This is an onterwtong looking place. The commons is really nice, shame they don't allow camping here, as it would be a great spot for a weekend of fishing and kayaking. We drove down to the waters edge for an explore before picking up the cache in rhe way back. It was great to find another fun spot to visit in the area, but now it's time to head home before the thunder gets any closer. Thanks for the cache!

Didn't find the current cache, but I did find the old one as it had been picked up by a local a while ago who didn't know what it was. Spent a lovely morning chatting with them. Will have to go back out and find the actual cache another day.

I think this was my fifth attempt at looking for this thing. Literally turned towards it and something caught my eye. This game is frustratingly fun sometimes.

We actually gave up on this one, drove and found another nearby which made us realise how small the cache could possibly be, this gave us hope and so we went back and found it in 2 minutes. It’s tiny!!

Almost gave up on this one but found it in the end! Unable to sign due to the lid being rusted shut.

Sorry folks. When I updated co-ordinates the hint did not remove itself even though I asked it to. The cache was moved to another area after the rock it was located in was removed. It is now a micro cache.

If there was a rock wall it's not there now.

02-Jul-20
Attempted on our 7 day rafting trip from Lilydale to Grafton. Quick look but wasn't obvious. There was a group of muggles near gz making the task a little difficult.

Rusty85 and I were returning home and I decided to look at which caches were on the way, this was a little of the trail but as it was unloved we decided to go for it, the hint led me to a different place but Rusty85 persevered with her idea and finally a cache was discovered. We signed the log, replaced it as found and were on our way to another unloved one. TFTC

DiamonJs and I love taking the scenic route where ever we travel, this cache took us a different way and that was good. I made a find, we signed and then we were gone. It really is a forgotten park. TFTC

Had a reasonable search for this but no luck for me.

29-Jul-15
Looks like the rock wall has been pulled apart. All I could find was a torn plastic ziplock bag of Magpyre geocache size laying out in the open. Think it has been muggled.

We have spent a couple of days in Grafton to watch the Bridge 2 Bridge ski race. While here we though we would spend a day caching in the nearby area.
We spent a nice day travelling along the scenic country roads, mostl locations with views of the river.
A very quiet picnic area, cache was soon located.
Thanks for placing this cache Magpyre

Headed to Grafton for a day from emmaville. On the way back, we took a detour and grabbed the cache. I previously logged a dnf on this cache ages ago. I now can't believe that I couldn't find it. But i think I was looking for something else.

It has been 18 months since we had been to this cache and logged a DNF. Second go around I put my hands on the cache before possum had found the satellites on the GPS. Can't believe I did not find this before. Had to wait for muggles to leave before we could put the cache back as they turned up as we were signing the log. Thanks Maqpire for the hide.

20-Sep-13
After a couple of wrong turns, I finally found the road that led to this well hidden park Razz
This road doesn't even appear on my GPS maps [:o]
Once at the park, I could relax and take in the riverside views before the short stroll to the cache Big Grin

An easy find behind a sneaky bit of camo [^]

Found with Scoutrocks and its team members. A nice little park, a good place to stop for lunch. TFTC

23-Jun-13
Found at 1:10 PM GAFF1. Another lovely "find". This is similar to the banks of the Murray around Mildura - lovely parks high above the river. We decided to have lunch here after finding the cache.
This sort of hide can be a bit destructive as there were rocks all over the place. We replaced as many as we could, but we wish that cachers not be so rough and careless.
Thanks Magpyre.

What a lovely spot. Great view down to the river. If we weren't heading West we may have gone down to the river for a swim after finding the cache. TFTC an FP for this one.

02-Jan-13
Pulled up to this pretty and quiet out of the way spot only to have two other cars pull up right beside us before we had even got out of the car. They had a little look at the view and then decided to drive thru the gate and down to the riverside leaving us to find the cache. Thanks for placing it here Magpyre.

A nice drive in, a great park and a peaceful town but unfortunately there was no cache, I looked around for a while and found some possible spots and eventually came to the conclusion that the cache had been muggled, which was unfortunate as I was looking foward to finding this cache. Can the owner please replace the geocache as I will come back and find it.

15-Jul-12
Looked where the gps was showing us and read the clue but the cache was not there. A great spot and will come back when the cache has been fixed up as I am fairly sure it has been muggled.

28-Mar-12
Quick find at 1405. Do not know what made be come on this long caching trip today. I should have broken my plan into two days as I am staying in Stanthorpe for my 4 day expeditions. Have not been to this area for nearly twenty years and i did notice the difference.Tthere was a man mowing his lawn in the house two up from GZ. Another view of the river. TNLNSL TFTC Magpyre

Had a quick detour in for this cache and well worth it. Lovely quiet park with a view.

23-Nov-11
Well the rain looked really set in - it has been drizzling all day while I have been doing the Grafton caches (strange but I don't feel any connection here, but this is where my paternal grandparents lived - and are buried - and my father was born, and grew up here (in Grafton))

anyway I had to get down low to look for the stash, so went back to the gypsy with a travel bug and got the trusty torch to enable me a better view, without having to move anything.

the stash was soon in hand

thanks again, for yet another cache ...[^]... Maqpyre
