After Juicy Fruit this one took me in a different direction and I considered going back to the car first. However I followed the trail and found the cache GZ was by a road, not a public road though although the gate was open. Found the cache and opened it to find the logbook was very wet and mouldy. I managed to sign on a dry bit in the middle but this needs serious drying out or replacing. Will log a NM log.
Thanks!
Thanks!
this one took some time to locate but when I followed the GPS there it was not where I expected it to be. Log is very wet needs some sun or a some silica in the bag to help dry it out. TFTC TNLNSL
Thought this one would be a breeze, but true to its name sake there were lots of logs to choose from. We eventually found the correct one, and the cache was fairly exposed, so after adding our log to the log amongst the logs, we replaced it a little better. TFTC.
Found this one while on a caching day out from Newcastle took a bit of looking but got there in the end don't have a stamp yet so signed the log Thanks Aussiecacher for the letterbox
There sure were a lot of logs in this location. It was absolutely torrential rain as I arrived at GZ. Found the container after a few minutes of searching and as others have noted the log is very wet.
TNLN and thanks AussieCacher for the cache.

Managed to 'log' this one. Very wet inside but stamp was ok and managed to lightly log our name.

We started heading home after a big weekend in the Blue Mountains but we targeted these LBHs since there were a few near each other. Quick find at GZ.
Thanks !

A quick walk in with the others and we made a quick find - always happy with that !

Didn't find it on my way in but managed to find the cache on the way out, cache was a bit slimy inside and log book very damp, cleaned out the slimy water and let the log sit in the sun for a while but was not long enough. SL #327

Turned up and found GZ in pretty bad shape. Cache found quite quickly although without lid sealed properly, as a result log is now very wet.
There really is no need to pull anything apart here.

Always drawn to the rarer icons, this one was a must have during our group raid. Lochb might suggest there is some form of competition in maintaining the ahead of the gang with Letterbox numbers... Pfft, that's only cause she is holding the mantle. Were not competitive really... You believe us right...
We wandered in toward GZ and found a number of hiding spots. It took a couple of minutes scratching around before Kaisho53 came up with the goods...
Cheers AussieCacher.

Not quite as many logs as I'd envisaged, and the logs in the area are looking a bit the worse for wear and the cache needs a little TLC, too, with the logbook being pretty damp. TFTC. =^.^=

Some of us were after a letterbox record... hence the slight detour to get to this one. A nice hide! TFTC

Found this cache a short way from GZ in pieces and muggled to a point that I didnt want to pick it up. Log sheet and stamp still in snaplock bag but didnt sign (photo only), maybe at another time. Needs URGENT maintenance. I put it back as close to GZ a possible but not in he container due to its condition.

Great little hiding spot....geodad had CIH very quickly....was unsure whether we should enter into these grounds but being at night we can be very discrete....TFTC
Not far from the nursery I was visiting to pick up some plants, easy find. Cute stamp. Took geocoin.

Nice surroundings with lots of logs...which log? Easy find with Baktrak n SJamp.
#15 for Greyscreek, Baktrak & Sjamp on a cache finding expedition. Lots of logs and plenty of ants that got into the container and had to be chased out. SL. TFTC.
It was late in the afternoon when I came accross this one. The area was nice and abandoned - thankfully. I found the cache after a small hunt and it was in good condition - nicely hidden. TFTC AussieCacher
Parked and walked down past all the logs to this one. While signing the log (cache log that is) I was sprung but a lady walking her two little dogs, luckily I saw her coming and covered the cache. We made small talk about the dogs and off she trotted.
Cache, log book and stamp all in good order.

Second last cache of the day, and the final of 8-of-8 cache types to be found in one day (virtual, event, traditional, earth, mystery, whereigo, multi and letterbox!). Had the place to myself and found the cache pretty quickly (after resorting to the hint!). Took a photo of the lovely sunset, but after uploading it to the pc I've realised it's burry as heck, so I think it's headed for the recycle bin! TFTC AussieCacher ^_^
A quick find with the geoson leading the way with the GPSr. Thanks Aussie Cacher.
Found while caching with TeamBooo, Boo'sDad and Glenwarra69 - my first letterbox!
Found quite quickly with Teambooo, Glenwarra69 and Rebeccavoy. This was Rebeccavoy's first letterbox and our second. It was also our 5th find for the day.

Cache Hunt 451; GAFF1; Weather, Sunny; Helpers, None; Cache condition, Good; Find of the day, 1st; STATUS - Found; GPS at GZ - 3m
This was the start of a day caching and Abseiling in the mountains with Steveishere. I ducked in for a cheeky find before getting to his place at 6.50am. Gate was locked, so got out and walked the 150 or so metres. Gps took me exactly to gz with a quick find. SL, but had no ink to stamp. Nice easy one. TFTC.

Gate was closed but still a very easy flat walk on the black top of about 200 mt. After seeing a snake earlier in the day the boy was looking at every stick just in case. Love it when the first place you look turns up the cache.

I didn't have an ink pad so just drew the stamp image in the log book.

Ok off to a quick start with this being our first for the arvo.
Its funny how I would drive past this gate nearly every day and It use to always be open and now that there is a cache in there it is shut.
Any way quick walk in from the Pgeomobile and we were on target.
Filled out the paper work and and check contents out.

We took a short stroll into this lovely bit of bushland. What great logs all along the track, must have been a few big trees here! There were plenty of birds singing today too - just such an enjoyable spot. TFTC

Our first of a few Letterbox Hybrids on our Rouse Hill Assault day. Good patch of semi untouched bush and the beautiful sound of bellbirds. I love em.
Nice easy find and only our third letterbox cache! Thanks for the cache, AussieCacher!
With netball season only a couple of weeks away now, the gates were closed and there were no muggles driving to/from the carpark to interrupt the search or to say "g'day"... so all in all a quick and find after a short and pleasant stroll.

I just remember falling over. I tried to walk around the locked gate and slipped coming down the slope and landed against a bag of glass bottles. I walked along next to the logs and some soil gave way and I fell, turning like a car on a speedway. We found the cache, but I just remember falling over a lot, even when I tried to get back up. Is this normal?
Thanks
Thanks
Yeas there were lots of logs. The geohubby charged ahead of us and payed for his charge. He found it first but may have a bruise from falling over to prove it. TFTC

There aren't many 'letterboxes' out there, so it was a pleasure to find a new one set up by AussieCacher.
I didn't quite know what this 'driveway' was all about but in the end it didn't matter. Parking at the locked gate, I walked a hundred metres or so following my GPSr and Robert was my mother's brother!
Container was in good shape and the contents were dry. Log book already had two entries written in it so I was 3TF. (No-one had as yet reported a find online, so I had had some faint hopes here, despite the crowds at the event on Sunday.)
I didn't have an official stamp with me but brought a colourful sticker, which I left in the log book.
TNLNSL.
Many thanks again to AussieCacher.

This was an easy walk from the locked gate to GZ where we quickly located the cache, exchanged swaps and headed back to the geo-mobile before some trail bike riders appeared from further down the road. Thanks.
