We had this one loaded in our GPS. Now noticed that it has been archived.
As doggie owners ourselves, this was on our to do list. Do need to say that it was a very dirty area, so probably the best thing to have this one archived

We know what it looks like( Was told ) but couldn't see it.Think it has gone, and probably has been picked up by a well meaning person.
We had heard about this one at a recent event, but it wasn't until we read some of the previous logs that we remembered. It gets a favourite point from us. We thought it was funny that there were no dogs at the pound, just two cute pigs in residence today. TFTC
On way home after a quick trip to Waimate and was keen to find this one, nice hide TFTC
Geomutt could have been more of a help but she was busy with a decoy so it was up to me to find it. TFTC
Had to return for a second look for this sneaky one. Love the hide!

You'd have to be barking mad to look for a cache here, but here we are sniffing around & finally scratching our name on the log !
One of the crappiest caches I've found for a while, but certainly worthy of a favourite.
Another great find on the Emvy_Us / Waiiti20 mega tour of the Southern South Island. Enjoyable camo. TFTC
The log book is like writing on a tapeworm! Needs replacing. Found on my way home from the MEGA event
A quick find while heading into town. Made a wrong turn and didn't actually mean to come this way. Oh well still plenty of caches about.
Provided a smile.

first cache on a suuny day down to te anau. love the container. the log was quite wet, very hard to log. tftc
A dog must have really had a (bladder) problem because the log was soaked. Its going to need replacing. It was too wet to add name to the log but have a photo of the cache to provide evidence of the find. For reasons other cachers will soon appreciate, won't post the pic here but can supply to owner on request.
Got it this time - appears to have had a dog pee on it, as log is pretty damp.
A quick find on a big caching day from Christchurch with Kiwi Moose. A nice bit of fun here.... Thanks for the hide.
A lot of passing traffic but did find just glad it was the cache. SL TFTC Well done
Found it at 2:33 PM, Interesting container, to say the least !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't have time for more than a small percentage of the caches available on a circuit drive from Tekapo to Tekapo via Timaru airport and Waimate. This was one we really wanted to do as we had an idea of what might be looking for. Didn't find it or anything else resemling a cache. GPS had us in a clear area - we suspected it was further in but still no success in the time we had available. We suspect it is there and we were blind.
Had almost given up on this one when the pond keeper (lives across the road) drove over to ask whether I had found the treasure box yet. Whilst talking to him I had a brainwave and knew what it was I should have been looking for and seconds later I had it in my hand. The pound keeper said that though he knew what it was it was (an Oamaru geocaching friend had described it to him) it was the first time he had seen it.
4193. Luckily it was all very quiet around here today so we didn't have to worry about people seeing the things we were prepared to pick up! It was a good quick find.
Thanks

With 3 dogs that travel with us on all caching expeditions we are very used to the pooper scooper... Made sure they were securely in the van for this cache!

Arrived to see my sister who lives in Waimate, and they took us out for a coffee.
I think my sis is getting in to this she keeps wanting us to stop to get a cache. She even found this cache

It took a while but we found it. Ha. Surprising how much trafic there is on this road just to add a bit of difficulty.

On our way out of Waimate we saw this cache and decided that we would have a quick look for it, we didn't have our pooper scooper with us, but our eagle eyes spotted the cache quickly in the first spot that we looked. Another very interesting spot to hide a cache, thanks for bringing us here, we managed to avoid all the K9 landmines, TFTC TNLNSL (3094)
Took a little hunting, until I switched tack, and there it was. Wasn't keen on the barking dogs late at night when we were wandering around with torches Cheers Gav [7493]
The local resident was making it's presence known. Not easy to find in the dark. TFTC
A typical sneaky Bitsprayer cache which Mrs W.E.K.A. promptly spotted.

FTF and the extra bonus of a tour of the facility. Really interesting to see what was inside and how the occupants are handled long term. The lingering smell had me wondering if I had stepped on something outside - definately not for jandals!
