I am going to join the bandwagon and claim a find although the cache is impossible to retrieve. I spied it sitting at the bottom of the hole but had no hope to collect.
The CO really should rectify this cache or archive it.

This needs maintenance urgently because no one can sign the log and it is an inconvenience to cachers as well trying to get it out and loosing possible magnets.

Logging this as found, but as other recent finders have noted it is not possible to actually retrieve it and sign the log book
I found it with my torch but could not sign the log as the cache is totally irretrievable. Thanks anyway.
17/10/12 7:55 AM. Cache #172. Current streak: 38 days. Found the cache but couldn't retrieve it to sign, as it's all the way down the hole.
Such an easy find but the hardest thing is getting it out I think the cache fell off the lamp post an into the whole

Nope. I couldn't find it. Kids are starting to wonder if dad is crazy. I told them that this will be so mush fun!
OH MY GOODNESS well, we certainly found it, but we couldn't get it!!! Really spent about an hour and a half all up using various tools to try and retrieve it, but in the end, all we got was a chipped nail, a few scratches and we lost three magnets. You certainly need to reach really hard to get this one! I think its virtually impossible to get. Maybe it needs to be re hidden so it doesn't fall down and get stuck again.
Very good hide but a bit boring Found four caches in the same area and same container. think out of the box
Another hide of the same type in this area. Nice spot, found with GeocachingAmy. TFTC
Not too difficult, but good hide. Came down from Lake Macquarie - this was a quick drive-by while in Squidley to pick up ebay purchase. It's mayhem down here during school pick-up time, glad to get out of the place. Whew.
We had been travelling for a while so decided to stop and stretch out legs. Crossing the road was a challenge! Easy find thanks....
We stopped by here after a lovely bushwalk. Not too hard to retrieve for us luckily. TFTC
Great cache! Had slipped down so GK 2's arm was required. (GK 2 had to be lifted by Geodad.) Thanks for this cache!
After a couple of other frustrating ones this morning it was good to get a nice quick find. Tftc
nice hide , added a new log as the other one was full. also good waypoint cache. TFTC
I am glad that I found this quickly thanks to the clue - having hid one identically myself I knew exactly where to look.
The kids were on a chocolate high after visiting the local chocolate cafe ,what better way to burn off some energy trying to find a cache.TFTC

Mobile phones are a great way to loiter but not look suspicious. Waited a while near cache for a break in traffic before making grab for cache. Returning cache was alot quicker and easier. Tftc
Nice quick cache with Athompson and DanBarton. TFTC

#185 Read about the war memorial before going to the cache location on a quiet and beautiful morning. Thanks for taking me here. TFTC!
Find #1069 - 3 for today. Found on 26/06/11 12:05 PM
Careful not to drop it, a quick drive by. Thanks TNSLLN

Number five for the afternoon. Fortunately there was a parking spot at GZ so the cache was in hand in no time. SL TFTC.
Reperio at 0910. Once i arrived at GZ, this one was found very quickly, however, it proved a little difficult to retrieve since the cache was pushed too far down to reach by hand. With a little ingenuity, I got there, and made sure to leave it in a much more accessible spot.

Cache has drifted out of reach. We're logging it as a find anyway. CO might want to look into it.
Cycle caching trip this morning. None of us had arms long and thin enough to reach the cache. Tried with a stick but still unsuccessful.
Found with Joshua.Hamey late one Sunday evening in the rain and cold. Retreated quickly to car. TFTC
Found quickly on a stop by on the way home from Max Brenner. Nice and dark and wet... Also managed to somehow drop it half-way down.. sorry! It's not that far down though, someone with narrower arms than me might be able to retrieve it! SL. TFTC!
A popular spot to drive past - this time I stopped for a quick find. Thanks geosamurai!
Find #717
no hint, no trouble.
As I pulled up I picked the likely spot from the car and managed to park right beside it. There were no muggles, but it was still only about 5.15am.
The memorial is worth the visit, and a cache to make it more worthwhile.
Thanks

With the clues and hint, this one was an easy find, thanks Geosamurai.
After the find we crossed the road to visit the bike shop and drool over $7,500 bicycles!

Found fairly quickly after a feed at Pattersons. Log book is a touch damp.

Found this one on the way home from the Supa Centre. I didn't find what I wanted there but I did find this cache at a spot that I driven past many time without bothering to stop. Thank you for making me stop.
going off to the shops to buy something, thought it was good to pass by this one and take a stab. Really good cache, firstly it took a while adjusting but after that it was sweet with the hint.

Back in the area so stopped for another look. There is no way it was there last Sunday, I looked there several times! Oh well, got it now. Thanks Geosamurai111.
Was just passing through and did a cache check. It is still there but the log is hard to retrieve.
This cache was also hidden in the first checked spot. Logbook is wet and would need to be replaced.
After meeting family at the nearby bakery (nice if pricey) we had a look for this on the way home. Unfortunately came up empty handed despite a pretty good search of the obvious spot. That was about 4:30pm, we seem to have been following the Vikings on a few today. Oh well, Anna's mum lives in the area so we will be back sooner or later.
First of the day - before the rain got really serious - so still only slightly damp at this stage. Lots of muggles about but all busy doing their own things so i was more or less invisible as i parked up, found GZ and retrieved the prize. Back to car for the log signing (it's a bit damp, BTW - a small ziplock might help) and all done and dusted!! A lovely unpretentious memorial in a pretty little garden. Shame about the weather. TfTc Geosamurai111 !!
Was expecting more of a reach. A nice easy find with no muggles around in the evening peak hour. Thanks.
Using the clue there was only one place this could be. Nice walk up, grab, sign and off. Thanks Geosamurai111 for a good drive by.

Sitting here right now logging this at GZ while having my lunch.

This one was another one in St. Ives where the description puzzled me a bit. I don't really know this area very well. However, I needn't have worried. I drove to GZ following my dashboard Tom Tom and then, when I pulled over to the side of the road, turned on my GPSr to see how close I'd got. Well, I found that I'd come close to running over the geocache!
A quick check of what likely hiding places were nearby turned up the cache in no time at all. Container was in good shape and the log book was dry. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to Geosamurai111 for the cache and for drawing attention to another memorial to those who fought and died for us in WWI. Lest we forget.

Swung past here on the way to work this morning. I almost missed the park but managed to park 14 metres away from GZ.
I had to wait for some muggles to move out of the area before I homed in on the prize.
Thanks JuniorNSIYeti for the hunt, a nice location.
