nice and had me spot on, so after looking in the usual places, I started to think outside the box and eventually came up with the goods. It seems to have become slightly dislodged from the attachment, although it didn't much impeded me rehiding the cache. Really enjoyed walking back through the park, it looks like it would be a lot of fun, though I doubt my frisbee-throwing skills are up to the challenge. And no frogs made an appearance today - perhaps I should return at twilight one day? TFTC, Eco & Rev. =^.^=
Wow this one really threw me today. I was visiting a friends grandmother when i checked my phone for nearby caches... Oh there are two nearby awesome! First one was quick second one... this one... not so quick.. looked where i thought gz was... nothing. Friend suggested another location... Nope. After at least half an hour our stomachs were grumbling and we decided to go to the nearby shops for lunch. Stopped at the gz on the way back. "Maybe there is a problem with my gps today?" Made our search bigger. Nothing. Asked people on facebook to help out. One comment which didn't set off any lightbulbs. "Ok i've had enough maybe it has been muggled." ... WAIT ... What about?? Yep there it was. Once again i had a "Why didnt i think of that earlier moment. Thanks for the cache but not the headache
We Followed the trusty GPS to the Cache, and when we got there some drunk people were there so we could not search properly.
I'll come back next time.
I'll come back next time.
Second attempt as a muggle lady sat down watching her children playing on the play equipment. Came back at dark with torch. Found where not expecting. Have not seen this type of cache before. TNLN TFTC Thanks Eco & Rev
This one had me going for a while. Luckily it was a quiet morning to allow a thorough search. Then I noticed something that moved I wasn't expecting. Signed Log.

Thanks
I had strolled from the shopping centre car park to find a muggles and her young'un playing nearby. I sat down at the table and the young one made comments about "What's that man doing?" to his mum. Mum decided it was time to leave and I had to wait for the final swing and ride on the rocker before they moved away.
I then had a chance to search. The spider's webs told me the places that it wasn't so that narrowed it down. I bumped something which gave me an idea where to search and I then soon had the cache. I signed the log and looked up to see other muggles approaching but they were still far enough away for me to be able to replace the cache.
A different type of hide which I have not experienced in Australia. TFTC.

Thought I was going to have to leave this one. There was a family having a picnic nearby. I wandred round the GZ with phone in hand trying not to look overly strange (well no more strange than usual). Wandered closer to put my pack down and found the cache by accident. Great hide TFTC
great spot, the frisbee game looks interesting. lots of playground equipment for young and old kept the toddlers and teens amused whilst I searched.
We had run out of ideas of places to check when the littlest geokid suggested one more spot and there it was. The other kids were off have a great time on the teenager playground. We'll have to return with frisbees sometime. TFTC
Pity we didn't have any frisbees with us. The course looks like fun. I've never seen something like this before. At GZ I was searching one spot when the youngest grandchild inadvertently touched something which instantly caught my eye and Hey Presto! I liked the hide. Thanks Eco & Rev.
Our first find while on our Australian holiday. sneaky hide, was only a sheer fluke we found it.
Well, i finally got a chance to come back to the area and grab this one that i DNF'd back in Feb. With the park to myself again, i sat down on the seat and looked around for a while. Mmmm......i wonder? [?] Yay.....a cache. Nice hide. TFTC Eco & Rev
Had the park to myself this morning. Spent 10 minutes searching high, low and in between. Then just by accident I noticed something a bit different and there it was. Very tricky. Probably worth more than 1 difficulty. Loved it.

Now after having completed a great day out on the geocycle this was to be the final cache to clean out the area. However it was not to be as thre were several muggle kids at play and the parents did not take to kindly to a sus cyclist checking out the area.

Caching with Kaisho53, we wandered into GZ and commenced out hunt. We ruled out the obvious hiding holes early and figured the Redbacks would have been unlikely cache guardians. We hunted for a little longer and covered the remainder of GZ but were still empty handed... I moved position to check a couple of last options and nudged something with my shoulder... Hmm, could it be... [?] Yep, it could... That is a clever hide... [^]

829 - Decided to grab this cache on our way out to the North Pine Country markets for some morning tea. After checking all of the logical spots, Brissy Guy Junior tried something different, which revealed a well hidden cache. Great spot Eco & Rev. Log still in great condition.
A very tricky little hide! Took some time for a muggle family to finish their playtime and move away and I was then able to get to GZ. They were still close by so I didn't want to be too obvious in my searching. My brief search yielding nothing however so I sat and pondered and they once again returned. Then came one of those lightbulb moments - I wonder if... This time they cleared off further and yup, there was the cache. Very neat. I have really enjoyed the series and it was a lovely tour of the area. Thanks Eco & Rev

Cache had been muggled although my checker told me it hadn't initially becasue he checked the wrong one. Decided to replace in close by location that shlould draw less attention from busy little hands. Please make sure it is attached back in its new home.
The temporary unavailable log wasn’t there when I set up this trip otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. Like others before me I couldn’t find it. Think that the horses may have got hungry and eaten it!

How embarassing I did not know this cache was here until I saw a mention about on my Geocaching.com.au updates this morning. I was flabbergasted how I missed it. Decided to grab it on the way home today. GZ was inhabited by muggles when I arrived. I sat about 120m away for 15 minutes while I waited for them to move along. Soon they left and I had the park to myself. I found the cache after a small hunt. It is in good condition. I understand some other's concerns about these hides.. I, being in my mid-30s and a male by himself must look mega-creepy Nevertheless, it is something we have to contend with A nice park indeed. TFTC mandrleam
Well, when the notification email comes through 30 mins after I start work for the day, I was absolutely sure that I would not get an FTF. Later in the day, Nearra sends me a msg that if there are no logs after work, he & Guccigal would pick me up on their way. Problem was I had a Parent/Teacher appointment. I told Nearra I wouldnt be able to make it, then later on I got a msg from my son that I would have to pick him up from his girlfriends house..... which just happened to be nearby to this cache.... well since I would HAVE to be in the area, I thought I'd stop by and grab the new cache anyway.... Wouldnt you know it, there was an empty logbook staring at me..

Mr vwnuts, if there's anything left of you when Nearra and Guccigal are finished with you... I'm next in line Like them, I saw no logs when I got back to Strathpine after work, and headed off to this cache. I soon spotted a couple of suspicious looking folks trekking through the park with handheld devices... and intercepted Nearra and Guccigal on their way back from the cache. After a brief chat we parted ways and I soon had the cache in hand. Third to find, less than an hour late and my run of FTFs is broken.
TFTC, mandrleam, Nice hide, I admit to using the clue after being told it was "easy" but finding nothing in the wrong obvious spot. The hint was checked and the cache was found in seconds. And it was good to meet Nearra (again) and Guccigal. [^]
