Leaving the area soon and will not be able to maintain my caches so as the come up for maintenance or record multi DNF's I am Closing them.
After finding a couple of caches nearby, I headed to this one. At GZ, I was unable to locate a 1.5 Lt clip lock box as stated in the cache description. There are not too many places to be able to hide something of this size here.
The description was a bit bouncy due to he trees. The description and hint are not helpful as they are inaccurate
The 1.5Lt container has changed to a green plastic test tube with lid. Look amongst the she oaks. Awesome find.
Having chased an eastern brown snake off my doorstep this morning, I was a little wary about meeting another one here with all the grass and underbrush. I stomped very heavily as I made my way to gz. Thankfully none were seen. Container was quickly spotted. Log signed and container returned as found. Nice hide TT. TFTC.
So I was told by Egg Zachary and XWF a few weeks ago that we were going to attempt the "Spell September in September" Challenge today as it was the only day in September that we'd all be together in amongst trips to Perth and Melbourne. I was madly working out puzzles in the car on the way and hadn't even realised that we had pulled up at the GZ. All is good with this one. 3 letters down, 6 to go.
Thanks for the cache Treking Trev

hi trekking trev, entomologist enjoyment provided one of our 'E' for the September challenge. were hoping to complete the challenge in one day between dropping kids off and picking them up from school, so far so good. cache is on good order. found easily with bones74 and XWF
A short walk past the bush turkey, and down to GZ. A little time to work out which spot was right, and then a find. Okay, sign the log, return all as I found it. A nice peaceful spot to come on out to. TFTC
Hi there Treking Trev. We found your cache "Entomologist Enjoyment" at 11:41:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11522.
[Blue]
Today we just drove around some of the roads in the area. We started off at a random cache and navigated to "Next Closest", but very early on we changed our approach to "Next in Series". In our travels today we found 11 (and DNF'd 2).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 9m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape, but it isn't the 1.5 litre clip lock box described on the cache page.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Walked wrong side, had to walk through the tall grass to GZ. Not base of tree so much but good and easy find ! Tftc
First find in Queensland. Very close to friends of ours 120 m from their front door. Found with our muggle friends trying to get involved with geocaching. They had fun as did we TFTC
Nice 'n hot outside so I tried to stay near the treeline and cleared this area mostly on foot, if moving the cachemobile occasionally. A few river hops and lots of shady spots to explore.
An easy find here and all is good with the cache Really enjoyed my exploration around the traps here today.
TFTC Treking Trev!
ps: Hint no longer matches the hide

Out and about in the Narangba area today to grab a few caches in the rain. A short search and the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 17, Redcliffe, third full day.
Mum's wanting to sort out her house prior to selling up and moving, and she hasn't finished the stuff I set out for her yesterday. So today I get an easy day - the GeoSchnauzers and I are off geocaching again. I've put the emergency call button on Mum's wrist. I've now collected the GeoSchnauzers, gallons of ice water, my caching kit, and my hat. It's a coller and cloudier day than yesterday, but it's more humid. The dogs and I loathe and despise humidity, so I'm going to be doing more driving and less walking than yesterday, but it won't be a total park and drive day, we'll still walk a bit. We're going to Burpengarry again, this time to find the creek. Yikes, I just looked up yesterday's notes, we walked 2.5 kms yesterday in the heat. No wonder we drank all that water!!
No 6 of 16 today. Thanks, Treking Trev. It was dry. No biting insects. The only ones we saw were flies, and not many of those. This was a nice walk in the shade for the dogs. I had a little trouble finding this cache, but I got it in the end. In fact, it neark\ly poked me in the eye as I grubbed around following the clue. Good one!! The dogs actually enjoyed this walk, unllike the couple or three previous ones today.

NRN: Out and about today just me and Suzi. Got a milestone coming up and I wanted to sort out the mess on my map around here - stars aligned and here I am.
Correcting a wrong. Fixing a DNF. Not what I was looking for, and not exactly where I was looking last time either (aah, I see, a temporary container in place for now) - GPSr was more accommodating today and a smilie happened. Good to wipe that frown off the map.
Thanks for placing this cache, Treking Trev. Found in good condition.

Easter weekend 2nd-6th April 2015 in Stanthorpe, QLD.
Cache colour and placement made this an easy find. Guess the entomology species are enough deterrent to the average muggle. Mainly locust/cricket type bugs buzzing about today.
Frustrated with technology (phone died), we searched and searched, rechecked information but still we couldn't find it. Almost gave up when it leapt out at us! Container was neither the size anticipated, nor was it as described, but it was quite colourful. Completed log, but no swaps to exchange to returned to its hiding place. TFTC!
Yay! 2nd time lucky for us today as we found this one quickly and got much more enjoyment than last time Tftc in this lovely area Treking Trev
Quick find, first in the new log. Would have loved to see the old container and its contents TFTC
After several DNF reports I checked on this one today and replaced it with a temp cache so I can gather ups some more residents and a new container.
Out on a very enjoyable days caching with Rhyssa6. Afraid we had no luck here today. Gave it a pretty good look too.
Out with Green Geckos, we both had a pretty thorough search of the area but no luck with this one.
Spent a good while stomping and rummaging through the overgrowth with my daughter, but to no avail this time Did work up a nice allergic reaction to the bushes though!! Will have to try again sometime
We couldn't find this one today, despite quite some time looking. Maybe a bad case of cache blindness after a long day caching? [xx(] Will put this one on watch and hopefully be back for a smiley. Tfth Treking Trev
Found this on easy once we were on right side of creek....the log is a bit damp, lid on container was'nt on properly....tftc
Some more for the day was great geocaching day with the geokid, what a lovely area this is in.
TFTC. Todays theme for the caching run is animal centred today through no great design. Nice quick grab. The guardian has lots of mates for swaps.
Today's caching adventure took me out to the Burpengary Power Trail. Part way round the trail, I diverted the bike and headed to clean up all the hides in this area. I had tried to access this cache from the other side of the creek. No can do. So close, yet so far.
So it was the long way round via a troll cache and an enjoyable coast down the hill.
Rode the bike right to GZ, where my entomological eye noticed a little bug, which revealed a cache.

Out and about with teamdfl for a Friday binge day We had tried to get to this one earlier today while on the bike path on the other side of the creek, but this afternoon we found a better way in. The cache is pretty damp but we able to sign the logbook. Nice collection of creepy crawlies inside TFTC, Treking Trev.
We had tried to approach this from the wrong angle on the geocycles this morning. The long way round was a much better idea this afternoon
Checked numerous spots before eventually finding it. Pretty much everything on the inside is quite wet and really needs a new log. It is signable but quite wet.

Now that Marco and I have both secured employment, we are back to caching on weekends. So we headed out today to find a few more south of where we live. This was a nice quick find but after having encountered a spider on the last cache we found, we did get a bit of a scare when we picked this one up. The contents and the log are all very wet. TNLNSL TFTC
After a short stroll we spotted the cache and all the creepy crawlies, The bug spray definitely came in handy . Log is a bit damp but still signable. TNLNSL TFTC .
Checked on this today. It is ok with the logbook in it. I have editied the decriprion to give a broarder hint about the logbook.
The log book is missing again. However, the cache was well hidden and contained all of the other contents. I left a small piece of paper for others to sign.
We started on the wrong side of the river and ended doing some bush bashing and collected three ticks in the process. Check for unwanted passengers when you arrive home, it is tick season. TFTC
Checked on this one today all is well the log book has been placed in the container and the container marked with Log Book on it.
TFTC TT! I see the relevance of the title upon opening the lid. And jumping back!

With a base near the Glass House Mountains we ventured out to get a few caches. An enjoyable assortment of hides and we enjoyed finding this one, the walk to gz was great.
Thanks to Treking Trev.

No log added a sheet of paper . No bag so maybe the person can bring one

got to cache to discover container out in open and contents strewn everywhere...put items back in but could not find logbook...just the sticker for it. could not sign. put it back in place with a grassy cover.
This one was lying across the ground when we arrived
Everything still seemed to be there apart from the log book... Heaps of creepy crawlys and a zip lock, so we went back to the car and added a piece of paper and rehid. Can the CO please check we have hidden in the correct spot as we are unsure where it was meant to be. Thanks for the hunt Treking Trev

The munchkins and I jumped in the monster truck and I had my sister in law follow in her car. She is very new to the wonderful world of caching so I was glad to have her along. We pulled up near the cache area, all munchkins jumped out and headed for the cache. Arriving at GZ I soon spotted the cache then left the hunt for everyone else.
Ebear munchkin was next to spot it, which left Bec and chicky munchkin. A little bit of hotter/colder then the girls had it. A very creepy crawly experience on opening the cache

Found easy enough. Container full of above mentioned items. Box no longer in any bag. Log book a bit moist but able to write in log. TFTC.
Once we managed to get to the correct side of the creek we were fine and quick find.
A nice hide and a good stock of ... well ... bugs. Haha. I liked it enough to give it a favourite. TFTC.

Was concerned this one would not be here, going by an earlier log by my friend Peter. Co-ords were spot on and cache was quickly located. Hmmm, 2 logbooks. Oh well sign em both. TFTC
Couldn't find this one either. That's DNF#5 for the day. Pretty sure it's not here, but would be happy to be told I'm wrong.
Awesome cache - although after the red backs at an earlier cache today and the special surprise in this one I may now have a new phobia ... ??

Good to see so many on-theme swaps in there . We took the slinky and left a praying mantis. TFTC.
Found this in a bit of a confusing moment! We found it though.....eventually! [^]
