i like that the cache was nicely hidden, just don't like the spikey guardian there, got in and out without too many scratches, tftc
Travelling around South Island for 2 weeks while in NZ. Finding caches here and there. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Spending 2 days in Invercargill and have set aside one day to do the Pengi geoart and other caches along the way. Great weather today to be roaming the countryside. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining the caches we visited today.
Trouve ! / Found it ! 4799me cache trouve.Merci farmer2some pour la cache 4799th cache found.Thank you farmer2some for the cache
#23396. I thought this looked like an interesting trad, and as it was (pretty much) en route I decided we'd stop for a look. The cemetery was a large one for a quiet rural location. Troodles choose the correct side of the hedge and made a quick find. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a day concentrating on the PPA series. There was a bit of drizzle during the morning but by the afternoon, the sun was out and it became warm, though the wind was coolish. We were driving past a few trads, but SW thought it was worth a stop. A nice wee cemetery. We weren't sure whether the cache was was inside or out, so SW went one way and I another, and I chose the correct spot. TFTC.
Great find and family fun, Easy find found in the first few minutes great wee exciting finds inside the geocache that await for the next ongoing finders
Quickly spotted by my guest brother.
3/4 of the small tour I did around the farm I stay at.

Invading Invercargill with Gadget169 for a weekend of caching and 2 events.
This one was on our list after leaving Riverton and heading up and around, making our way to Invercargill for our first event...The GeoDuck Race. Nice quick find here TFTC

Intrigued by the name of the cemetery, we decided to stop by. We met three feline friends who distracted us utterly from the cache but eventually we found it. TFTC!
Fast find to fill in a dot day.
Great to see such well cared for grounds.

Cache 896 Climbing this months Geo mountain, I couldn’t pass by this nice easy 325 points so pulled in at the gate and went for a quick walk, cache was a nice quick easy find provided you come at it from the correct side of the hedge. Cache is in excellent shape T4TC
On a tour of the South Coast today. I have past by but have never seen this site. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks. I needed my torch to spot this one!
Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. Today we had some mixed eather. A bit damp in the morning and afternoon, and dry for the rest of the time. Lucky us. Off to Invercargill today.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Thanks for this Cache. What a beautiful cemetery. I drive past almost every day, but today was the first time I stopped. Big bonus: The weather is absolutely stunning.
Have a weeks work in Invercargill. But what to do in the evenings. Today I headed as far as Otautau to grab a few caches. This one was on the way. Nice little cemetery. Thanks for the cache.
Out on my first big Geo Cache day with AnnieLin, DownSouthInv, AbbyKitt showing me the ropes. Enjoying the experience

Monday 2 November. Headed out to Otautau today. Another cool overcast day this morning at 8deg. Toby lets get exploring!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Second attempt at this one as workers galore in the area before. Sussed where I needed to go then, so an easy quick find today. Well maintained cemetery and memorial tftc
Interesting history board in the cemetary. Find was quick once on the right side.
Well that’s an unloved cache. Last logged on 9th January 2018. However those who have logged Dnd’s you might need a tott to help find it. That’s all I’ll give away.
Nearly took my eye out inside hedge but didn't find cache. Doesn't mean it's not there though!
A missed turning meant we were passing this cache site, so thought why not. A bit of a hint and miss day today. Unfortunately this one was a miss for us. It looks like someone has been using the GZ to dump leftover plant containers and a whole bunch of old fake flowers.
Visiting Invercargill for Xmas and managed to get some caching in.
We always stop for cemetary caches, some interesting history on some of the graves.

#4862. I have been in Southland for a week on a work trip but all that time was spent in Fiordland. I now have two days off and time to grab as many caches as I can find. Hired a rental car and set off on the adventure in glorious warm, sunny, dry, summer-like weather. Well this one was fun. Arrived here after dark and yep its a cemetery. Lucky I don't suffer from nyctophobia and I am comfortable that all those ghosts and ghouls have better things to do with their eternal time than spook a little old geocacher. So in I went and after a short search there was the cache. Signed the log and replaced the cache where found. Thanks for the cache farmer2some.
My first spirit cache. The hedge has had a good trim and the grounds look nice'n'tidy apart from the spot where the cache is. Looks to quite safe from groundsmen tucked away in it's little place. SL tftc
Quick stop here for a cache on our way from Otautau. Trees were just recently shaved and I thought if the cache has gone same time. Yes, there's power on in that electricity fence near the cache. Found the cache just after I tried other side approach for the site. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from Finland.
Found quickly. Where has the time gone... nearly 15 years since Nana passed, thanks for the memories of my grandparents.
A dot day find.
This is an interesting wee cemetery and I really appreciated the info panel about the area - and the multiple names it has been known by over the years. Imagine a parish expending from here to Te Anau!!
This was a quick find, and having read the logs I was very careful while retrieving it, thanks for the warning fluffyduck.
You'll know when you are in the right place when you find where all the old flowers end up - wind blown or dumped? It's hard to say.
Thanks for bringing us here - we found a slightly shorter trip home.

Tftc - always wanted to call out to this cemetery because it has such an interesting name
On my way to Te Anau today
Quick find once I found the cemetery

What a strange name for a cemetery! Found the cache once we were on the right side of the hedge. It's interesting that the Isla Bank Butchery is so far away from here. I wonder if it moved? TFTC
We found this early in the morning on our last caching day in Southland. Nana and I walked around the cemetery and read the graves while Mum and Granddad looked for the cache.
Found the cemetery and the cache in no time but I dislodged the cache container and it took ages to retrieve it from where it ended up. A few prods from branches and scratches made for an unconfortable encounter, but the cache is now back where it belongs.
Found this morning in the drizzle. Found it on the ground at the GZ so raised it off the ground. Hope in the right place.
Had a look in the obvious corner trying not to get eyes with the branches. hedge has been trimmed with clippings still on ground. Next time I will look again. I was a bit short of time as I had a pick up in Otautau that had been brought forward.
It took a wee while to locate this cache, although it was in the logical position. It was covered in natural camouflage provided by birds obviously nesting in the location. The information board at the cemetery entrance makes for interesting reading. TFTC
This attempt at finding was successful with great weather, rather than the sleeting/hailing of the last attempt. Tftc.
Nice little cemetery, and a fairly easy find in what turned out to be an obvious spot of many hiding spots. Cheers Gav
I was down at Bridge 22 and realised this wasn't too far away - I'd been here in July but there had been people burning prunings in that corner.
I couldn't see this initially, the read some other logs - and walked away a few steps, then back straight to the cache.
TFTC.

Almost dark but went straight to the cache. Enjoyed reading the history board at the cemetery.
The bushes have been cut and the cache was possibly found by the cutter as it was out in the open. Placed back in what appeared to be the logical place, but could be wrong so it may be worth checking it. TFTC
Very well maintained cemetery.Informative plaques. Also visited the equally well maintained nearby church,Good cache.TFTC
Very peaceful place.TFTC
