This afternoon, I travelled to Sandgate and visited a few new challenge caches that had arisen from my previous visit, and I took the opportunity to find a few more monsters of *Monster Lane* along some of the bike tracks and walking paths in the area. It was also a good opportunity to visit the next waypoint of Wherigo [HAND](https://coord.info/GC5XXXJ).
During my visit to the area, I noticed that this archived cache may still be available, so as it wasn't too much of a detour, I decided to take a quick stop. There were a few logical hiding spots, and armed with the hint, it was always going to be a quick find or DNF. Sure enough, despite many years since the last find, there was still cache elements here, including the logbook. I've added my stamp, and I was on my way. Thanks bubba_89 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out and about today to locate solved puzzles and also some archived caches. Signed the log and replaced it as found. TFTC
Pulled in to a full carpark but luckily noticed a car pulling out of a spot in the far corner. Made my way over and spotted the hide from a distance. I really need to get out and find more archived caches. TFTC
While on the area I noticed this archived cache which looked like it may still be in place. Nearly 2 years after its last find, it is most definitely still findable if you don't mind dodging the odd CCTV camera, and is in pristine condition.

One day I will get around to finishing of this series. But at least I have another clue. It was completely deserted today so the search was easy.
Thanks

A bit easier than the last DNF. I wander into the station via the pedestrian walkway and then back out to the empty car park for a quick find under the gaze of the security camera.
Quick find on a tour to get the Monster Lane caches. Couldn't miss grabbing this. TFTC
Found it on a bike gc-tour together with omaster during this sunny day. TFTC

One of 225 finds during a Brisbane and back drive. Went to Brisbane for 5 days with my family flying up and back while I drove with a car load of stuff for our working holiday. Well a holiday for me and my boys while Leanne had a wedding expo to attend, but we did manage to get to Sea World for a day, where we had a great time, before they flew back.
After some caching in Melbourne it was on to Tocumwal for the night then two more days to Brisbane. Five days there then the same trip back but in reverse. A total of 4516 km travelled with 225 caches found and even a couple of interstate FTFs along the way. The trip turned out to be a trial run almost for a Solar eclipse / Cairns trip I'm doing in November.
After caching in Melbourne I made my way to Tocumawal where I stayed the night then made my way just south of Goondiwindi, crashed in the car at a truckstop. Up at about 8:00 the next morning and soon hit the road again to make my way to the Gold Coast via Warwick.
Found a place to stay then headed out to do the GCPT series which was only about a kilometer from where I was staying. Off to Brisbane the next day to stay five days, and tackle the monster series in Sandgate when I had the time.
Back to the monster series today to find a few more with my two boys and what other caches where in the area. Had to use some caching instinct here as we eventually found the cache about 25m from GZ.

Second fast cache and dash while killing time before picking the kids up from school. Thanks for the cache.
An opportunity to go out today and get some great caches. We love the different hides and containers we encountered and we had a most enjoyable day.
Thanks to bubba_89.
Thanks to bubba_89.
The co-ordinates for this cache are terrible. I was standing a long way from where I eventually found the cache. Thankfully the clue meant it could only be in one of a few places. A new reading would be a good idea. Thanks for the cache.
I did the monster lane with dokfrank on a hired pocketbike. It was realy something special to find so many boxes. On the way we found some other boxes. Thanks this little part of Australia
Together with tinflaida I did this circuit with a little handy bike. It was nice. Äh. On this cricuit we found some other caches as well. Thanks for this last big hunt in Australia
Coordinate had me in the middle of the car park but widened the search and bingo. TFTC.

Mr Garmin had me in the middle of the carpark, about 20 metres from hide. But the great clue helped and we found it pretty quickly. Of course, the first rule of geocaching applied and we started our search at the wrong end. The cache was found in the last little bit of guard that we searched. Recorded the clue.

Back to complete the monster run and had another crack. Found when I widen the search, I had coords off a bit but took the hint more literally, and there it was. TFTC Bubba
Only DNF all day. Put in a good search and got quite wet but couldn't find it. TFTH bubba
Had to wait for a member of staff to vacate the area before I could make the grab.
Cache found dry and in good condition

Strange how it does help when you actually read the cache description. Have clue and will soon do the others in the series.
This cache fitted in nicely with our other plans, cache is nice and dry and well hidden

My first in the series. iPhone was pointing very insistently to another feature but the hint led me to the right spot. I'll check my interpretation of the larger clue down the track if necessary. TFTC Bubba_89.
Easy find if you trust the GPS Again some possible alternative answers to the clue in the area.
ordered new containers for this series and will be replacing and re-jigging this series within the next month to help with the amount of times they've gone missing.
Fourth of seven finds for a Boxing Day night cache run after dropping someone at the airport.
I drove/walked all around the station for this one as I couldn't find where best to park. There were no shortage of car parks after 9:30pm at night on Boxing Day though! The co-ordinates seemed a bit off for me but I managed to find it with the hint.
Domino is present.

Continuing on with the series. Quick find once I was in the right area. Wrote down clue. TNLN TFTC Thanks bubba 89
Now that was different. I walked to the platform and noticed the GPSr was not agreeing with me. We often have these moments, but this was quite different. Eventually made my way to GZ, signed the log and counted the dots.
The coords were quite a bit out according to my GPS but the hint got me there. Coords according to me are: S27 19.603 E153 3.841. Cache was in good condition. TFTC bubba 89
I approached this cache with only 3 finds to go before finding the final prize to finish the series.
Based on the hint, I thought I knew where the cache may be, and almost disregarded the coords. Luckily, I gave the area around the coords a quick search before heading to where I thought the cache may be and bingo! found the cache. I should have trusted the coords all along!
Took the cache back to my car to sign the logbook and take down the domino details. Only 2 more finds to go!
Thanks bubba_89

#2 in this series .. I didn't read previous logs, so was standing in the middle of the carpark scratching my head until i read the clue. Thanks bubba 89
6th cache out of the series, nice quick find and even had time to go to the shops to grab a drink while waiting for the train
Our GPS may have been a bit out on this one but our helper for the morning did a good job and followed the clue than soon located cache.

Grabbed after a small hike as we parked in the wrong car park. Amber-Son keeping Geo-Son occupied in the car.
Clankirks had this one in hand while I was downloading the geocaching app to my I phone. I had previously tried for a railway station cache on the other side of town but felt way too conspicious, so I was happy that this series seem to be more comfortably placed. Thanks bubba 89.
Our first cache on a day out with geonanna, The cache has become a home to ants, otherwise all ok. Look forward to the rest of the series. TFTC
Found @ 4:10pm with Fore! on Day 1 of our trip to Brisbane to visit Team Goanna
Fore! made the find after 10mins of searching but it took me a futher 3mins to find - we took some co-ordinates which I have added to this log.
This is the third cache in the series we visited today - maybe we will find them all to get the final one!
Thanks again for the cache bubba_89!

This was our third cache in this series today and our 9th cache overall.... The power lines don't upset gps signal... Whoever decided that they do really kinda made that up and it has become an urban legend of sorts. All rounder will post better coorindates so if you want to update them, it would be really useful to the next finders.
Regardless, this series could be fun... Hope we can do more of them whilst we are here. This cache has a "needs maintenance" icon on it but it is absolutely fine... You can remove the icon so people aren't warded off! Tftc, again!!!

Found after a false start...
Karen chucked a mental and had us heading the way long & way wrong way to another cache...
Backtracking we spotted this location & dropped in for the find..
As we headed in spotted a dropped purse on the stairs...
Query to adjacent young mum got a 'saw it but it's not mine' we decided we would hand to some appropriate authority figure after we made our find...
Yet another find under direct view of a camera (hope no ones watching)
TNLNSL
Off to do our good samaritan bit for the day - welll this ain't so easy..
deagon Station - unmanned
Next - local police - back to Sangate (nearest) locked up all tight - no answer
Tried a couple of local phone numbers same name - 1 x no answer, 1 x no one by that name here.
Next - oh yeah has go card - try Sandgate station - success should be back in owners hands real soon..
Good deed done next cache please
Thanks bubba_89 for the cache

This cache was the initiation of Kaisho53 and my good Samaritan deed for the day. Kaisho53 has the story covered below... [^]
The coords for this one were a little out but, I suggested to Kaisho53 that we check "there" and sure enough, cache in hand... I sat on the convenient "bench" to sign the log, all the while hoping no-one was at the other end of the cameras... It would be amusing if they were though... We would show up at one station at this time and another shortly afterwards before appearing just like magic, at another one only minutes later... That's a spectator sport...
Cheers bubba 89.

I visited this station today on the way to see a family member. As I was waiting at the station I fired up my Blackberry application to see if there were any caches nearby. What do you know? There was one less than 150 metres away! Off I wandered in search. The hint made me chuckle and there was thankfully no muggles around. Cache was in perfect order.
I'm just sorry I didn't realise this series existed earlier or I would have enjoying visiting all the caches along the line.

Another train station in this really wonderful part of Brisbane. We so enjoyed our geocaching tour of the area on this perfect late winter sunny day. Thanks for placing these caches bubba 89 to bring us to admire the train stations in the area. A great day for Geocaching!

another relatively easy find in this series
at first I was tricked by one word in the Hint - it has another meaning in railway parlance he he
never mind, we were not off track (sorry, couldn't help another pun) for long and then we had to leave this series but we'll be back to finish them off

Decided to make a morning of it and do this series in one go. The GPS was a bit jumpy but the clue was spot on, 5 down 3 to go. Cleaned out all the ants that had decided to make the cache their new home. TNLNSL TFTC

Nice and quiet in the area today. We saw somebody riding an interesting bike using his arms to pedal.

We started at Shorncliffe and this is as far as we got today, but we'll be back to finish the trip. This one took a bit longer as we couldn't quite nail the coordinates and then discovered it was right where we had first pulled up.
Looked in a couple of wrong spots before the clue made sense. Had just replaces it when the Station Manager pulled into his parking spot
After the calamity of trying to do this multi a few months ago, I thought I would pick up a couple more of the caches this morning.
Easy find, co-ords out a little bit, but follow the hint and your nose and you will find. All good no problems

I parked near the station and found that it was undergoing a renovation job. I checked my GPS and found that I could park closer to the cache so I moved the car.
I found the cache after a bit of a search but it was well away from the coordinates.

Parked at one entrance and walked, walked, walked all the way down to GZ, only to find the perfect parking spot there! The hint was essential - I'd have spent way too much time poking around a garden otherwise - and although I marked the coordinates, I promptly deleted them by accident. Oops! TFTC. =^.^=
With all the comments of the co-ords being way out I used the clue and had the cache in hand pretty quickly.
Found 0918 with Margaret. After checking on the net because I forgot to load this one into the GPS. Found easily after that.
Don’t like the position of the security camera. It’s very hard to be stealthy with that looking on. Easy find although my GPS indicated 17m to GZ.

On a ridiculously sunny Monday morning I was making tracks north on the pushbike
Like a couple of other railway stations I had visited this morning, it was eerily quiet [:o]
The whole Shornecliffe Line was devoid of the normal Monday commuting crowds !!
The biketracks had more people on them than the trains did today [^]
The lack of crowds may have been a disadvantage here.
If anyone was watching behind the cameras.... which I doubt.... then I was the only star on the screen
At least this cache was easy to find and retrieve [^]

880 - Out for a late afternoon bike ride on a glorious autumn day to grab this cache at 4:36pm. Thanks for the cache and the series bubba_89.
It was time to tackle the Shorncliffe Line this morning, by geocycle that is . A round trip from home included a ride past Virginia, Northgate and Carseldine Station as a bonus on top of those featured in the series. All told a tad over 40 km including coffee and cake at Sandgate and ocean views at Shorncliffe for 4 hours out and about.
While I have been close i have never visited this location. A very quick find and off to Sandgate, I could feel the coffee coming on (oh and a cake as well).[^]

Found with the use of the clue as the GPS had me at the other end. I was more comfortable finding this one than the previous ones today. Had to clear the ants out that had taken up residence in the cache.
at 13:32. The sixth stop on our trip on the Shorncliffe line.
