There was a stirring, Anaconda sensed another nearby. She made her way down the Canning River to the Kent Street Weir and with a quick look back she was gone.
GSAGC #314. More successful with this Anaconda cache So is this the type of container to look for? TFTH.
Accompanied with BruceHoose for the day. The weather is nice day for geocaching, We enjoyed search, found and signed the log at 10.29am. Thanks Amstradkid.
Just 3 finds for the day while the kids amused themselves on the playground in the oval area . Quick find. Tftc
So I said I was going home for a beer but after the last find i found myself close to here and couldn't resist a look. Now it's definitely time for that beer. Three scales today! TFTC
Found @ 08:19.
Find #08 (with 2x DNF) of a long caching day!
Was expecting something smaller, so this was a pleasant surprise!
As previous log stated, it was a bit exposed - seemed the bark cover fell off before I visited... Replaced and covered once log was signed.

I was on fire this morning! So many scales logged. If this was the black sprayed red M&Ms tube it was a quick find since the cache was exposed. Rehid in the same spot with a little bit of bark covering it. Thanks for the cache AmstradKid.
I was talking to mistraluna yesterday and she suggested how about going for a day of geocaching. The hardest part was deciding where to go as we have both covered differant areas so she came up with lets do the Anaconda series so i thought why not that doesnt look to hard...How wrong was i, All i can say is Amstradkid most of your hides are EVIL, we did get a few fairly easy ones (not many) but overall we did pretty well with only 2 DNFS. Its lucky we spotted this cache very easily so i can happilly say this was a quick find. TFTH Amstradkid
Out today with OOH YEH to try and tame this huge reptile. Don't know what made us think that this series would be a mere stroll in the park (or along a babbling brook as the case may be), but we gave it our best shot. Spotted this one very quickly. Two DNF's, two not attempted, but all the rest of them found. Great day of geocaching. Thanks AmstradKid
Didnt need to consult gps after arriving in vicinity, quick find.
4 up - 2 down so far on this series.

After striking out at Anaconda Nasorostral I was very pleased to make a quick find here in the obvious location. And this was a larger cache as well.
It's a nice location by the river. Thanks for the cache AmstradKid!

Out on my geo bike for a ride once I hit GZ and a little search I had he cache in my hand TFTC!!
Found with richlink on our quest for the Giant Anaconda. We are feeling a lot happier now after a slow start. TFTH.
Approached gz with iluvtrekking and made an easy find - phew. Feeling a bit better about the series as the odds were now on our side - 4 finds and 2 DNF's so far.
My last cache of the day. As I got close to the GZ I was looking for a bridge - but it was not there!!! Flash flood maybe had taken it? Then I returned to reality as my Geocacher pointed to another tried and true cache spot. After a minute I had the cache in hand. Have read about this type of hide but never come upon one before. Cool The rest of the snake will have to wait a bit longer for me.

Dodging the rain this morning I decided to go back to this one, as CO had replaced cache. I arrived at GZ with preconceived notions where the cache was and began to over think the situation. AmstradKid is tricky so will try to hide this beasty better so it would not go missing again. Well 10 mins searching and no cache...maybe the rain on my glasses is blurring my vision. A quick call to CO to confirm that the cache was there and all of a sudden the cache was located. OK I rehid the cache SL TFTC AmstradKid....
Out and about working in the area so I called by to have a look for this cache. I arrived at the GZ and the area had been thoroughly scoured before I had got there. A thorough look around the obvious places and some not so obvious, failed to reveal the cache. Maybe the hide is too sneaky for me. Rang CO and he feel it has gone, so he will check on the cache soon. TFTH DB SAF AmstradKid
After a good search and a sweep with a metal detector cache is gone.
Replaced with M&M container.

I was hoping to make it 3 out of 3 but a young couple with their dogs kept watching me, so quick poke around didnt produce anything....this will keep for another day i suppose...

Didn't have too much of a search but didn't have any luck... Well try again soonish
After trying to catch hold of the Anaconda’s head yesterday without success I decided to attack the middle of the beast today.
I had a long search, not sure why.
Thanks AmstradKid.

We must be getting used to the diet of nanos as we struggles to find this cache today. Fortunately, low muggle count today - zero!
thanks, Robmc.
thanks, Robmc.
I'm not sure why this bigger cache took so long to locate.
Perhaps we were led into the same traps that others had before us.
Certainly lots of signs of long searches here.
Good to cross it off the list

Was just about to give up as I was being watched by a dog and his owner was hanging out washing. Had one last poke around and the it was!!!

Found with my brother this morning. Wasn't hidden as I expected it to be and found within a couple of minutes on arrival on site today. So, why oh why did we not find this last time?!? TFTC!
Found quickly this morning on a day out caching with my brother. Can't believe we missed it last time! TFTC
First find in the Anaconda series for us.
We are looking forward to doing this series. Thanks for all your effort!

What? Not a nano? Pleasant change which was much appreciated. My eyesight is strained enough trying to unroll and reroll these little micro / nano cylinder things. TFTC.
Today we started this series of caches, beginning at the head of the snake and working our way towards the end. This took us quite a while to locate. The cache was bigger than expected which you would think would have made the find quicker, but it didn't - we just looked in all the wrong places before J B somehow managed to find it. TFTH
After seeing the last logs didn't hold much hope for this one but spot on coords took me straight to cache. TFTC.
Arranged to tackle more of the Anaconda series with duncdonut73. Arrived at the GZ and spent a bit of time looking at all the obvious places, but were unable to find the cache.
A quick find on this one which was good as I spend ages at the previous hide without a find. TFTC
one of 22 caches I found in this series on a mountain bike....started at tail and worked my way to the head.....This is the best series I have done to date and highly recommend it....in fact if you would like to show someone what geocaching was all about take them through this series...I was lucky enough to find all of them, mostly because all coords were spot on....take no notice of previous logs every coord was bang on the money...thank you so much AmstradKid
(I apologise for replicating logs but my memory is not what it used to be)

On arrival the GPS pointed me to the other side of the stream. I thought it was unlikely but crossed over nearby anyway but when I got there it pointed back the other way so crossed back again. It never settled down to anything other than the stream so I searched the closest tree and found the cache after a small search.
Thanks for the cache.
