I think this one needs a check. The thing the cache was on may be gone. I thought my algebra had failed me (which would not be a surprise) but I went back to the car to check my maths and i got the same again. Looking at Google Maps imagery GZ looks a little different to what it does now and there is a convenient patch of dirt where I had GZ...
found after a drive down from Sydney, couldn't get the little thing open though tftc
I've been just DYING to see if 'that little magnet' was still there after the picture posted by the previous cacher! (I just couldn't stop laughing at your misfortune, sorry deego_o!).
Yes, it is still there, but I became more understanding when I discovered that, try as I might, I just could NOT get it open! Another year beside the sea has welded it shut, I'm afraid, and it needs a bit of maintenance (a rubber seal, perhaps?).
Thanks for my 3rd smiley before breakfast, pb!

Pretty sure we did all the math probs correctly, arrived at the GZ but only found a magnet and no cache. I think you might need to check this one. I'll upload a pic of the loose magnet to see if it was once part of the cache
dangit we figured out the puzzle but the muggles were right at the geozone, GPS pointed straight towards them. and they definitely weren't leaving yet... maybe another time
Had worked out the GZ on the day this was first published but never had the chance to come up this way. Finally got to GZ and ticked off the cache quickly. Thanks paegle boy.
Mrs 5LittleJacks did the maths, while oldest boy used his smaller size to get the cache while Dad "supervised". TFTC.
This was our 3rd visit to get this one, and I swear it wasn't in that place the first time I looked. Never mind better late than never. TFTC
We spent today being International Caching Day by completing a whole lot assorted caches.
Was out with Frangipani Pixie & Mr. Krfty Charlie.
Love a good micro! TFTC

Got the maths right, not my favourite subject, particularly like the 2X2 question and a nice find eventually after muggles made it difficult a few times.
Nice one PB.

We have spent the weekend completing a whole lot of puzzle caches and this was the final one to get. It was took dark last night to go out and take in the sites of some of our coastline so we waited until today. Yes the views were rewarding and a tiny cache to boot. Thanks PB for the puzzle and a fantastic GZ.
Nightime raid with the Crew (2nd of . My turn to lay first hands on this hide though almost rolled away. Torch light and a lucky gap saved the day... whew!
Got it on an epic caching expedition with The Rats, AH, mizmaz, StumbleTrip, TripHazard & Nashy.

Its great to have some kids with you to search those hard to get at spots, and this was one of them.
Great views, the Illawarra is an under rated piece of Australia, anywhere else and it would a MAJOR tourist attraction.
Thanks pg.

Solved the easy maths problem ages ago and today I could complete the cache.

Cobwebs in the brain, but soon had calculated the coords and looking at a map It seemed OK. Drove up here today and found the blighter. Thanks Paegle boy, that's four of yours today and all quite different. Thanks for all your caches and this one which I did enjoy
After solving the puzzle a while ago today I headed for GZ. Had to wait a bit for a council truck on lunchbreak but then I was fine. Clever to put it here and not further up, less chance of discovery!

The maths for this one was readily solved and GZ calculated. Today at lunch I was able to visit a very pleasant GZ and after a little search had the cache in hand. Only had a permanent marker to sign so have put initials on the log. TFTC!
Year 11 maths must be easier than when I went to school.......
Out for a coastal drive to grab a few caches I was surprised to bump into a work college at GZ, who was also having a day off.
Thanks PB

Lovely view from GZ. My Geogranddaughter (Perth) doing her homework for me but one question so check with PB and fixed for me. Signed the log. Thanks Paegle boy.
Well, I did indeed manage to find this one on the way home, but have been somewhat slack in updating my log. On arrival to GZ I quickly had the container in hand, unrolled the crisplog to see a space marked FF (obviously a label for the First-to-Find - right?). Quietly chuffed with being 'first' I headed back to the car to have the sudden realisation that FF in fact meant FluffyFish! Ah well, congrats FF and thanks PB SL TFTC
Maths is really, really not my thing. So Hoojar was able to excel - which he should given the whole accountancy occupation. Ding and I just came along for the ride, which wasn't that spectacular has he had found the cache before we had jumped out of the car.
Cheers.

Well it is the quick and the dead around here, isn't it!! After remembering that Steeba is on holidays at the moment I thought that we'd really be in with a shot at the FTF. This was especially convenient as I travel to Austinmer every Monday night for Scouts. So I convinced Chip and Ding to come along for the ride. Sadly at 1830 we were already beaten by FluffyFish and BlueMars Oh well, at least we have cleared it off and again have every cache found within 20km of home.
The cache was easy to find, in fact Chip and Ding didn't even make it out of the car before I had my fingers on the prize! This certainly brought back memories of high school maths; it seems an eternity ago but it all comes flooding back when you need it.
Cheers

I'd hate to say PB but the Illawarra caching community seems filled with accountants, engineers and academics. So the puzzle was no problem even though maths is not my strong point (not finding caches is my most prominent talent). So with logs pouring in about the puzzle being solved, the planets aligned and I had an hour to myself. Thinking Steeba already had it but secretly hoping he was trapped in a lift, I made the journey anyway. Once at GZ, I set up camp so as not to make the muggles suspicious. Cache was found fairly quickly and the process of unravelling the log to find out if I was FTF. And I was! YAY! Took ages to re-roll and then popped back in its spot. Then I thought maybe I can sneak another cache in before I am required at home......
BTW PB, don't worry that your caches are easy to find. I cannot solve Steeba's puzzles, find Rats' traditionals, climb well enough to get Hoojar's or meet any of Woody's challenges. So at least I can find yours. And for that I thank you!
