I will be moving away from the area soon so I think it is best that archive any caches as they start needing maintenance.

Not sure why previous finders didn't log this. The container is in need of replacement.
Wish I would have read the previous logs before getting to GZ. Found the bracket for where the container should have been and a lot of ash. Will be logging a maintenance log for future visitors to the area.
Found with the geofam yesterday all burnt out. Thanks to the photos of the cache in tact we were able to (partially) recognise the shape. Very sad, but pleased the trackable can now continue its journey with rovinravens.
Found this baby but sadly all burnt out with my geo family there is now no cache here until owner puts a new 1 here we salvaged the trackable a great story for it
A sad yet lucky find here. This poor cache was found burnt out. The trackable has been located and rescued, not much to read other than the number though. A few other charred items were also salvagable. All these items will remain together and will be placed in another cache to continue their journey.
Nalezeno v pohodě, díky za kešku. Pozdrav z České republiky.
Found a cool, thanks for the cache. Greetings from Czech Republic.

**Smilie #3821**
After a bit of a slow (& late) start to today we decided to pick the pace up a bit & round up a few smilies.
Where to go?
Hmmm?
There are still quite a few we haven't looked at on the north side.
Done deal, we're headed north!
A novel cache idea.
Quickly found.
All good with the cache.
Signed & replaced as found.

It's not exactly where the gps will take you and you're not looking for a black bag and container anymore. Look at the clue, it's >10m away. Happy hunting!
Cache has now had a good spring clean. All the mouldy and rusty toys / trinkets have now been removed. Cache was cleaned out, log sheet replaced and pencil left along with quite a few swaps for kids. All is great with this little hide now. The first cache for us on our day out in Deception Bay. Thanks Treking Trev!
With only a handful of caches left in this area to find, I made my way here to pick up a smiley. Found container quickly enough. Drained water from container and signed log that was damp but was generally in good condition. Returned as found. In spite of being just metres from a busy highway, was surprised at how discreet and secluded the location was. CITO. TFTC TT.

Tree canopy interfering with the compass did not present a challenge thanks to this easy find. Good thing the log was double bagged and not too damp. Tftc
Hi there Treking Trev. We found your cache "Shafted" at 10:24:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11582.
[Blue]
Today we started off at a random cache and navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest. We ended up logging 9 and DNF'd 1.
When we found this one, it wasn't anything like the cache description.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 10m NW from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Due to family commitments, we had one week without geocaching. So today we went out to get some more smilies, accompanied by my Lone Reindeer and Colorado as Harry Hamster with Ellie Elefant had been dropped off before.
We pass this spot very often ... and always said: "there is one" , but today we took the time.

Out with Zardecoh for a few hours today A leisurely short walk brought us to GZ, and the hint made it an easy find. Nice container. TFTC, Treking Trev.
Out for another lovely morning caching with IolantheK. Once we were at the right spot it was easy to see. TFTC!!
Spent the day with Konie, and we headed down to cache around the Redcliffe area.
We found a good variety of hides, while driving around the beaches.
With the weather being a bit cool, most areas were muggle free.
Cache was found after a short search, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Treking Trev, for us and others to find.

Found it while wandering around, keeping an eye out for kangaroos! See previous logs! GPS wandering a bit but spotted the cache & signed the log TFTC
TFTC 1403# out and about with Tmckenzie91the hint is so true a fav from me
Another quick find with GrannySmith1947, followed the hint and the tips left by previous finders. TFTC
We found it as we were walking out. The contents were water damaged and the bag was disintergrating. We put the contents back without the bag so please make sure the tube is returned upside down to reduce any chance of water getting in.
Placement was very clever. The description needs updating as I was looking for a black bag that now doesn't exist
Opening the container was the really hard part though.
TFTC!

We got out and there was about 10 Kangaroos so we didn't approach. It was pretty dense bushland so we decided not to.
Another good cache close to home. A little damp inside but still functional. Thanks.
Tall grass, soggy, last cache had a snake a few k's down the road! Wimped out......!
A quick find I seem to recall. Thanks
Off to Noosa today, plenty of heavy rain [s]showers[/s] downpours.
Found on a trip to OZ for the Stanthorpe MEGA. It is all about the numbers this trip, Ms KR decided to stay in NZ!
Thanks for the hide.

Nice walk in the bush. Tipped out water. Contents damp but ok. Thanks Trev. See you at Stanthorpe. TYFTC
Just visited Jim and Gran at the memorial gardens and popped in to the cache on the way out. Jim particularly would have been interested in this extra little adventure. Hope he will enjoy his new waterfront location.
As others before, took the higher terrain route in and the easy path out.
Well constructed cache although no longer fits the description. Very wet inside - tipped water out but contents quite soggy. Log dry in its bag though.

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 16, Redcliffe, second full day.
Mum's wanting to sort out her house prior to selling up and moving. I seem to be the bunny to help her. I've done most of my bit for the day - put the washing on, put a pile of papers beside her easy chair for her to sort while I'm out caching, and I've put the emergency call button on her wrist. I've now collected the GeoSchnauzers, gallons of ice water, my caching kit, and my hat. It's a hotter and sunnier day than yesterday, so I'm going to be doing more driving and less walking than yesterday, but it won't be a park and drive day. We're going to Burpengarry. When I was last there, it was a nice creek, park and picnic spot. As you can imagine, this was a while ago!!
No 2 of 16 today. Thanks, Treking Trev. I got a chuckle out of this cache - nice construction. The dogs and I had another short, hot walk.

Found today while visiting my Nana at the nearby graveyard. Very easy to locate with my 2 friends.
Today, klettercache and me were driving from Redcliffe to Hervey Bay. Reservation for the next hostel was already made in advance and therefore, we had enough time to find some caches along our way. We found, that weather is improving from day to day, coming from the South towards the North. Today, it was already getting hot for us and we were really glad that we have rented an air conditioned car.
This cache was placed along our way and we headed for it. It could easily be found. We have logged as "schabenheini & klettercache" and then we continued our long way to Hervey Bay.
Thanks to the owner for placing and maintaining this cache.

I have found this cache today together with my dad "schwabenheini". Thanks for hiding it.
Grass a little overgrown but geocousin found without too much trouble. Contents a little wet. TFTC
Black bag gone. But otherwise as described. A bit wet inside. Ziplock bag is compromised.

Parked nearby and followed the power line track in to the GZ. We had to search for a while before we located the sturdy looking container, several metres away from where the GPS was keen to take us. Thanks Treking Trev for this hide.
After getting some reports that the cache was wet I checked this cache today It was a bit damp so I clean it up and replaced the log book with a temp one, and placed all the content in a zip lock bag hopefully that should keep the water away from the contents and log. TFTC.
Found It! 3rd for today!! Bit wet on the inside. Small child getting into these treasure hunts!! YAY!!
Took me an age to get the lid off, only discover that the rain had no such trouble TFTH
A quick find as I headed south to the airport today. No sign of any spare GPS and made sure I didn't leave mine!
Nice hide TT.

Love this game so much fun took a while but u got it. Hardy fam hits again. On a roll
Nice easy find today. Thinking like Trev I approached this one with confidence. Fortunately my time of the day (late afternoon) made it a relatively muggle-free zone; a welcome change.
Given that there hasn't been any rain of late I could almost have driven up to teh GZ - but that wouldn't be in the spirit of the game on this occasion.
Container and contents are all in good order but I must confess that when I opened said container I did manage to spray the contents all over the immediate area. Can I tell yah' how hard it is to find a marble in the bush !
