I was in the area so had a look for the cache again but it is gone. Seems a clean up has occurred.
I don't think it's there anymore. I can see where I think it was. Maybe time for a CO check.
Wild wet and woolly day for a surf and to pay our respects to those lives lost 20yrs ago. Will check put again next time we're down.
The surf was pumping and as a result the hills and ocean were full of muggles. A camera man was set up at GZ but luckily he was distracted by the surfers so I could scuttle in and out. TFTC
Found after a short search. We then walked on to the memorial for those who died in such sad disaster. TFTF
Bit of sightseeing today, found time for a few caches, nice view from the lookout, TFTC!
Second try at this one, with more success this time after reading previous logs which gave us a better idea of where to look. Tftc
Headed down south for a couple of days to pick up some caches that have come out since we were last here. All caches were found with a couple that took a bit of searching. Tragic about the cliff collapse. We had a read of the memorial then took in the views. TFTC richlink
come down to gracetown for Easter and decided to take the geomonster for a walk to the beach and check out the memorial. Beautiful spot! Very sad though.
The geomonster found the cache without too much help as I couldn't get in there properly.
TFTC and bringing us to such a beautiful spot.

First time I've ever been here, and was glad to visit this beautiful area, with a delightful walk along the paths here. No waves today, flat and calm, so no surfers to be seen, but still spectacular views of the bay. The story of the cliff collapse is certainly very tragic and sad to read about. Cache was a fairly straight forward find, in a good spot, with lovely views from the lookout nearby. TFTC richlink.
Actually uncovered by my four year old grandson, a future 'cacher perhaps.
I was pleased to find a trackable in such an unlikely site

First time I've been back to the family beachhouse since I started geocaching and I was pleased to see a couple of caches nearby. It was a short and very familiar walk from Percy Street to GZ. I must have walked to south point hundreds of times over my summers spent in Gracetown. It took me longer than expected to find the cache, it was further into the vegetation than the hint had me believe. Eventually I clicked that I was looking at the wrong side of the tree obscuring the hide. The surfers walking past paid me no attention while I signed the log, left a TB. Thanks for placing this cache, a favourite point from me for this memorial of an event that I remember devastating a community.
Visiting Margaret River from Adelaide. Nice quick find and the view is spectacular. The story behind the cache is utterly spectacular. Thanks for the cache.
Saw the memorial near the parking lot. Then we walked up the trail to the cache. Found the cache as described. Lovely view. TFTC.
Nice stroll up from Percy Street. Turns out that the google map doesn't know about the Salter Street continuation or the car park which is weird as it looks well used and the paint is rubbing off the road so it's been there a while! Car park was rammed with surfers which is great to see. No interruptions at GZ so a quick find. TFTC richlink!
Taking a geocaching run from Dunsborough to Margaret River and return exploring some new country today! A pleasant way to end the day in Gracetown. Easy find at GZ, had to be a little agile in retrieving cache.
Heading off to do some caching after collecting all the containers used in the Nature Play WA Geo-challenge that was held at Wharncliffe Mill over the weekend and heading north along the coast.
Found without problems.
Thanks richlink for the cache.

Thanks to me forgetting the maps, I thought we weren't going to be able to find too many caches, but after telling dad the name of this cache he knew where to go, fortunately he knows some of the names of popular surfing spots around here.
Great views from this spot!
Took me a long time to find as I thought it was somewhere else, but found it after expanding the search radius a bit!
Coordinates seemed very out on the Garmin, though the trees and cloudy weather probably interfered with the signal a bit!
Nice container as well, found it very exposed so covered it up as best as I could!
TFTC!

Gorgeous spot thanks for sharing the history of this area ... As tragic as it is
Took a trip to Augusta for a bit of fishing and decided to pick up a cache or two on the way. Finally after a couple od DNF we found it today. Quick find. TFTC
Another beautiful spot with an awesome view. Geokids loved the 'tree tunnel' on the way to GZ. TFTC
Early morning find. The surf was up and the car park full. Kids wagging school? Easy find with the hint. Great views of the surfers at Huzzas. My surfing mate said this is where you come to learn. The waves look mighty big for me. TFTC richlink. melvilla
At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking year through the world. Most of the time I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be takes, as it will make the challenge so much easier.
During my stay in Margaret river I try to get most of the caches around the area.
This one was an quick and easy find, after the GPS settled.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

A quick find early in the morning while geo-Joey and friend went for a surf.
Doing small section of Cape to Cape track. Found it quite easily. Beautiful spot with a sad story.
FT(r)F Cache and log nice and dry on a warm morning. Wonderful place with a terribly sad story.
Looks like this has gone missing. Came with someone who had found previously and they couldn't find it either
14 months ago we came here while visiting Busselton for the big event, we didnt find it as it was missing in action. Back today and I suspect its missing again. We turned rocks over, we crawled through the bush poking through the leaves etc. We looked high and low but no luck at all. Will be back next year and maybe 3rd time lucky. TFTC
dnf... Did not HUNT!
NO SIGNAL on Galaxy s5, couldn't even see this one while there...

We love the Gracetown area and it's kid friendly beaches. So do the Chevy, Smurf and firefly.
After lunch at Ellensbrook Homestead this was a quick find on our way up to Yallingup, love finding out the history of these places.
All good here. My visit was quick, the weather bad! TFTC, richlink. Took Geocaching makes you happy GC. The other listed TB is not in the cache.
Came down to Busselton for a couple of days R & R. What better to do than team up with urch and her hubby for a day of caching. Lots of action out on the water today and muggles aplenty in the carpark and along the track to gz. Had the place to ourselves at gz though, so made a quick find. Left a trackable to continue it's journey. Thanks for the hide richlink
We made another detour into Grace Town to pick up this last remaining cache that was missing when last time here. The coast all along here was dotted with multitudes of surfers and there was plenty of surf for them to enjoy. The cache was quickly found and then we spent some time in this lovely peaceful spot watching the ocean entertainment before heading back to the car.
Left my pathtag. Thanks for the cache richlink.

Found whilst walking the Cape to Cape Track with my Dad over 8 days. The walk was thoroughly enjoyable and a worthwhile item to tick off my bucket list. The 'caches during the walk were the second batch that Dad has found with me and he is now looking at buying his own GPSR as a new convert to the hobby. TNLN TFTC.
Plenty busy around Huzza's over the Easter holiday! So many people in the water... and on the nearby trail. Found cache in good shape. NO Butterfly TB in cache.
we have seen some surfer in the ocean, but the waves wheren't strong enough. the cache we found quickly. thanks and greetings from switzerland, drummers2105
We are down here celebrating a birthday in style at a fabulous house. Brought our overseas muggle visitors here for the walk. Thanks for placing a cache here. Great views and very moving memorials.
Day 3 of a 4 day cape to cape trek with some muggle buddies! and hopefully not the only cache I can snag on our way to Yallingup.
Tried to find this a few months ago but was muggled at the time but got it this time
I had a bit of help in looking and one of my (maybe not so much now) muggle buddies helped me to find its location. The rest of the party distracted some sightsee-rs ....
I failed to spot it but it was discovered by one of my mates! Thanks Trev! A few scratchy moments winding around amongst the low brush, this time AFTER taking my pack off.
Timed our visit for a welcome "non-carried" lunch at the deli today!
Thanks richlink for replacing this in time for my second visit! I love this area!

Normally the surf is fantastic here, but blowing a gale today, still great views. TFTC
Nice find in an excellent place for a cache. Thanks for bringing me here. Tftc
Bugger. I really didn't get a chance to look for this one. About 30 seconds after I arrived at GZ, so did a muggle. And he wasn't about to move. I tried to outwait him, but he was intent on watching the waves and surfers. Ahh well.
Cheers

Visted this cache and had a DNF. Found a pile of sticks and a nice empty hole where we thought the cache might have been?
One last day of caching after the events, trying to make the most of it. Has been an absolutely awesome weekend. Searched for this one with urch and amryall. Pruning of the shrubbery at gz may have compromised the cache hide spot. Took a pic of where we think it should have been if the CO wants to see it. Thanks anyway richlink
Spent the morning out with Mistraluna and Urch touring in the aftermath of the weekend event.
A pleasant short bushwalk while watching the great surfing.
An extensive search came up with nothing and a seemingly obvious depression in the ground where it could have been?!? This was the one and only dnf for the day.

Spent our last day at Busselton after WA Goes Big 2013 and Geo cached with Happyjacks55 from Busselton to Cowaramup picking up a cache or two on the way. This was not one of them.
We first found this cache on 1 October 2012 when being introduced to geocaching by Happy Wanderer 3
Returned today to log it and record our find but it is not where it was in October. It would appear that the cache has gone but will watch for a while to see if other cachers find it.

a lovely memorial to such a tragic event wonderful look out, love this part of WAs coast its so scenic. surf pumping and looked crowded out there.
TFTC richlink. We did this one while spending a day walking sections of the Cape to Cape track. Just a short walk in from Lefty's. Fabulous section of the coast and the surf was fairly pumping. That was our first look too at the memorial for the Gracetown tragedy. Tragic losses but the memorial is a stunning piece of work. We did not find a TB in this cache either? Signed log, TNLN. Need to mention that I had trouble getting the lid to stay on as I re-hid the container. The log book showed signs of being damp so we sealed it in a self seal plastic bag.

Found cache container tossed deep back into bushes. Managed to extract it via a long stick. We have placed it back in it previos location. We didn't notice any TB in the cache.

Not tough to find, I had this one out of the bushes in no time. Spent an hour or so in Gracetown chilling out as we walked through.
Would have been rude not to do this as we had been in staying in Gracetown all week. Historical spot that would have been lovelier without the tragic event.TFTCSL
