Thought we were going into the outside area of the pool or into the Breast screening van! Wandered into shade to read GPS and low and behold Mr. SC put his hand straight on it. Thanks.
A quick and easy find by Geosister with her new GPSr. First name on the new log.
Found it eventually. Sometimes I look too hard. GPS took a while to settle due to the big trees that provided welcome shade. Found the ants also. TFTC.
Straight forward find, lot of school bags outside, but no kiddies. Hardest part about these nanos is getting the scroll rolled up again.
Amazing how you dont see it when it really is in full view. No ants today. Our second of 6 nanos today.
I was over from Canberra visiting for CHOGM and had some spare time after the sessions. I grabbed a train to Mandurah and then hired a bike to do a bit of caching. This was the first one I found so I have dipped all of the TBs that I had on hand. TFTC
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find but retrieval was complicated by an absolute horde of ants. It took a few seconds to find and process the cache and several minutes to remove the ants from our arms and upper bodies. TFTC Inukshuk63
I had today off to do some chores before heading south for the weekend. After rushing through some of those chores, I loaded the GPSr and headed out for some fun.
Last time I came through here to do some of the Inukshuk63 nanos, there were council workers right next to ground zero. Today I was a lot luckier and as I ate my Subway lunch I walked up to the right spot, grabbed the cache and waled back to the car to sign the log.
Thanks for the cache Inukshuk63
Cheers

Plenty of people about but the hide was obvious so we were able to do a "walk by" grab, sign and replace.
Found it on a long sunday walk from city center along the pinjarra rd. to riverside gardens.
[green]I had to watch out for some muggle kids inside the aqua center. After they went back into the building I grabed the nano and signed the logsheet[/green]

Turned out this was our 100th find. Very clever hide, had to fight the ants again and stay inconspicuous of the muggles walking by. TFTC

Came down to Mandurah today with FelixII and the Machman and soon found the nano after a small search.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A caching run was on the cards for The Machman and FelixII today. We were to head to Rockingham with our hit list but after the car being broken into yesterday decided to head down and check likely dump sites and bins just hoping to find some of our stuff. Enlisted The Machman and Chwiliwr to help in the search and a full day's caching. This was a cache that none of us had done so was a definite starter for our lineup today. TFTC Inukshuk63
Grabbed this one, no-one was in the small car park, and it was an easy approach to the GZ. Some muggle children were playing soccer on the lawn of the centre, but I managed to wait them out. The cache was visible as I approached, a clever use of available camo, easy to overlook if you are not looking. Thanks Inukshuk63, I am nearly finished with this series as well
A quick and easy find - many moons ago I used to teach aerobics and aquarobics here.
thanks for the memories.
thanks for the memories.
No mozzies at this one only kids having a swimming carnival. Luckily it was a quick find so we didn't look too odd standing near a pool.
Ackermat and family first ever to be third in line on a find. Stealth is a given at this one.
The mybabies and belnoaks strike again. another ftf today. found wih many mozzies thank goodness i had aerogaurd in the backpack. tftf
YAY! another shared FTF with Mybabies!! again the mozzies were out in force, quickly signed log, replaced and made a mad dash to get all the kids in the car! TFTH
8.45 While celebrating my new arrival of my third grandchild I got to stay at Silver Sands resort. What a beautiful place Mandurah is and looked forward to doing some caching to. On arrival there were two workman neaby and it did not take them to long to notice that I was looking in strange places. Trying to look interested in all the lovely trees nearby as a decoy I finally spied its hiding place. I needed to widen my search for it to happen. a quick sign off and back to the car.
