Seems to have gone missing again. Time to archive - but the cache did serve its intended purposes and those who found it enjoyed the hide.

OMG... This was the third visit to this cache... FINALLY found it, and only because i got help from Luke 007 who gave me hints where to look.

TFTC, a real tricky hide Smile

26-Mar-12
What a clever cache . heard a lot about it .gave it a go and finaly found it . what a top hide!!!!!!

14-Mar-12
I thought this one would be easy as there aren't so many places to hide anything. Sadly I was wrong. Thanks and I'll be back.

12-Mar-12
Sneaky hide. Took a while to find it. Thanks 80degrees!

12-Mar-12
Found on a short night caching run in Preston - Reservoir - Bundoora together with nadya. Tricky hide, missed it on our 1st attempt.

08-Mar-12
After a brief search, the cache was in hand, a good hide thanks, not a lot of places to hide one around there.

6/03/12 1:14 PM Find #145
Well that took longer than expected.
But a very clever hide just the same.
Once again the iPhone has failed me and was a good 10 Metres out.
"I lift my hat to you sir...a clever hide"
Thank you
Smile

05-Mar-12
Tricky one for sure. Thanks 80degrees.

05-Mar-12
I had something to pick up nearby this afternoon so was able to divert here after 4pm on a Monday arvo. There was definitely no treasure in sight and the overall site looked a bit trashy, however the nicely hidden container made me smile. I looked at the Donuts sign again and immediately felt hungry for some sugary, doughy, jammy treats......mmmmmmmm........

Thanks 80degrees.

04-Mar-12
DNF this one 80degrees, two tricky for us today........Next time maybe.

26-Feb-12
The donuts looked tempting but alas the market was closed. Never mind, there was a cache to find and find it we did. Another great hide and first to sign a nice new logbook. TFTC

04-Feb-12
Attempted this one on a Saturday night, searched in many possible places, tried different ideas, but still no luck Sad

31-Jan-12
Spent about 20mins looking for this one today, but came away empty handed.

31-Jan-12
After the last few DNF logs Mr 80 made a check today and as suspected it had gone so replaced it with a new container - so all good now

29-Jan-12
Didnt find this one today while on an 80degree spree!

Looking at the previous log though it may have been moved?

26-Jan-12
Parked nearby and did the 70m walk to GZ where there was a lack of hiding spots around, checked the obvious spot, nothing there. Checked several other less likely spots with no luck. Time to PAF for the second time today. Jim must be sick of me by now but he confirmed that the cache should be the obvious spot. Looks like this one has gone, even the brute force method of retrieval came up empty. Will watch this one to try again soon, thanks to 80degrees for putting one here

30-Dec-11
After saying goodbye to Firesafe, Froghopping and Honeysucker from SA. I grabbed a few caches on the way home.
Lolled at the cache 3 times before I spotted the attachment.

30-Dec-11
Very well hidden

27-Dec-11
Found at 2110. This cache has been on my hit list for so long and when the very NON-Geohubby ask me if I wanted to go and look for some of those box things we headed over here as he wouldnt go looking in the bushes in the dark!!

I had my geocaching senses working well tonight cache was in my hands within minutes of arriving a GZ. SL TFTC

Found at 1:40PM on the 21st of November by Maya and Ray and Greg and Bev. It was a good challenge. Took 10 minuites to find but was so simple when found. I had to look twice at the location to see the cache. Very cunning hide. TFTC The Nomads

21-Nov-11
Found with the Nomads. Another very clever 80degrees cache that had us scratching our heads for a while. Many thanks,
Greg and Bev

Really quick find on this one. Usually i am a bit cautious searching in places i cant see, but this one seemed a bit different. A fantastic hide, very clever.

Only a few spots to look in this area, wich is also very open. Had the dog on his lead as a decoy, while checking a few of the less obvious spots. Checked the, "what I thought to be the spot" but could not find! Walking away thought, nah.... it has to be there and went back to take another look. Glad I did, nice hide, and yes would not be good to grab on Sunday. Now where can I get some donuts? Mmmmm.

12-Sep-11
Spotted a likely location as I parked 75m away. Bobbled at GZ when my GPSr twitched and searched a silly 1/1 location out of habit; the GPSr then twitched back to my expected target. Grabbed, signed, left.

An insouciant cache placement, indeed!

11-Sep-11
Who spent some time here this afternoon!!!

03-Sep-11
I have only recently converted myself from 'non-caching other half' into an actual cacher. If as owner of this cache you don't want me to log this find, please feel free to delete it. I was present at the time my caching partner LouiseAnn signed this log, I hunted and was involved in the signing, I just didn't have my own profile at the time.

03-Sep-11
After a false start last Sunday (really should read the cache descriptions before I head out!) when the market was closing, I headed back today with the other half, knowing I should be able to make a proper attempt at finding this cache. This cache is on the edge of my 10km from home circle and the only one I had left between 10 o'clock and 1. It's good to have it gone from the circle, but it was also good for this find to be such a neat and tricky hide, even if it ended up being the other half who actually found it, he is getting quite good at this game, for someone who is constantly tell me he isn’t interested. Thanks for the cache 80degrees.

03-Aug-11
Today was a massive day of caching. I woke knowing all I had to do was make my way to the airport and catch a plane to Adelaide for a conference. Along the way I was going to grab a few caches... In the end I think it ended up being 36 or 37. There were a number of tricky hides and a number of easier ones also. It always amazes me how much time must be spent in construction and placement of caches all over the place. Unfortunately this generic log doesn't do them justice but I have to use my iPhone to log them. Thank you for the cache. A.

Great spot. Very tricky.

It was only after a thorough process of elimination here that I was able to find this ingenious sneaky hide. Simple but very clever, loved it!!!
Thanks again 80degrees, love your work.

17-Jun-11
A couple minutes of searching turned up this one. TFTC.

16-Jun-11
A rather odd thing happened here. I was searching around GZ when a worker came up and told me the general area where to look! He had seen others searching (no surprise given the exposed location). He wasn't into "that online stuff", so he's no convert, but was curious about where the thing actually was!

Between the two of us we still couldn't find it so I confess I resorted to the PAF option and the clever hide was soon to hand. I suspect that the worker will be moving on to his next job before too long so others may not get any help.

21-May-11
Spewing I couldnt find it. Looked everywhere. Any chance of getting a clue and are the cords right?

16-May-11
Was having lots of trouble locating this one, and the garbage men inside TTTM and a person parked outside on the road were giving me strange looks. The garbage men passed by and continued on with their work and the other guy lost interest. It was about here that I checked the iPhone for previous logs and other helpful information, only to find that Eudes had been FTF! Was quickly on the phone for some help, and as it turned out I really needed it as the cache had not been replaced in position properly, and would have been extremely difficult to find without help. With Eudes assistance I had it in hand at 11:05am.
thanks 80degrees

Found it with mrs iamapom.- but we needed a lot of help on the phone from 80degrees, who apparently was in the loft at the time. No doubt hiding another sneaky one like this one ! I'm thinking this would be seriously tricky on market day. Tftc and the help.

24-Apr-11
Got it. I've got a craving for donuts now. Tftc sl

23-Apr-11
MMM Donuts , You just never know as I checked this twice but The Empire made the kill - tftc 80degrees

23-Apr-11
Found by Mary & David at 1620. No donuts today, so we've saved some money. TTTM was deserted, so we could search without interruption. We were in luck again, and found it in the first spot we checked. Our thanks to 80degrees once again.

23-Apr-11
We found this cache today at 2:45pm as the 2nd of 12 on our Easter Saturday Easter Rabbitto Ramble. We came out to search for this one somewhat unsucessfully and it wasn't long before Swaggies and soon after, Toy Car had joined in the hunt. Well I can say that I looked in that location 3 times before Iain made the find. I just kept looking at the wrong bit. As an added bit of Rabbitto joy though, the nearby archived cache "Batman's a Scientist was our 2,473rd find, whilst this one was our 4,273rd find. Love those trival number bits. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.

23-Apr-11
I had a bit of a look for this one without success. A quick recheck of one area and the cache was mine. Thanks for the cache.

23-Apr-11
We were talking to Allison at their event and she asked if we were going to do this cache. We said nah.... its in the wrong direction. But in the end we went down to the site to ry our hand at a few donuts. There was already a cacher there, so we teamed up in a combined search. In such esteemed company we felt pretty secure in the knowledge that we would get a find. After a while H of the Rabbitto team turned up as well and then Toy Car decided to join the party. Soon after the sneaky hide was found. See combined assaults still work... Thanks 80 degrees for the detour.

Found by The Empire @ 1:20pm with tackle_head
Enough chatter and more findy findy. This took a while but I had an ace up the sleeve! Thanks for the cache 80degrees.

23-Apr-11
I stopped at this cache on my way to the nearby event, but when I didn't find it straight away I decided to leave and come back later. After the Event I returned to find Rabbitto (inc Team) and The Swaggies already searching. I continued the search within them and it wasn't long when Mr Swaggie found the cache.
Cunning hide.

08/04/2011 23:49 Found: #361 Going to Tassy tomorrow so I figured this would be a great cache do get my one-a-day before 'Parking At Rear' just after midnight. After a chat with Jim I knew where I mucked up on this one last time. On this trip I walked straight to it. Very sneaky! Note to self 'Check VERY carefully, all likely hides!' TFTC TNLN SL

No muggles around here.
Will come back with more eyes

02-Apr-11
Found @ 15:50 and my 250th find!

Phew! What seemed a fruitless search finalyl ended with peachyburston double checking a spot! I had even tried the cahce owner on the phone, but with now answer, it was left to persistence!

TFTC! will be back for donuts another day

Found with Bubblzdee. Lots of looking involved here, but we didn't give up and eventually found it. Second time looking in that spot though. Great hide TFTC.

Unfortunately did not have a pen to sign the log but had to have a laugh when I discovered the location. Yep, wouldn't be trying that one while the markets are on SurprisedD

22-Mar-11
22/03/2011 20:32 DNF: #340 Evening cache run. I knew this was going to be tricky but decided to give it a try anyway. I spent about 1/2 hour at GZ before some muggles pulled up into the TTTM driveway. As they were in direct line of sight and the flashlight would look odd (ok, suspicious), I decided to give it away for another day. I think I know where it is supposed to be but can't, as yet imagine how it is hidden. Will attempt again another evening this week.

16-Mar-11
Very quiet today, no one to disturb me. The iPhone put me off to one side initially, then it settled and said it was over there. So I fished around and sure enough I found it at 2:10pm. Clever but required delicacy and almost lost it. TFTC

14-Mar-11
Very cleverly hidden, we searched and searched and searched until we were almost about to give up.

12-Mar-11
I thought to myself as I was walking up to GZ "at least I'll have the place to myself on a Saturday" and so it turned out. That didn't help much as I was getting very frustrated. Just on the verge of walking away I decided to check an area that I had looked at before but more thoroughly this time. And..... BINGO. I was signing the log with a smile on my face Smile.

Cheers 80degrees, it's been ages since I've had a doughnut here.

12-Mar-11
Despite my GPS leaping all over the place I made this very tricky find after only a few minutes of looking like a weirdo! It's a nice hide and yes, audacious and concur that you won't safely get this one when the market is on! TFTC

09-Mar-11
One of 36 finds for the night while out caching with my good friend Blacklegend (Marshy). It was daylight now and we did a few caches this morning before going our seperate ways. MMM Donuts. Eventually got the chance to grab the cache. Thanks for the hide.

09-Mar-11
One of 33 for another day/night caching run with my good caching mate Marty (Quasar3671). Up and about again now in daylight, decided we would grab a few more northern suburbs hides before parting company. Gotta love it when you do a dubious park job, then run in for the find, and just as you run in, a bus breaks down on the main road and 30 muggles get out, all look over at the idiot staring into the empty markt yelling "its closed"

So i yell back, "your bus broke down", new bus pulls up to grab passengers, i find cache, all is good. Nice hide btw. I like the arrogance of it.... hehehe. TFTC.

Took us a coiple of tries but co-ords spot on! Trust your equipment!

8.15 last for the day. Out and about with 80 dregrees today and Syzygy in training. Mrs 80 has the plan and we have a new driver, Mr 80. The weather and company was and we cleared some out in the area. Nice easy find. Mr 80 wanted to do a check on this one so we called in. Great time to do it as NO ONE was around. Syzygy found this one with very little direction and in a place xambo4u had already looked.
Excellent hide
Thanks for the day

05-Mar-11
Found it @ approx. 13:30

Would love to say " a nice easy find", but after scouring many an option, a call was placed to the "helpline".
After a slight nudge in the right direction, was still scratching my head when I noticed the hide.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you are an evil, evil man. Wink LOL

After having a coffee with harry, I suggested a quick cache was in order.
We parked the car and made our way to GZ. I spent so much time here as a kid but always parked on the other side of the market.
My Uncle had a store here every Sunday so we would always come for a look around and say hello to him.
He was rarely at his site, he preferred to socialise and everyone in the place knew who he was. I remember having my pocket money with me one Sunday and haggled with a lady for a Magic Nursery Doll. It was brand new and so much cheaper than the toy shop. She wasn't willing but her husband was impressed that I had saved my money so I got it in the end! Big Grin
I loved the Donuts and Dim Sims here and Dad would always get a Spring Roll. Looking in through the fence today reminded of my Uncle and his awesome sense of humour!
Anyway, on to the find. We looked and looked and eventually I sent a SMS to 80degrees to see if we were close. Red Face We weren't and as my phone was ringing, Mrs 80 was walking through the car park. I was on the phone to Mr 80 and told him I had a muggle present so we searched some more. What a great hide! Singed the log and as harry replaced it, ooppsss!!!!! Red Face A quick retreival and we were on our way after a chat. Big Grin
TFTC 80degrees, happy with 2TF with it being here for week!

A cunning cache to find and one that took more than 3 looks today to spot.
A well concealed cache that had me stratching my head more than once.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks 80degrees for this cache here at this location today.

OK, now I'm officially bamboozled Surprised. With rain forecast today, I decided to drive to work rather than ride Red Face. On checking the computer this morning, I noticed this one but figured that by the time I got there, I'd be waiting in line to sign the logbook Wink – especially in this area!! By lunchtime however, it was still unfound but I had a pressing 'theory' to put to the test so it was consigned to the 'if I've got time' file (in fact, I nearly didn't bother loading it into the O3!). After my theory failed, I decided to have a try for this one anyway – at the very least I might meet another team at GZ Cool.

It turned out that I was the only there though and after about 5 minutes, I had the logbook in hand at 13:55 from its very sneaky hiding spot. Upon opening the log, I noticed that we were indeed the FTF, for our 54th time (Big Grin × 54). There's one of the 'usual' teams that couldn't nab this Wink (although I have seen it done before Surprised (but not by them Wink)) but for a cache in this area to last unfound since 22:40 last night is simply unbelievable Surprised!!

TNLNSL, although a whole swag of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks 80degrees Big Grin.

DOH...nut!

was surprised also no-one had logged and only 5 mins ago sent an email to my co-FTF finder to see if we shoudl take a trip after work on the off-chance it was still up for grabs....

no hurry now!
