Site has been excavated, some trees were dug up to make way for a new storm-water drain, suspect the cache might have gone missing in the process. Might be worth the CO doing a quick cache-check if possible.
As noted by Paul_the_Hippy in his previous DNF log, the site has been excavated and work has now completed, it seems some trees were dug up to make way for a new storm-water drain and I wonder if the cache has been destroyed in the process? Might be worth the CO doing a quick cache-check if possible.
Headed down the thin black line again to the North Western Suburbs of the Big Smoke. Vie Ryde then out to Rouse Hill, Windsor, Annangrove etc again this morning to try my luck and find some caches I missed last trip and have some fun. Nice and easy this time. Great cache. TFTC
Found early this morning. I looked around, no luck then thought "its gotta be round here somewhere" then realised I was standing on it which although close to the co-ords, did not really match the cache description or hint. SL and replaced where I found it.

I was on my way to collect YGAT from work and had just picked up the Chirp at “The Chirping Forest”. As this cache was very close I decided to give it a go. It wasn’t quite where I expected it to be, so it wasn’t an instant find, but before too long I had CIH.
Thanks AussieCacher.
Thanks AussieCacher.
The road crew had moved further up the road so we were able to pick up this one easily today. It may have moved a bit or the landscape changed somewhat as the clue doesn't quite fit with where we found it.
Needed to kill some time whilst waiting for an appointment so did a quick search and came found this one cache in good order was out in the open so recovered a bit better TFTC found with LJ 05, Caitcat 17 and hiddit!!
Couldn't get within cooee of this today. Road works and new pipes going in on side of road. All fenced off and trucks and work crews blocking access.
Found it!! Good camo found in a great hiding spot. Signed, sealed and replaced with camo. TFTC!!

I was following the arrow on my GPS, heading towards some trees to look for this cache & failed to notice the very low lying remains of trees until I tripped over them. I think this is the first time I've found a cache by tripping over it.
So this ended up being my last cache for the day. I was already wet from the last few caches, and now I was dirty & sore, so just heading home seemed like a good idea.
Thanks

Found on the way back to the office after a morning job in the area. The cache should be renamed "Where the Trunks Met". There were surveyors all along the road some maybe some widening works is in the pipeline? Many thanks AussieCacher
Rode down from WRPT series to have CIH without much fuss. Thanks Aussie cacher for the hide. SL
Found, while visiting Sydney.
Trees have been cut down, cache easier to find.
T: tiny shell, TB
L: Fairy, foam stickers

An easy find once we stopped looking for full-sized trees and looked at nubs.

Looking for the wrong trunks for quite a while.
TFTC. Found with azazzlenic and Team Webguy.

Came and grabbed the TB, gee how could you miss it now, the trees are all gone, when I found it it was a scramble through the trees no you just step up to the plate. Covered it with more camo but may be prudent to move this one as it is now very exposed and may get mistaken in a clean up which needs to happen here.
Found in its odd little spot. The Evil Nemesis card is there. I took a pic of it just in case I decide to do this. Pleasant little spot by the creek. Thanks AussieCacher.
We have attempted this one previously with no luck, so GeoDad and GeoSon 'M' decided to have another attempt this afternoon. We couldn't get a GZ with the phone and GPS unable to settle. Was about to give up and then I spotted something..... Got it! Had CIH and day 83 now found. TFTC
Cache found exactly at 0m but the trunks are just stumps now. CO may need to reposition slightly.
Have covered with some Camo for now.

The name of this cache might need to be changed as the trunks no longer exist, having been very recently cut down. Still found the cache at base in good condition. Thanks! Lovely quick Fathers Day find.
Good hide. Took me longer than it should have.
Cache in good order despite all the wet weather.

Quick easy find on a saturday afternoon. Love the camo. Spent more time picking off the hitchhikers that attached to us. But thats the nature of caching so didnt worry us. Replaced log bag with a new one as it was split and log was a little damp. sl tftc
Quiet enough to park on the main road almost next to GZ but gps still took a while to settle and reveal actual cache which was barely camouflaged. Worst experience of this hide was not only the burrs/farmers friends in and all over my clothes and bag but all through my hair. Note to self – pack a brush in my caching kit!
Found With Team Unibolt on our assult on some of the many caches in sydney anoter Aussiecacher hide on a day we have already found so many I guess that will happen when you have over three hundred hides
Quick find and sign Thanks

A nice little drive bye cache that didn't have us looking to long at all. The cache was quickly recovered from its hide and the log signed. We soon had it returned to its hide and were on our way.
Found this afternoon in pouring rain. The cache is all ok though.
TNLN and thanks AussieCacher for the cache.

Gunnie69 suggested a possible location and GhostGums obliged by reaching in & retrieving the cache..
Sometimes it can be that easy

A nice quick drive by for the group. We managed to park within a few metres and wander over. As we got there I suggested the cache could be there and Ghostgums reached in and retrieved the container... Team work... [^]
I grabbed the resident TB to get back on the road, we placed a group sticker in the log and dropped the cache back in place... Now, onto the next.
Cheers AussieCacher.

Another find in Sydney in a one day trip to pick up a new car for my daughters boyfriend who caches under MrDavid. My daughter Jessica caches under Bomb.Shell. We had a little time to pick up a few finds in the Sydney area. Also had my little boy Mr James with me.
Grabbed this one on the way out to pick up David's new car. Quick driveby find, cheers and TFTC.

Relief finally, after a few DNF's tonight and initially making this one harder than needed to be, looked in the last of my possibilities and had CIH. very thankfully. SL and left contents. cheers

Managed to squeeze a 12th cache in with GeoGirl, who after a few hours was ready to call it a day. I pulled up, read the description and went straight in for the find. Easy and clever. Thanx AC, TFTC.

Reperio at 0935. This one was a quick impromptu drive by find on the way from Wiseman's Ferry to Carlingford this morning for the AGM event. A few options to search around but soon spotted it just in time before someone came past.

Well they were coming thick and fast by this time, so many caches out this way and this was our 15th find of the day. Parked across the bridge and walked back to make a quick find. Not exactly pine needles but I get it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Nice hiding spot. In the past I have not been too successful with this type of hide, but no problems this time. The likely hiding spot was... well, likely SL, TNLN. TFTC! VK2GOM - Rob & Biscuit the Beagle.
16:15 Quick find thanks to description. It was exactly where I thought it would be. Took the Breast Cancer awareness TB, left nothing. SL TFTC.
Found something that made me think "oh no it's been muggled" but of course I was wrong! Easy find TFTC
oops i signed 11th May should be June. found it with jackjay boys. nice easy for us. Thanks for bringing us here
Our 4980th overall find.
10:29 AM I made a mess of this one. As I was less than a meter from GZ I dropped the GPS and it ended up way down near the water. I climber down after it and started my search from down there. In the mean time Matt got out of the car and walked straight over to the cache! - I hate it when that happens.
Thanks to AussieCacher for the cache.
