Logs
There was a stirring, Anaconda sensed another nearby. She made her way down the Canning River to the Kent Street Weir and with a quick look back she was gone.
Upon reading your 'what bees?' comment I decided to try a different route away from the (clearly quite at home) bees. Came up with the goods after a 10 minute search. Awesome hide! TFTC )
When I got close to GZ there were wasps swarming in and out, so I was going to leave it. Didn't fancy getting stung! However, I decided to go around and have a look in another spot about 3m from the wasps and there I found it! I didn't sign the log as I once again forgot to bring a pen!
Found with richlink on our "clean up our DNFs day"
A quick find this time. Watch out for the agressive bees in a nearby tree, they were hell bent on chasing us away. Mr richlink was stung on his ear as we were running back to the car with the bees in hot pursuit.

In the company of iluvtrekking we decided on a 'clean up our DNF's day' and with trepidation approached this gz again. Surprisingly today it was a very quick find - phew.
I was talking to mistraluna yesterday and she suggested how about going for a day of geocaching. The hardest part was deciding where to go as we have both covered differant areas so she came up with lets do the Anaconda series so i thought why not that doesnt look to hard...How wrong was i, All i can say is Amstradkid most of your hides are EVIL, we did get a few fairly easy ones (not many) but overall we did pretty well with only 2 DNFS. Cant believe we had another quick find, we are going well so far TFTH Amstradkid
Out today with OOH YEH to try and tame this huge reptile. Don't know what made us think that this series would be a mere stroll in the park (or along a babbling brook as the case may be), but we gave it our best shot. Much to our amazement, we managed to find the little blighter fairly quickly. Once again, luck was on our side. Thanks AmstradKid
Thanks for replacing the cache. Still plenty of bees nearby but thankfully no yapping dogs this afternoon. TFTC AmstradKid.
Number 12 of 26 Forrestfield caches that I had in my sights for today, and back to the Anaconda series after deviating to some other caches. I looked in the 'obvious' locations and came up with nothing initially ... in a nutshell, I found it the 2nd time I looked in this location. SL. TFTH AmstradKid
Continuing on our very enjoyable meander along the River.
Nice day to be out and about.

neighbour make big noise - the small dog bark - arf arf - glad I can't hear oops... hee - gosh another hide spot - better bring glove in case!!! With FelixII. Thanks AmstradKid and Jazl.
This series has been on my radar for a while, so I decided to scout this one out, I was joined by AmstradKid who took the opportunity to do a maintenance run out of the caching run. On the MTB for the rest of the Anaconda Series. GPS'r was well behaved here consider the tree coverage. The cache was found easily again a nasty place to hide a cache due to the tree cover... SL TFTC AK
Even in a new location we couldn't spot this hide. With iluvtrekking we scoured all possibilities (to us) and had to resign ourselves to another DNF.

Another non find in the Anaconda series. Again...no idea what we were looking for. As a local, I know this is a popular place for kids to play. Could it have been muggled?
I think this was the final scale I attempted. The dogs in the 3 nearest houses bark continuously for the 20 minutes I was searching. There were also hundreds of bees in a nearby tree. Some people seem to love wandering along this type of terrain....I don't get it; best I stick closer to the ocean.
I had to head home but thought I'd try my luck on one more scale before heading off. Thankfully another easy one. TFTC.
Surprisingly quick find, especially on this series

Yet another attempt to catch the Anaconda, have previously search for this one,
success today after the GPSr had me at GZ. I now only have one left, so another return visit required.
Thanks AmstradKid.

I made another attempt to capture the Anaconda. I should avoid the easy finds, there never easy for me.
Thanks AmstradKid.

On our 123 mission (100 hundred finds 2 reach 300 finds) this is day 1 find 2, took a few minutes when we overlooked it at first glance
Thought I would try to do some of the caches in this series on my way home. This creek is a long time favourite of mine so will really appreciate the numerous access points of these caches. After much leaf scrunching found my way to GZ, worried that the nearby neighbour would wonder what I was up to, but eventually, after much poking about found the little blighter. Thanks for the hunt AmstradKid.
We looked at the cache several times before we actually found it. It just seemed right at home in the spot you found for it. TFTH
We took the opportunity to spend this last day of the holidays checking out this series. Mrs Jacaro was in fine form today spotting many of these micro's while I was still engaged with my GPS Bee Dance. Managed 12 before shutting it in for the day! Appreciate the effort that has been expended setting up this series. Thanks Amstradkid!
It took me quite a while to find this one, only my third foray into the Anaconda series. The GPS was bouncing all over the place, and so was I, from one tree to another to another. I checked the spot where the cache was hidden at least 3 times before I spotted the cache though, my eyes just were not looking right
The dogs were going off, and there was people home, walking up and down the stairs, and the chickens on the other side of the creek kept having me thinking there was someone walking around over there as well! One of the trees in this area has an active bee hive, so take care if you are allergic.
Thanks for the cache AmstradKid!

Found with Krabiboy...Those dogs didnt like anyone being there was hard to sneak around them trying not to make noise. All good fun though....felt like a ninja tiptoeing in for the catch. TFTC
Found this cache after seeing where the coords were heading. Turned off device and walked straight up to it for a quick and very easy grab.
My third of the day on this Anaconda Trail.
As it was a quick find I thought i'd just squeeze in number four before
heading home.
Really enjoying the series do far.....

one of 22 caches I found in this series on a mountain bike....started at tail and worked my way to the head.....This is the best series I have done to date and highly recommend it....in fact if you would like to show someone what geocaching was all about take them through this series...I was lucky enough to find all of them, mostly because all coords were spot on....take no notice of previous logs every coord was bang on the money...thank you so much AmstradKid
(I apologise for replicating logs but my memory is not what it used to be)

Quick find once I got my bearings right. Didn't hear any dogs, but ran into several chickens at the GZ. TFTC
Yes it was very crunchy under foot but the dogs weren't out today.. probably too damn hot for them, so quick find with out barking. TFTC
Dropped my brother off at his car and came along for a quick crunchy find. No dogs or chickens seen! TFTC!

The only problem with this cache was the crunching noise made by walking over the leaf litter made the neighbours dogs upset and they were continually barking at me. I noticed on the way out that they could see over the fence so once they were aware of where I was they continued to bark even when I made no further noise.
Thanks for the cache.
