TFTC! Nice and easy find and I the log book is full so I put in another bit of paper.
Out and about on a caching day with Posums saw us in the posher part of town! Quick find here. Thanks
Today I planned to walkover to Herring Island for an event (not an easy task walking on water you might say) and I mentioned it to my caching buddy GemmaSistema. So a planned was hatched to catch up and do some caching before hand.I picked her up at a station and soon the day of fun and laughs started.Caches were mainly picked by if there was parking close by and also how much walking was involved. This side of town is very different to the one where I live as there is some very impressive houses around.Parked the Geowagon and off we went a nice easy find and I loved he artwork on the building. Thanks 3blackducks TFTC.
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Four: Bayside and KingstonWeather: windy doesnt even begin to describe it, and rain too.First cache of the day. A quick stop here on the way to the beach as there are two trads and an Adventure Lab question all quite close together. This is quite a sizeable structure, but the cache kinda leapt out at me on my first lap. Thanks for this hide 3blackducks.
Day 2 of my search for LGA caches. This is one that I found and signed. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches that add to our game. TNLN SL
Out caching with Willywombat27 on a beautiful, sunny, Sunday afternoon. This one was found by her.We actually found it on 12th May and just found the unsent log in my draftsSo sorry about the late log.The log paper was full so put in another piece of paper.
On a small evening walk, I found this one as last one today. One of that kind I had already today. Nevertheless it took a while until I got it.TFTCacheld
Fourth find on my metro LGA route today. I was looking in all kinds of nooks and crannies with no luck. Read the hint and spotted it straight away. Just proves how effective these hides can be. TN, left a pathtag. TFTC
Love this sneaky hide. I have seen these before so luckily this was easier than I predicted. TFTC
Find 3203This one had me going for quite some time.Thought I checked everything, but nothing was showing up.After a couple of laps and a more thorough look It just hit me in the eye.Log signed and all back safe again. The cache name is very appropriate. Thanks 3blackducks for your caches today.
*Getting To Mentone Requal Adventure #3*I need to do a Skills Maintenance course at Mentone beach, and I'm winding my way to it on a pushbike. Luckily, I could fit in a cache or so along the way.Technically, this is now find 3 of 6. There was a lot of disappointment when I turned up at a tree-climb... with someone doing a street stall ten metres away, and another easy cache under a seat... with a muggle sitting on it. *This* one was hassle-free.Thanks heaps for this cache, 3blackducks.
We caught the train in from Beaufort this morning with the main goal being to attend an event nearby in Brighton hosted by Swiss geocacher tante resi. Arriving in the city with an hour or so to spare, we cached our way through the arcades from Bourke Street to Flinders Street, before jumping on a train to Gardenvale Station. After a really yummy lunch at the Bakehouse in Martin St, we started walking towards the event at Kamesburgh Gardens, but decided we had time to go a little further and find this cache first. Spotted on second walk around. Nicely done. TFTC 3blackducks.
Following from the nearby event I crossed the road to grab this one before heading home.A familiar hide here which doesnt look out of place given the structure. Thanks 3blackducks for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. It was a great day out!----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. **#17'527** Living at my sister-in-law and her familys place during my stay in Australia this tradi-cache **Little Shock of Horror** is just around the corner from her/them...So it was quit clear that it would be me first physical cache to visit...With all the experience I have doing geocaching, it was a matter of second to discover it...Happily I signed the logsheet...Thanks 3blackducks, for the placement and the care of this cache. I suppose a hint is in the title of this. I had read a previous finders log that they had spotted the cache on their approach which suggests it is in plain sight, but I did not know which direction they had approached from. I have seen these caches before, in fact there's an identical one not far away but I did not spot the cache as I walked over to GZ even though I should have as I was facing with it right in front of me. I thought the cache may have been on the other side of the building more exposed to the intersection, without trying to give too much away here. I was pleased this was not the case as I waited out a muggle passing by on the footpath and only then did I spot the cache without looking overly hard. All signed and returned. Thanks 3blackducks for the find.
I was having a "holiday" in Balaclava minding a cat... and was heading down to Beaumaris for dinner with family... so I left early and went looking for a few caches along the way. The hardest part about finding this cache was finding somewhere safe to park... although I did have a bit of an edge... I have used this camo for a couple of caches so I spotted it immediately. I guess if you haven't come across one of these before, it could be a bit of a challenge. Thanks **3blackducks** for putting this cache here.
Quick and cool find at GZ ! First physical cache in Australia for us. Greetings from Canada/France
Working in the area and I finished work to discover my car saying it's the first 30+ degrees day of this later spring, early summer. So what to do except go geocaching towards the bay and the cool water. Didn't bring my surfboard, but then not like I'm going to miss any waves on these beaches.First true cache of the afternoon, because I don't believe Adventure Lab locations count. From the angle I approached this GZ, I spotted the container walking towards it. Glad I've seen this sort before. Thanks for the cache 3 Black DucksHunter
A neat hide on a noisy structure. Love these types of hides in plain sight. Managed to be stealthy until a gust of wind blew the paper away as I was finishing! Thanks 3blackducks
Little shock that the cache is still there after 12 years since the original placement.
Out on a Christmas break with sir_spectre, exploring southern Victoria grabbing lots of smilies, finding caches in LGA's and of course signing a few more challenges.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Stopped to get a cache or five in a new LGA. quick find.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

Looked for another cache close by and this name jumped out at me….cool movie…..so had to get this one……ooooo some cool houses close by with very unusual gate…a nice quick find at gz but unfortunately kenare had the song stuck in her head and we had to listen to it…lol
So of course I had ‘little shop of horrors’ song stuck in my head!!!!
After checking out some really cool gates nearby we headed over to make the quick find thanks to the sharp eyes of jenno3.

A lovely day in Melbourne today. Very sneaky hide. Thanks for placing the geocache
Tricky tricky; very clever! Thought this could be a DNF. But don’t give up; it just blends in super-well.
I had a few ideas, all of which turned out to be wrong. Just as I was giving up, I had a last look at my first (wrong) idea and saw something else!
Thanks
Thanks
Sneaky sneaky!! It almost evaded us and then we stopped to think a little deeper and voila the cache was in our hands. Thanks so much for a well hidden cache
Fortunately, we had seen this type before and we were able to swoop in quickly, sign the log and make a hasty retreat before anyone knew what was going on.
Thanks 3blackducks for giving us something extra to do while we were driving around.
Chiefton!!!
