Headed down the thin black line again to the North Western Suburbs of the Big Smoke. Vie Ryde then out to Rouse Hill, Windsor, Annangrove etc again this morning to try my luck and find some caches I missed last trip and have some fun. It would have been a great cache except for the Paranoid neighbour. TFTC
After a damp Christmas day it was time to grab a few more local caches and this was one of them.
Love the log placed by the Cheeky Cachers using a cherry picker up this very unused road, that is great cover for caching.
Like others I tangled with ants, mozzies and lantana trying to reach this cache.
Thanks AussieCacher for placing these guys so that we could find them and all the others.

We were just down the road (track?) at the Paintball cache, and I noticed this one just a little bit further down. How could I leave it unfound?
Lantana was a bit nasty, but I managed to avoid catching any delicate parts on it.
Thanks

! STRUTH !
The RMS should fix the pot-holes !
Not easy driving a cherry picker down here, but this made for a perfect cover when gentleman at the end asked if I was checking the power lines?
OF Course I am
Nice cache Thanks

Found on Day 17 of my holiday caching streak. Parked the car on the wet and sloshy road. Hasn't even rained for about a week!! Walking towards ground zero spotted a likely place for a cache. Had to duck under some overgrown thorny weeds. What a fantastic little spot to hide a cache!! Log signed and cache returned. TFTC AussieCacher
This was my second find of five on the way to work via what I term the “country route”, which I enjoy taking from time to time. It was still pretty gloomy and my GPSr failed on the walk in from “Paintball”. Happily, a re-start got it back up and running and I found the cache without any dramas. Thanks again AussieCacher.
Heading out to western Sydney today. Hoojar and I set about finding some of the many caches that dot the area.
Continuing down the dirt road we soon had this one in hand.
Thanks

Gps was off on the first pass and i nearly made it all the way along the "road" stopped at 5m on the way back and made an easy find
The marshall at the paintball tried to corral me into the carpark & seemed puzzled that I didn't want to go there. Anyway, on to GZ and a quick find. Nice, simple but effective hide. Thanks AussieCacher.
Catching up on some local caches today. Another that we have missed. Took ages for GPS to settle. Look out for all that lovely lantana, oh an there are stinging nettles as well.

We were excited to see this road as we could grab a couple of caches on route. No such luck though and a youi was the call of the day after doing the deed.

Had to navigate a bit of lantana to get to the cache, hate the stuff. Thanks for the cache
With recent rain and a slight drizzle starting again, wasn’t sure how close I’d get to this one. Worth walking the potentially muddy track the 400 or so metres from the main road or risk the drive? Found the gravel road in good condition to within 30 metres of GZ though had to do some tricky manoeuvring around some deep muddy ditches to reverse away from the point of no return. As for the cache itself, once gps settled down to a spot 10m from my search’s initial starting point, made an easy find.
Found this afternoon on a quick run around the area. Thankfully the road in was dry today and I managed to park adjacent to GZ for an easy find.
TNLN and thanks AussieCacher for the cache.

Well this "road" is so much more fun after rain! First I needed to slide my way through the thick mud and then conquer the rocky terrain, so glad I did this cache while I still had the all wheel drive. After finding the cache I figured that going straight ahead had to be the easy way in, how wrong I was! Got within 100 meters of Annangrove Road to discover that even the locals have not used this road in a long time. Saw a fox and a rabbit, made a U turn and navigated my way back the way I came. Pretty clever .. If u go by car take it from the tar edwards road side and turn around when ur at the cache.. Unless u have a 4wd
A quick find today even though I came here when it was released stuffed up the co-ordinates and missed out finding it on the day, so with the correct numbers punched in easy find, TNLN thanks.
Road was dry when I rode my push bike down here!! Found the cache fairly quick!! Nice hide!
Being nice and dry, I drove all the way to GZ without any problems. Wasn't game to take on the track that continued on so went back the way I came.
If I still had my 4wd I would of went straight through.

After a long walk up the slippery and muddy "road" after a week of rain, we were rewarded with the find. Geo-son had a look at people getting shot at the nearby paintball skirmish park. TFTC.
I really didnt know this road went through here. Quick find once at GZ. Ty AussieCacher
Found fairly quickly, clever hide
Not a good idea to look for in your thongs though.

Down from Queensland for a weekend raid with Tassiegirl13, Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ghost Gums, lochb, La Kedi, an Rebel Acts.
A trip down the road that goes...., if I'd had the Bedmobile I'd know.
Nevermind the geomobile we were in today did us proud and got us to within 5 meters.

This was, cache # 27 of 51 finds for the day, On day two of the MCBC raid on Sydney. I almost went the whole length of the road, but the car was not quiet a 4WD. My thanks to AussieCacher for the cache.
Well, who'd a thunk it... The road does go here... [^] We were pleasantly surprised it went that far as it was getting hotter by the minute and after a full day on the trails, we were not in the mood for much walking in the heat...
The mighty hire car got is there though and all was well... [^]
Cheers AussieCacher.

I was imagining illicit activities going on here at night so stood back and directed my friend: search over there! And he did, and it was there . Tried driving further down the track, but that's pretty much a 4WD track, so we performed a precarious turn and drove out the way we'd come in. Lots of rubbish further down supports my illicit activity theory! TFTC. =^.^=

A road thought there? GPSr wanted to take me, what looked like into someones property, so instead, I drove around and found another way in. Sure enough, A road goes here and once I hit GZ, I jumped out of the car, followed the GPSr arrow and made a quick find. SL, TNLN and replaced. Nice camo! TFTC.

Pretty busy day geocaching with a start before 6-00am. Nice tour around the area and plenty of good caches found. This cache was located fairly quickly. Parked by cache. SL TFTC
#24 for today with Baktrak. It seemed like a really good idea at the time to drive right up to the cache - that will save time.... I'm sure cars had more ground clearance 30 years ago.
Well we found the cache, signed the log, and managed to drive away. But I wouldn't call this a 'drive by'! SL. TFTAdventure.

And what a road! Found with sjamp and then we continued along the "road" without doing too much damage to the poor little car - not recommended without a 4WD or truck! TFTC
A road goes here indeed? I thought we were going to be confronted by hillbilly's at any moment. Parked about 10 meters from GZ and made the find very quickly. TFTC.
drove right up to GZ (im so lazy i love these ones!) and Haroo came up with the find. TFTC
Sometimes the ones you think are easy are not ,the iphone gps had us 15mts away from the cache, cant wait for a gps.tftc.
Ahh the places one takes one's rental car I putted to GZ - thankfully without seeing any muggles. I found the well-concealed cache after a small hunt. It was in good condition. Good old TomTom reported this road as well. TFTC AussieCacher
I've noticed phantom roads on the car GPS when I've driven through here before. Near here but not this one there's a spot where she tells you to "continue straight" when there's no choice.
Drove past the paintball place and the dodgy looking yard with "no entry" signs before getting near GZ and making a quick find. These containers are starting to look familiar today!
Thanks!

wow a conventional cache for a change, have been doing so many micros eyes are starting to hurt.
Quick find - nice hide. Could hear people getting shot in the distance (with paintballs, but they can still hurt!). SL, TFTC! VK2GOM - Rob & Biscuit the Beagle.
17:00 Fifth and final cache for the day. Quick find, nicely hidden. Love the camo! Wasn't sure if I was close enough to the paintballers to be struck by a stray projectile. Great fun! SL TFTC
Found with Teambooo, Glenwarra69 and Rebeccavoy. It was teambooo who came up with the goods just as the rain came down. TYFC
Nice easy to GZ by car. Thanks for leading us this place. discovered coin before jackjay took it.
Our 4984th overall find.
11:18 AM we headed out to get this one today. The area is fairly familiar to us as a friend used to live just down the road. We made the find quickly and were back on our way.
Thanks to AussieCacher for the cache.

I parked the geo-ute, walked about 5M and spotted a very likely spot - which was 100% correct, so the cache was in hand in no time.
No swaps, but visited a couple of TB's.
I had come in past the paintball entry so thought I may as well keep driving the "road" - bad choice, DON'T BOTHER, the track became an overgrown path, and I had to reverse a slppery section before I could turn around. I doubt it would be viable in a jeep, but it just might be.

Found with Purplepeopleater and a friend. gave up and then Geodad found the cache. Weird house nearby I wonder if anyone lives there?
The last for the afternoon's cache hunt and was quite dark. The boys had given up but the old bloke used his rat cunning to come up with the goods.

A road goes here and still does as we drove all the way until parked next to GZ. May be a road realignment caused to section to left to nature.

I had time to grab a couple of caches on my way to the nursery at Annangrove. Drove up to GZ and, apart from meeting an 8 legged friend, I had the place to myself. I could hear the paintballing going on in the distance. The cache was soon discovered and thought how appropriate the camouflage considering the local activity. With the logbook signed and cache returned, I was on my way. I guess there was a proper road here at some long ago time. Thanks AussieCacher for the hide.

Plenty of rubbish dumped along track what a shame. Watch for snakes during the hot summer months.
Geoson and I decided to park the car and walk to this one, not a bad walk after all.

I was surprised at just how far in the road goes and it looks like it continues further down too...... I would have venture further to if I'd been in the old Land Rover but I was happy just to claim another find Oh! and a couple of coins Thanks for the cache!
