I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENAINCE REQUIRED?
[blue]I notice from one or more recent log entries that this cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. Therefore, I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; "if you can't fix it straight away then "Disable" it till you can."

Please respond to this situation by 30th November to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/blue]

We looked and we looked and then we looked again. No sight of it was to be found. Camouflage must be extra special.

A Maker Madness event in Beechworth at lunchtime today meant we had the whole morning to ride down the hill and pick up a heap of caches along the rail trail. Unfortunately the weather decided against it and a few mm of rain caused us to stay in town for the day.

I've been to this cache three times over the last few years but have not had any luck due to the high number of muggles and the wrong time of day. Today we struck it lucky as the street was deserted and we were able to search in peace, although we spent far too much time looking at the obvious hiding spot only to find the cache a few meters away. Glad we could finally tick this one off the list.

Thank you for the cache pooley16.
#2833rd @ 1900hrs and 24th of 24 for the day.

Had to avoid muggles for this one but we enjoyed the hide! Needed to try my hypothesis twice before locating. TFTC!

Possibly the best day of the year to complete such a public cache, mid afternoon and hardly a muggle in sight. Very clever hide indeed, suits the surrounds perfectly - tftc pooley16

Reperio at 1025.

Well having been born and raised in Shepparton, my older brother and sister have very fond memories of skatewave. I only vaguely recollect it being there...but in looking back at old photos of the place, you can only trace out the shape of the buildings where it once was. With the coast pretty well clear...I had a quick search around the area and soon spotted the likely cache.

Found the cache quickly but had muggle problems, needed a few distractions and just plain waiting until we could complete the job,

27-Oct-13
After doing the fireworks for the Relay for Life last night in Moama we are taking a leisurely drive home grabbing a few caches in places we don't normally get to.
We were happy that we could find plenty of parking even with the trailer on and happy that as it was Sunday everything around us was shut. We are sure that it would have been a lot different when Skatewave was open.
With accurate co-ords the well hidden cache was soon found and the log book was signed and rep[laces.
Thanks pooley16 for the cache.

16-Oct-13
Found with the SCP on our second attempt. There were a few too many muggles to have a proper look on the first occasion today, so we revisited on our way out of town and one of my geosisters unearthed the sneaky hide. TFTC

16-Oct-13
Found on our day's journey across to Shepparton. in the company of the Crazy Creels and the Geogetters on our fortnightly Sisterhood caching trip.
We had visited earlier but it was too busy to attempt - we came back later in the day and spotted it almost straight away. We had been alerted (by a muggle friend I ran into) to a plastic handbag tied to the tree and can only ask Why?

Staying at bonnie doon for the weekend with Happy chappies family and mine, we headed to Shepparton via Euroa for the day.

As we pulled up an started exploring I was deeply concerned that the cache was going to be hidden in some nearby, formidable looking vegetation... But as I fretted, ilovedrwho found the cache in a much more reasonable spot Smile

Found 2:29pm , find # 2331
Today I used my Senior's Free Rail Coupon to travel from Melbourne to Shepparton, and then I walked around for the middle part of the day picking up some of the local caches. Mainly concentrating on some of the Shepparton Goulburn Broken River Trail Series, I also picked up a few around the central part of the town before catching the train home.
I had a great day, with only a single DNF, and ended up walking just under 20km.
Some of the caches took a while to find, and I also did a few multis, so my numbers weren't high, but I thoroughly enjoyed the day.
This was find number 11 of 13 for the day.
At first I was afraid this one was somewhere else, where it would have been difficult to find.
Then I read a few logs and thought it might be something else which I've found a lot of, and it was.
Nobody arou8nd, so the business was done quick and easily.

Thanks pooley16.

I actually have a cache like this which I have not deployed yet. baffled the muggles and got it. Logs were saturated, so took old logs and replaced with emergency log and silica gel. Will contact CO. SL TFTC

Not a good day. This was the third DNF. Will persevere.

12-May-13
For once I went straight to it -most unusual for me Smile Very quiet Sunday afternoon so no muggles about, SL and merrily went on my way. TFTC, pooley16 Smile

05-May-13
I was searching around in the dark with a torch trying to find the cache. I have to thank my muggle husband for this one he came to the rescue and found it. I have replaced the old log with a new dry one I have left the old one there in case the cache owner wants to collect it. SL TFTC

04-May-13
After a quick search, the old trusty cache revealed itself. Need new log as very damp. Tftc

10-Apr-13
First one I found without help, it really sparked my interest to continue with others.

06-Apr-13
Sorry pooley16 for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks pooley16 for placing this cache.

02-Apr-13
Very nice hide ... I saw it almost straight away but didn't think it would be that well camouflaged! After 10 minutes of looking for a more obvious hide (and avoiding muggles) had another look ... And yes it was a little damp!

Quick find by grand-son.Came across a couple of these before.Even have one of our own for a future cache.TFTC

23-Mar-13
A nice easy find, right out in the open and a very good thing that we were quick as we found a lot of muggles in the area, even on a quiet Saturday afternoon. A couple of muggles whizzed by on bikes and asked us what we were looking for, with quick thinking we told them we'd dropped an earing.

14-Mar-13
Great hide! First one that we found ourselves and boy were we excited!

Little sister to the rescue. Found it!! Slightly damp though.

20-Feb-13
Oh yeah !!
I was there too Red Face
Back in the early 80's I was one of the cool kids with the proper racing skates strapped to me feet Smile
Black with yellow stripes and yellow wheels Razz
The Gawler Rollerdrome was the Friday night hangout and having just got our driving licenses, me and me skating mates could drive the 20 odd kms to towne to test our skills and win crappy prizes Razz
The wheelbarrow event was always a favouite Smile
While two of you sat facing each other and sitting on each others skates, the third member of the party would push like crazy, and the whole trio would speed around the skating rink at crazy speeds Razz

Back to the future and I was standing around in a shady spot in Shepparton, outside a very muggly place, at lunch time Smile
No suggestions of any rollerskating happening, or having happened here [:o]
I loitered for a while looking for the cache while sipping a fizzy cola.
The really obvious places were not paying dividends and I turned my attention to the really nasty places to hide a cache nearby [:o]

Then I saw the cache,
Now I'm a believer.
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
That's the cache,
I'm a believer I couldn't leave it if I tried Smile

I moved the pushbike to a more strategic position and while inspecting the gears fiddled with what I thought was the cache and discovered to my relief, that it was Big Grin

Love your work pooley16 [^]

Great coordinates pooley16. I was standing right next to it thinking, hmmmmmm... where should I look first ... how about this ... BINGO!!!! Big Grin. Doesn't happen too often but had luck on my side tonight, TFTC

11-Feb-13
Last cache of the evening and a bit of an afterthought as I had come past here earlier when it was too busy. Read the last log and I know Quasar and I guessed what he was referring too. Anyway I had the cache in seconds!
Thanks pooley16 for this one.

05-Feb-13
Finally got it on the 3rd attempt. Not sure why it's been so hard before, I've found quite a number of caches before hidden in this way! Thanks for the cache.

04-Feb-13
Found 2-2-13. Had been to this site before but there was too many muggles about, hardly any around on this Sunday afternoon, quickly located, log is a little damp again which seems to be a reoccurring theme! TFTC

Before heading to IDW this year Gonefishen07 asked if I wanted to go caching whilst in Shepparton?, hell yeah was the answer. So tonight was the night and after a great pub meal our small group KTCvic, Gonefishen07, Thing No 1 and Gonefishen07's geochild headed out to knock a few caches over.

Arrived at GZ looking around, I was lucky with phone taking me straight to GZ, where a quick discovery was found, (4 - nil).

Log was signed then we were off. thanks for the cache.

23-Jan-13
Found with KTCvic and Thing No1. After being at International Dairy week during the day thought I would con KTCvic to find a few caches in Shep while here, well I think I was along for the ride as KTCvic had his caching eyes one tonight as he found all 4 that we found and we had 3 DNF's for the night as well. While I was wondering around trying to get some service KTCvic had this one found, nice cameo fits in well with it's surrounds

found while shopping for turtle food, great hide but hard to sign log as its very damp TFTC

18-Aug-12
My first cache found as an official geocacher!

03-Aug-12
Had a quick look while Geojen was shopping nearby but no good. I didn't look too hard as I was feeling conspicuous among the muggles there about. Never feel too comfortable caching alone where one is in full view of many.
Another day perhaps! I'll bring an angle grinder and chainsaw and take the likely parts away for perusal at my leisure. Smile

# 220 - On arrival at GZ, there seemed to be a strange muggle lurking at GZ, turned out to be nanna.c, so we commenced the search and nanna.c came up trumps! It was nice to meet another caching team! TFTC pooley16, don't know that we would have looked there! Big Grin

Council workers doing some cutting down of branches and mulching them nearby to GZ so went across the road and had morning tea. They drove off just as we were ready to try again, fortunately! We found the cleverly hidden cache being careful of muggles walking by. Found the history of "Skatewave" most interesting. You certainly did enjoy using it when younger! Big Grin TFTC pooley16.

We really enjoyed walking towards this cache reading the cache page and imagining all the exploits that the local teens must have got up to back then. Once at GZ we started to wonder where the cache could be, fortunatly we are familiar with this type of hide and once spotted we knew what it was.
