Looked on three separate occasions with no luck. Last being the morning of the 28th of September.
no Luck this arvo I guess Sat arvo isn't the bezt time to search, even at half time in the Afl grand final there's muggles everywhere. Did spend some time enjoying mr beards great contribution to the world!
This was the last cache we tried to find this afternoon, again with Wollaston and TeamOutNabout. Were all over the location looking and searching but the cache remained elusive. Very nice spot, good to watch the surf here.
Hired a bike so sort to find a few caches before we head out for the day

Found with Fizz62 on a big caching weekend. Nice easy find. Nearly lost it back in there but managed to drag it out. TFTC
A very busy area! We eventually drove, on our third attempt to this spot, the remaining muggle away. Then after a bit of trial and error the cache was ours. TFTC
Thanks for the interessting informations and for hiding the box at a nice place. For people from switzerland the sea is always manific. Thank
Took a break from the power trail to the north to get lunch and ended up down here. Was a bit too cold to see many examples of Louis invention but still a nice part of the coast. Was treated to a chocolate frog at GZ thanks to a willingness to answer a question asked by a group of sales people.

Found whilst walking along the Gold Coast with WelshGirl77 and SquishyD. The cache was located after a brief search but it took me a little while to retrieve it from its hide.
Lovely day for some caching.

Second find of two finds today at 1:32:26 PM.
This find was quite easy once I had my proper GPSr. While there were lots of muggles amount, I was quite stealthy in retrieving and replacing the cache.

Grabbed this one on our way home from the local event cache. There were less people around this evening than there were last Sunday so we made a quick find. Getting it out however was another problem my fingers weren't quite long enough.

We had a lot of muggle interference attempting this one but finally on a nice wet night at the markets we had our chance and were successful! TFTC!
Saw cache location under a muggle. Walked away for a little while came back them an old woman was next to it. Waited for ten minutes then just grabbed it not wanting to wait any longer. Hope no one saw. pretty sure they didn't.
Spied the target had to wait for 3 tourists to leave the gz before swooping in to sign the log
The previous logs threw us off a little bit, but realised we were on it all the time! Awesome cash with awesome views tftc
This was a really nice cache to find this morning on a walk with my family. Nicely hidden tftc
Found while on a weeks Theme Park adventure from Albany WA. Easy find on a quite day along the beach front.
Down South dropping Geo Girl No1 and her friend to Seaworld and Geo Mum and Geo Girl Youngest were unavailable so I was flying solo in my new favortie game.
I have picked up quite a few Aussie Liahona's but there are still quite a few in this area so it looks like I might pick up a few more today.
I had visited this site a month or 2 back and was thwarted but a stack of muggles watching a beach volley ball game (on the weekend of course) and here I am trying it again on a SATURDAY, why why why.
On approach to GZ I was very pleased to see that there was neither a volley ball game or ANY muggles at my target.
I enjoyed the sit down and did a bit of a search with little or no interference, then a tell tale movement told me I had touched the prize and for a second I paniced as I thought I had moved it beyond my reach.
Luckly as you can tell by the Found It log I was ablew to retrieve it ans sign the log.
Thanks Krugers TFTC SL

Ok so geono. and I could see it but couldn't reach it!
After a quick scout around I came up with a retrieval tool and had the cache in no time.
Loads of muggles around so hopefully we were unseen!

Don't think this one will go missing in a hurry, even though we could see it getting it was something else. Noo82 came up with her own system of retrieval. TFTC The Krugers.

Found this afternoon with my daughter. Could see the cache from a distance but a muggle was right on it so had to wait a few moments. TFTC.
An easy find. A bit harder to retrieve as two muggles were sitting directly on top of it. Never mind wait until they finish their cigarettes and then log it. The retrieval also proved to be a problem as none of us could reach the little mint tin so had to fish it out with a pen. Nice view though and some munzees made this a very good place to spend a holiday. Wish we could stay longer.
Nice easy find
Much more difficult to retrieve
Took trackable Aussie-Bound for Jody1V for a visit and check out the metre maids

Found with the geo family in tow, I missed it during a quick look with the wife finally able to lay her hands on it while the rest of the clan provided some cover. She won't let me forget that for a while..... Great area we all loved it today! Tftc
nice quick find.tried this a few months ago , when fences up.lovely view.tftc
Nice location along the beach, volleybal was busy today, not a lot of spectators though. Although it took us some time to figure out the correct location as the GPS gave different location all the time, it was a relatively easy find. Our 5th for the day (out of 5) so we are really pleased. THTC the Krugers.
Our last cache for our holiday. We looked for this one a couple of times when passing and just as we were about to give up one of the kids saw it.

#278 for us, found today by juc_jr#2. Sometimes having a kid around comes in really handy !
In town for the Australian Surf Lifesaving Titles, we had an enforced lay-day due to the tragic death of a young competitor. Juc_jr#2 and I walked up from Broadbeach with a plan to meet the girls, who had bussed it up, at Cavill Mall once they had indulged in some retail therapy.
Although there were plenty of muggles about, most benches were empty and juc_jr used his skateboard to conduct the reconnaissance of the likely candidates. Knowing what we were looking for from the hint, he spotted it very quickly and being a kid, he was able to climb and crawl and caper about without attracting any attention.
The log was quickly signed and the cache returned.
There were quite a few of Louis' inventions about today, including quite a few on our walk up the beach from Northcliff, but some of the ladies must have been poor students or something, since they seemed to have only been able to afford one half of the costume ?
Thanks for the cache The Krugers !

Out geocaching on our last day in Surfer's Paradise and found our first cache in Australia here! Finally had a chance to log the find today - internet access in Australia is not as convenient as back home in Canada. TFTC, SL.
Volleyball on, geokids at the ready, climbed over and under everywhere it could have been. No luck.
Checked one of the two but it wasn't there, someone was lying on the other spot, so we moved on. Gps got us to 1m, so I think I had the right pew. Thanks.
8:07PM
Our second attempt, but again, we couldn't find this cache.
We found the extraction tool left in a likely spot, so it may be missing.

With the schoolies event GZ was surrounded by temporary fencing so after 3 security guys moved off and geo-wife keeping lookout I made a quick dash behind the fence for a quick grab, thanks.
Found with Krossbo. Replaced log as the other one was full. Was fun trying to retrieve the cache stealthfully!! Didn't see any mankinis . . . thankfully. But got to watch a few people play volleyball. TFTC!!
Had to sit and think about the clues and previous logs for a while before I found this cache with muddtrax TFTC SL
Thanks For The Cache
found this one while on a Geo-Trek Caching holiday with TeamBooo, Booo's Dad and Booo Booo to Queensland

Some one had conveniently left an extraction stick. Made identification easy. You sit where you don't have to practice " Chubby Checker's " 1960's vintage song.
No luck today. The local surf lifesaving carnival was on - and there were muggles everywhere. GZ seemed pretty apparent but there was no chance of even getting a seat let alone searching for the cache. As a second-prize however, there was a superb beach-volleyball game going on.
Peter37 assures me he will return on another day. I head back to Ireland tomorrow, so will perhaps try this cache again on my next visit to Oz.

On holidays from Western Sydney. Strolled up to GZ on a pleasent evening. A quick search and soon the cache was in hand. Lovely location. TFTC.

Had to visit location three times this morning to find it muggle free! Quick easy find, great surf this morning.
Greetings from Dallas, TX!

Cache Hunt 750; GAFF1; Weather, Cloudy; Helpers, None; Cache condition, Good; Find of the day, 2nd; STATUS, Found; GPSr at GZ - 1m
After starting a multi nearby, I walked up to this cache. My 750th to boot. A muggle was right at GZ and as I read the description, I thought I'd have to DNF this one. Then when I searched around casually, I saw the cache. It was 2 metres away from the sitting muggle. I managed to grab it and SL and then replace again. Great to be on the Gold Coast, nice place, TFTC.

It took a while to make the retrieval with so much muggle traffic, but our perseverance paid off! T micro GC for a trip down south. TFTC
On the coast for a couple of days and managed to fit in a few caches. This was the first find late in the afternoon. Great spot to sit and watch the world go by.
Thanks the for the cache.
Thanks the for the cache.
Short afternoon trip from Brisbane. Australiens are just too friendly, as a guy asked me if I am searching for something when I approached with my caching tool... in: GC
So I sat & pondered... And the view almost made me forget why I was there. Thanks. Log may need replacing soon.
Picked up on our way to the night market, nobody around probably to wet.
Thanks for the cache,

Almost couldn't get this as the previous finder had put it back in a bit too far. Must of looked suspicious, but I think everyone else was more interested in the game of beach volleyball that was going on just nearby on the beach.

Found this a few days ago but didn't have a pen so didnt bother getting it out of irs hiding spot. Went today with a pen and signed with geo wife. Turns out there was a pen in the cache afterall.

I was looking elsewhere (for the cache of course) when Ms Wig found this one quite quickly... apparently she had thought this one through!!
Not much evidence about on these cold days of the Louis Reard inventions!
Thanks Krugers, clever hide.

What a pain this cache turned out to be. Got on the third attempt as everytime I walked by someone else was sitting there and the worst part was I could see the cache. Still third time lucky and sat down and grabbed it. TFTC
Went just before 7pm so not many frequent muggles about. Looked in the wrong place then seen it out of the corner of my eye. Nice hide. Thanks.
Tried to get this at 4.00pm on the Tuesday before. Not a good idea. Muggles everywhere, even sitting directly over GZ. 6.00am on Wednesdays appear to be far better. Just have to avoid fit people running up and down the road.
On a beautiful moonlit night, after finding the new cache by Kev's Team, I thought I should go and try for this one at this quieter time of day, or rather night. So I sat for a while watching the moon on the rolling surf, waiting for a time to poke around and find the little blighter. And that time arrived. I was able to find it without any trouble. So thanks, Krugers, for another interesting hunt and find. Found at 9.30pm. That's 2 Krugers caches I found today. Log has 4 spaces left on front page. Let's hope cachers use the reverse too.
Thank you for the cache The Krugers!
I'm still new to geocaching so I don't have the 'cache-pack' that people have described below. My first walk past the GZ was a no go, as there was a muggle in place. My second attempt was during a sunshine rain shower so most muggles had cleared out. I used almost all of the items in my handbag to get the little blighter. Fingernail file, pen, watch strap and hand cream tube. Gotta love a woman's handbag!
Cache returned to its position to the best of my ability. None of Reard's inventions on display today, too cold!
