Out to see the tulips, so decided to make it a geocaching adventure too. Found it only in a bag, not sure where the container is. Sealed bag as best I could and put it back where we found it. Found by B. TFTC
A detour while on my way to Invercargill for the night. Nice tree. Found the cache lying in the open. Tipped out a bit of water and tucked it away at the base of the tree.
Went for a walk in the track and decided to go geocaching once we were done, pleasant surprise to find one so close
Found with dakotacats at the end of a lovely day out looking at the nearby tulips. TFTC
4Clubs and I had come down to Edendale to have a look at the fields of tulips. It was late in the afternoon but we thought we might as well do this loop walk while we were here. Only problem was that I hadn't charge my phone all day (and I didn't have a power bank on me) so we started the loop walk on 10% battery. Luckily we found this one quite quickly.
Beautiful spring day, so brought the kids out for a bush walk and a few caches
Found this one right where we expected
TFTC, glad for the pencil as my pen ran out half way

I have gone a bit further afield from Gore today.
I had a nice drive down to the Seaward Downs Reserve to locate this one. I removed the logbook for the "Don't You Feel Small" cache as I was going to replace the container.
Cheers for the cache.

Cache 565 I saw that the CO had been and replaced this cache (Thankyou ️) so it was time to cross another blue sad face off my playing board shot this way quickly after milking this morning and darted in and grabbed the cache, quick find but then again I knew the most likely spot having thoroughly explored this tree last time I here, cache is in brand new condition T4TC
Thoroughly checked the 2 suspect trees once on the way in then on the way out cache appears missing
Spent 15 minutes trying to track down this elusive one..
Friday 6 November. We are off exploring Waituna Lagoon and Seawards Downs today. Its a beautiful sunny day today.

Nice walk in the trees. Pengi found a concerned looking rock though but we left it in place.
A lovely bush to visit I am amazed to find these wee areas with massive trees plonked in the middle of paddocks (tho I think the forest was there first The TB has long gone from this one it's been nearly a year since placed. Thanks so much for showing me and puppa thanks for the good run tftc
Decided that we needed a change of scenery after tea, so into the cache mobile for a drive.
Wasn't dressed appropriately for any further walking so will be back.

We had left Invercargill last night when the wind was howling, we were quite worried that the wind would tip over our campervan and/or trailer. So we decided to head up the island to see if we could get away from the wind.
As we were slowly making our way along I read the New Zealand Motor Home Book and it showed this reserve and it mentioned sheltered. That was the word I needed to hear. We arrived and we were the only people here, three rabbits were not so pleased at their big white neighbour who arrived and they scurried off into the bushes.
We stopped along side the bushes and it was the first time in days that the van has stopped being buffetted by the wind. Oh bliss!.
This morning before breakfast (and before I was awake) GK headed around the loop track t find these three caches. A nice quick find here and all is well with the cache.
Some magnificent trees in this reserve, an area we will remember and come back to if we are ever down this way again.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley.

A new year and as the weather forecast was wrong we headed out for a picnic.
Pleasantly surprised to find this spot empty of any other families.
After our "picnic pie" Saethwr and headed bush while muggly hubby minded the car - as a campervan pulled in just as we headed off. Grabbed this one as they set up right between the two walk entrances.
Thanks for the smilie kryshan.

Virgin cashers and thought as this is are local reserve it would be a great place to start. However couldnt find after a long time looking but could be due to our inexperience rarther than it not being there.
TFTC - beautiful morning for a walk around and finding some more caches trying to grab a couple of souvenirs as well . Thanks for bringing me here
Cach is all good and dry- left a TB

Last one to grab at the reserve. Walked in from the other end and grabbed this one on my way out. Nice big box was soon in hand and I SL. TFTC
After a quick scratch around, we soon found cache. Beautiful day to be out and about
Been a good day to be out caching. Found easily in the end. Thanks for the walk.
We are traveling around New Zealand. We are so glad that we can discover this beautiful country. We enjoy it so much. This cache was found during our travel.
Thank you. Greetings from Czech Republic

I love the many parks and bush areas you have here in Southland. Tonight I visited a few, enjoyed the bush walks and grabbed more caches. I have seen this small cluster of caches each time I visit Edendale for work and tonight I decided to detour and see where they were hiding on the drive home. Nice quick find thanks to the clue. TFTC
Thanks K for replacing cache, was quickly in hand after 10secs. Re-covered waiting for next cacher.
Had a very good look round both the possible trees and no sign apart from an empty beer bottle.(removed and disposed). It's been 6 month since the last find and been muggled once before so could really do with a Cache owner visit.
Hard to believe but we could not find it. There is no reason why it should not be found unless it is gone. We gave up after 10 min but as we found the other two caches, we have to come back the next time we are in Invercargill.
I didn't have this cache loaded onto my GPS and thought this tree would make such a cool hidng spot, I was happily surprised to find this one sitting here already.
Great place for a cache, even better when there are more than one. Thanks for improving this reserve by placing the caches here. Not a spot we would have visited otherwise. SL TFTC.
Had the whole place to myself except for three chickens that followed me around.TFTC.
quick grab to check out the area, will be back for the other 2 soon, ran out of time. SL TFTC
Had a good hunt for this, but we weren't able to find it. Not sure if it is there. Cheers Gav
nice walk with friends, meant to drop off TB and got home and still in bag, opps (6)
Lovely bush walk to pick up this cache. This is a super little haven we have discovered since taking up geocaching.
A quick easy find after lunch in the reserve. There are some large rimus in this area. TFTC
Jogged the track as had been sitting in the car too long. Loved this trial, nice and easy going. Got the other 2 caches on the track as well. TFTC
