Quickly found, but .....if the weather had been frosty then the cache would have lived up to its name, like one we found through Porters Pass once, a solid lump of ice! But since it was a sunny day today, the cache was just full of water, We've removed all the pens, log book, and stuff inside and replaced the logpaper with a waterproof one. This container badly needs replacing with a waterproof one.
Great clues and found but all wet. Tipped container upside down to drain and dry out. May need new book.
It was pretty easy to find but log book was soaking wet, still very nice place
Quick grab while taking a break from study. As per previous comments, logbook is very wet so wasn't able to sign the log
Found it while on my lunch break. Had the GZ to myself, although a vehicle whizzed past they were too busy to notice what 1eyednbf (1 eyed and proud of it) was up to, quick easy find, sadly the contents were not frozen they were immersed in water, couldn't sing the ‘sodden logged’ book, needs attention TFTH
I'd been out this way before but searched on the wrong side of the road (which is where my GPSr took me this time too).
The hint object is pretty overgrown and doesn't leap out.. Anyway, found the cache - log is totally saturated and the notebook is actually a little too big to seal the bag. Managed to sign it, surprising wioth the degree of saturation. TFTC.

Found with my Grandsons after a very welcome icecream at Tai Tapu. The cache and log very wet. TFTC.
Tried for this before so happy we had success this time.
Cache and contents very wet.
Thanks
Cache and contents very wet.
Thanks
Found after a long ride into a head wind. very wet cache, tipped out the water and didn't sign log. something has chewed the seal of this cache. tail wind home!
Our last one for the day. Sent Mr Adventure in to do this one as Miss Adventure and I were in shorts and jandals, and already covered in sandfly bites, scratches and nettle rash from previous caches. He found it without getting his shoes too wet, but the cache is quite damp inside. TNLN Thanks
Tftc. Went on a bike ride around the area, getting some caching done at the same time. Took awhile digging around the undergrowth but got there in the end.
A nice spot for a cache early Saturday morning, lovely day - blue sky - love Spring

Nothing like a bit of bush bashing! The undergrowth is taking off with the warmer(?) Spring weather. A bit wet inside the cache, but log ok in bag.
Well I must be blind!! It has taken me three visits to finally get this one. Its not even that hard now I have finally found it!!! First time co-ords had me on the other side even tho I read the hint but.... Between each of my visits others had found it so back I go again and today I got lucky. Yeah!

Already had my cache for the day, but when mum suggested going out caching again since she was up here visiting for a few days, I didn't mind! As long as it was outside the edge of chch city, then the streak could still be continued! I mean, I was pretty keen to be able to find a few more for the day too!
Frozen was a suitable term for what we were feeling at this time
It was bloody bloody cold, and toes were numb, we were slightly soaked, it was dark... and I honestly didn't have much high hopes for this one... especially considering all the DNFs that were on it! Honestly thought that this would be a lost cause in the dark... so you can imagine my joy and surprise when after under 5 minutes I accidentally stumbled upon it... YUSSSSS OH YEAHHH!!!
So we signed log and very quickly jumped back off into the warmth of the car
TFTC!!

The cache title is a perfect description of the state we were in when we found the cache TFTC!!!
First cache of the day and recognized we had been here before. Not sure why we did not find that time but this time went right to it ... Well Chelzea did while was on the other side of the road. Container wet but logbook okay. TFTC
This cache has been freezing me out for awhile. This is my fourth visit here and without the leaves and summer rampant growth it turned out to be an easy find even though the GPS was still pointing all over the place. Picked up Chuck Norris so he could go terrorize somewhere else.
Camped at Tai Tapu domain so done some geo!S arround this aerea. Some great houses close by.The cache had fallen down quiet low making it very hard to get so left it a little but same place.well covered. TFTC
2 DNF's on River Road today Found the sign did the bush bashing but obviously in the wrong places!
Trickiest part of this cache was finding a safe car park. Nice spot and TFTC. SL, TNLN.

Co-ords were playing up for us today, kept pointing us to the wrong side of the road, but found it quickly when we went to the right side. Nice wee ally way here. Thanks for bringing us here!
Glad this spot was sheltered from wind somewhat as we were on our bikes making our way from cache to cache out in this area and boy was it gusty! Cache was quickly found. TFTC.
Out caching with an scout friend an this was their introduction to caching. TFTC
GPS had me a little off and looking where others clearly had too. Checked the hint and then found immediately.
A quick find on our way to catch up with family nearby before flying home. Dropped in Slug. TFTC
Came to check out to river as well, a bit murky. Nicely concealed cache, have to watch your step. TFTC
Fifth stop on today's 3 hour, 45km, 8 cache cyclocache tour of the Selwyn District. Took me a little time to get my bearings and then there it was. Thanks for the cache.
The other logs helped more on this one as it happened to me and my mate looking for it.
While walking back to the car, after giving up, Sheldon stood on it. Rich and Trev joined us. TFTC. TNLNSL
3699. The coordinates were no help and we were not sure why we needed to bush bash first then retreat to find the cache! But luckily we did find and sign.
Thanks

As previously mentioned co-ordinates appear to be on the other side of the road? TFTC.
OK, for our first visit we used the coords, for the second the hint. And the second visit proofed to be more successful. Would be better to have the correct coords from the beginning.
Gps coordinates are saying its on other side of road would not have found it without clue TFTC
We liked the sentiment although do wonder how watertight the cache will be. We also found it with the hint as the coordinates did put us on the wrong side. Thanks.
Our GPS also wanted us to be over the Road. You are so right about it's name.Glad to get back to the Cachemobile, and get some warmth.TFTC
The coordinates suggested the cache was on the other side of the road, but we had read the hint and went straight to the cache.

We drove past several times looking for other caches in the area. Came back to this one for an easy find with the "help" of a large lonely dog. TFTC
Coords were pointing at the other side of the road, but followed the hint and found the cache. Cheers Gav [7509]
