plenty of likeley places for this gc but after reading logs and no find decided to give a miss but thanks for taking us to this park a place we would never of visited
Had a decent look in every nook and cranny for this one. Considering there are other DNF I think this cache is missing.
Gotcha. Beautiful spot. TFTC. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.
18/02/2014 14:58 Find #2407 . A quick find in a very nice park but as previous finders have noted, some maintenance is urgently needed

Yay! Nice easy one. Or just lucky. Found a pink button - taking to next cache with me.
Found it. Number 2 however no pen or pencil to fill in log book with. So I must remember to take one with me next time.
We found this one which was our second find. Secure and in good condition.
found this one too awhile ago i must say i didnt like being the one to get it would of prefered hubby to
Nice! Had to drop off some paper work nearby - thought I should check the geocache situation. There was one close by. All in good order - TFTC!!
A nice afternoon for a cache in the park. Co-ordinates were spot on. Thanks for the cache
while working in the area i nipped out at lunch and grabbed this one, nice quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

We are Inspired to continue caching now!!

Another brick in the wall great cache good hide caching well and truly alive in the country
love this park! We were to b married here under the big tree near the fountain 14 years and 2 months ago cept it decided to pour with rain. We still got married but sadly not in the park
This park is the hidden gem of Burnie IMHO. I have walked past the cache most days for four years and until starting this pursuit yesterday would never have thought to give the spot a arcing thought. Got it in way to work as some of us have to on Easter Monday so thought might as well grab one on the way.
I am so glad it was deserted here today as I searched nearly all the feature at GZ before spotting the anomoly. The roses in white, pink and red were lovely. TFTC.
This was our 6th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 12:42
So this now makes our total find count 5986.
[blue]
We enoyed the stroll along the path & the cache was easily found.
We also thought that this would be a great place to eat our lunch.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks davedidit for the hunt today.

No luck, nothing obvious! Extended search and still nothing. If you want a cache to be found, perhaps a hint would be good.
A quick find while getting oil for the car in Burnie

A nice relatively easy find. One thing though. Be careful when you say "no hint because the seasoned cacher won't have a problem". Not only is that making as assumption that your coordinates are spot on and will be for every finder, you're also essentially saying "only those that know what they are doing are to find my cache"
On this occasion the coordinates were a bit out for me and I found it by checking a wide circle
Thanks for the cache

Many thanks to davedidit,
This was our 8 of 19 for todays cache hunt, Find number 1477 at 2:53:00 PM.
We are here in Tassy, hunting down your caches. This is our first time here and the weather here is fantastic, just a tad chilly. Please keep an eye out for us and come and say hi, we won't bite.
A nice easy find, noticed in the last log that it was a uniformed police log.
It was in the open so we put itout of site.

Out and about In Tassie for a few weeks on holidays collecting caches. Once we found a parking spot it then was quick find because it was out in the open. A great area, thanks for bringing us here.

after taking the wrong road, we looped around and found the right way in.
Great wee hidden park. Cache was harder to find, as WP had us up on the left side first, before retracing and pacing in again.

Have been advised that this cache may have been muggled by the Police. It has been returned to its location. Could somebody please check this cache to ensure it is in the correct place and also check the nearby puzzle cache (more likely the puzzle cache had been found by TasPol). I cant remember what the name of the puzzle cache is....
Found today while visiting the park with my kids. Was hidden in a great spot. Kids loved it. Took nothing and left a bean. Thanks!
A nice park area, took me a little longer to find than it should have. Should have looked more carefully the first time. thanks davedidit

geo kid a, geo kid i and myself left at 5.21 on a frog raid to north west, and north tasmania. our goal was simple, to liberate the frogs from this region and bring them to civilisation
we were successful though most of the north west, only missing a few frogs that had been captured by local cachers on the previous day.
In all we liberated over 25 frogs back to below the border - or at least the imaginary mason dixon line.......
all frogs will be released back to the wild tomorrow.
we also found a number of normal caches, this one was included.
Anyway here is my log signature
Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day
Da- Glumpf went the little Green frog
Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day
And the frog went Glumpf Glumpf Glumpf
But we all know frogs go "La de da de da"
"La de da de da"
"La de da de da"
We all know frogs go "La de da de da"
They don't go glumpf glumpf glumpf
