Day #4. My last minute WAGB adventure continues today! Road tripping again. After a night in Narrogin Im southward bound towards Albany, picking up some old caches as well as LGAs and other things along the way. This one had me puzzled initially, but I eventually found it.A big thanks goes to ~Tango~ for taking the time to add Slow coach - Mount Pleasant to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 34 - Kojonup to William via Arthur River and Darken. After a long wet and cold night it was time to get going again. I relented and had a hot breakfast at the Kojonup bakery before starting. From there it was a bit of local caching and then the days drive. There was a fun detour to Boscabel where there was a nice hall and nothing else. Arthur River was another spot, this time on the highway where there is a lot of historical remains, but not much going on other than a road house. A bit of a surprise really. Darken was next to take in the County, but it was another very small council town. I finished the day in William but still needing several more caches, I spent the afternoon caching as well, the highlight was a nature walk just to the north. I ended the day with another great pub meal with a bit of a surprise. Tomorrow is another day near William doing trail caching for tomorrows target. My exploration of Arthur River started with this cache, and after reading a few logs I gave up looking where I expected and started elsewhere. Even then I struggled to locate this one and was happy when I did eventually find it.Thanks for the cache ~Tango~47201.10 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & May 2023 Wander Where the Wind Blows A#527**Albida**
Found with Aquilus1 on our fabulous week in WA. 'Not a caching trip, its a holiday' I was led to believe, yet we did seem to stop quite a lot in odd and out of the way places! Always an adventure with her!!! Thanks for you cache as we pass through and see more of this fab SW corner of the state.
We were completing the AL, so it made perfect sense to look for this cache, too.i wandered about for a few moments till I thought through a few options, an easy find really once I got there! An enjoyable location to explore, thanks for the cache.
Have no idea why we struggled here in the past.TFTC tangowithcupcake this is find #16469 for us.
Interesting location and really glad to have a cache that encouraged us to stop. Tftc
Found during a caching tour from Collie to Donnybrook, Bridgetown, Boyup Brook and Arthur River, then south along the Albany Highway. Nice historic locality to have a wander around. Thanks for the cache ~Tango~!
TFTC. Nice stop on our way to Porongurups. Stuck behind a bridge on the back of a truck so good to get out of the car and then well catch them up later!
Such a picturesque little place for a cache. Found on a road trip down South. Thanks for placing and maintaining:)
We are exploring Western Australia by collecting lgas, a great way to find places we wouldn't otherwise visit. This place was amazing, the lovely ladies who were spinning on the verandah gave us the grand tour, we purchased some hand made winter woolies and explored the history of the place.
Cache was found quickly as we knew we could enter the stables. Tftc

Travelling around with geo friends, and today we are heading south to Albany for an overnight stay.
To save room in log books, we have signed our individual caching names or Team East.
This was a lovely stopover where we had a little nudge from the two friendly ladies who then gave us a tour around.
Thanks, tangowithcupcake, for bringing us to this interesting location

After a very enjoyable few days down in Albany, today was the day to drive home (and avoid the post-long weekend busy roads tomorrow As always, I popped a few caches in the GPS to pick up along the way - including this one I had stopped here on the way down to pick up the AL stages, however saved this trad for the drive back All was quiet here when I arrived. Cache took far longer than expected to locate given the size and limited options at GZ. I looked high, low, in and out... went back to the car for a torch, and was still seeing nothing. After scanning for hints in previous logs I narrowed things down a bit and after a good thorough search I finally made the find. Phew! This one almost got away! All good here though today - TFTC
A very interesting place to stop this one to cost quite awhile to find and we were just about to give up when it was spotted. Thanks
Stopped here while doing the AdLab nearby and as luck would have it there was 2 muggles spinning wool right on the porch....nothing for it but to be honest about what we are up to.
One lady knew exactly where the cache was and we got a lovely history lesson and tour around and she took us directly to the cache (that her granddaughter had accidentally found!)
What a unique little stop with loads of history. Thank you ~Tango~ for placing and maintaining Slow coach - Mount Pleasant for us and others to find and enjoy!
Great spot, enjoyed the tour and history.... FP well deserved

On our way to Esperance, stopped by in this historic town for a quick spot of caching. Cheers team!
Today TaurusSix and I are having an early start to get away for the weekend, exploring and geocaching. Our aim is to head down to the Stirling Ranges checking out the wildflowers and doing some short walks and of course along the way we will collect as many geocaches as practical. Making our way there via Collie, Darkan, Arthur River then down Albany Highway until turning off at Cranbrook. As we were getting ready last night for our early start today we noted a new cache had come out just up the road in Bunbury and as tempted as we were to go get it we decided to leave it until this morning and start the day on a roll with hopefully a FTF, which we are happy to say we achieved. The drive this morning is very peaceful and beautiful with the clouds in the sky adding to the excellent sunrise. We wanted to get a few kilometres under our belt before we started our geocaching stops.
This is our eighth cache find of the day along with an Adventure Lab What a truly interesting place this is. A neat little piece of history almost in a time bubble. Cache had us confused at first , then it dawned on us and we soon located it. Thanks for bringing us to this great location tangowithcupcake

With a previous finder assisting we were able to find the cache quickly.
Was good fun to have a look around the area and checkout the heritage of the area.

Down for the weekend in Quindanning to knock off the Boddington LGA series with a number of Perth cachers. This was one of my stops for the weekend. Apologies for the generic logs. Cheers ~Tango~!
This cache was signed as Team MILCKS, who are travelling in convoy back to Perth via Williams, Arthur River and Collie.

What an interesting stop over. Perfect for a lunch stop and a cache. Thank you.
Last time I traveled this way the restoration was still in progress. So wonderful to stop and soak up the history. TFTC to make he stop even better
The sign said the shop was open here on a Thursday but no one was around. We spent some time walking around and reading the fascinating stories here. FP for the history here! Cheers

Man! This was a good one. GPS a bit jumpy but I got it in the end. Loki was ‘a good boy’ and didn’t take anything from the cache We even had help from Meemar and Ally to find this one.

Found it, was a tough one as didn’t know if we were allowed in the certain place but found it in the end and signed the log, thanks
Thanks for bringing us to somewhere we've driven past lots of times. Good spot for a hide and a good excuse to stop.
We stopped to hunt this one just as the sun was setting, so it became our last one for the day on a record setting day for us. This one being find 72 for the day. Once at gz a quick search turned up our prize. We signed your log book and returned your cache back to where it lives. This is a really interesting place. I loved the history of the place. Travelling home from a quick trip to Albany with axell33 we got out to stretch the legs. I enjoyed the historical value of this lovely spot marking half way! Thankfully it's an easier journey these days. The stone work of the 'new' town hall is impressive! Thank you for showing us this little piece of our history. Log signed and cache returned. Our last one for today as we make our run for home. Greetings from Baldivis.
This was a nice quick find on our way south. Sadly though a car has somehow crashed into the old post office and I fear it is irreparable . Tftc
Our WA road trip begins today with an early start from Perth and making our way south to Albany. Our aim was to find at least one cache from each LGA we passed through - and we were able achieve this with just one DNA - we thought a swarm of bees around GZ wasn't worth a smilie!! Thank you to all the COs that placed and maintain caches along this highway - it certainly enhanced our trip!
Out and about caching today from Perth down to Albany. Did many caches along the way and thank you CO for placing the cache at that location. Found cache and signed log, then placed cache back where found. TFTC
We found it quickly and as it was raining it was very good that we could log inside a hut.

We have been enjoying our visit to the South West but today is the day we need to head back to Perth prior to jumping on the Indian Pacific to head back to South Australia. But along the way we wanted to break the drive at least every two hours and it seemed sensible to do it as places where there were geocaches like here

I love Western Australian history. Thank you for placing this here for us to enjoy.
First cache in a while! Foolishly too shy to open a closed door for too long. After that it was a fast find.
Thanks for giving me an excuse to stop and have a look at a place I always drive past

with the help of a nice lady whom happened to be spinning wool on the veranda also took us for a guided tour of buildings and arts . well worth the stop TFTC TNLN
After spending too long looking for it. Familysteiner found it in one of the first spots she mentioned. Tftc
Driving to Denmark, earmarked some LGAs to bag along the way. Second find of the day here, definitely worth the stroll over from the road house for the sense of history and isolation that the first settlers felt. Mrs O. made the find in a slightly unexpected spot. TFTC tangowithcupcake!
Found with Rainbow Scjaz, AKC124, geokid Z and geodog M on our way home from visiting friends near Denmark. This cache is my 300th find! Tftc and bringing us to this interesting place
Found with Scjaz and geodog M on our way home from a beautiful weekend away in Denmark. Tftc. SL, tnln
A second attempt at this one. The first time was in the dark and we completely missed it, however the first place we looked this time, we had it! Snatched up the trackable as well. TFTC
