A quick find with icw. The Archies Creek Dairy Produce Co building still dominates the village. It was an important producer of butter and other diary products and closed in 1983 after 97 years of continuous operation. Tftc and the visit to an important part of Gippsland history.
Easy find and what a magnet. Done with TFTC. Archies Creek was once a thriving centre, now no more. Photo of long closed butter factory.
Easy quick find off to the side of the road. Number 13 for the day, thankfully no bad luck
A quick stop to show some interested muggles what this caching game is all about. Thanks for the cache.
Quick park and grab. No muggles around! It seems like there is no longer a proper logbook, however there was a stickey-notes pad inside so I signed that instead - using that there is still plenty of space for people to sign. TFTC!
so cool! pretty easy find and beautiful spot. walked right up to it and it only took 5 mins
Walked right up to the container. Easy find for me as familiar with the hiding spot. Someone had left food pellets in the container and there were ants all in it. I deconstructed the container and emptied out the residents. Should be all good now. TFTC
We made a brief detour out to Archies Creek to pick up a few caches we'd previously overlooked.
This one was thankfully just before the major part of town which looked to be fairly busy today.
The obvious hiding spot was located before I'd exited the car and the cache was expectedly inside it.
All of the contents are nice and dry and in good condition.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this one here!

Who would be crazy enough to be out on this freezing day? Me
Had to go across to Wonthaggi and went long way home via a couple of geocaches. Tftc gonefishen07

I’ve been passing through Archie’s Creek twice a day for work all week. I finally had a moment to stop and grab this little cache. Now to find a spot to eat my lunch….
We bumped into this one! Great find!!! Left scratch and sniff stickers and a smelly pen.
Such a beautiful day today for some geocaching. This one was nice and easy. Thank you for the cache!
We are staying in Grantville for a few nights as we are going to the River Garden Working Bee CITO Event on Saturday. We decided that would like to try a night cache as we have never done one before. This one and one other in the local area came up. We jumped in the Geomobile and headed towards Archies Creek. The full moon was out tonight and looked spectacular. When we arrived at GZ we were greeted by the sound of live music from the local pub. All the muggles were inside so there was no one to see us retrieve the cache. Not sure why this was labelled a night cache as it would have been just as easy to find by the day. Still, we enjoyed our trip to Archies Creek and think it would be worth checking out during the daytime. Thank you, for this cache Gonefishen07.
Found on our way home after a few days in the area. Daughter had mentioned Archies to us, so thought we’d do a little detour and check it out. Interesting little place, especially the old butter factory! Anticipated where the cache might be and happy to discover we were spot on SL TFTC
I was very pleased to find someone had put a cache in this lovely town - Nice spot - great hotel! TFTC!
Pulling in we disturbed a bus driver sleeping. There was music playing nearby and the place looked alive for a country town. Perhaps the 2 are related.
The cache was a quick find in good condition. The land round here is beautiful and it soon had us googling properties for sale but alas it's a bit out of our league. Tftc

I drove down to Wonthaggi as Geo daughter had a dental appointment ??
The dentist canceled, I wasn’t very happy but there was no sense complaining.
A few Geo’s on the way home was my idea, found a few detours sling the way which just meant we went the long way and grabbed a couple more.
Thanks for providing a cache to do along the way!

Out with Tagalong Wife for a drive on a beautiful autumn day. We decided to collect a few caches as well. Thanks for adding to our drive Gonefishen07
After leaving Phillip Island and having to travel to Kongwak to pick up a friend, knew there would have to be a cache along the way and as it has been a drought for me lately stopped to pick this one up. Quiet little place with no one around on this beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. Thanks for the cache .
With the rain still coming down quite steadily this was a great place under the trees to retrieve the well hidden cache. Love the history of this town.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache

SPRUNG!! A worker at the printers came out to see what we were up to. She was pretty nice about it really, and...now she knows. We used one of the "what are we doing" cards that was in the Surf Coast Mega show bags. So...thanks geocaching Melbourne, that was a big help in our explanation. Neat little cache, and Archie's Creek is pretty nice.
A Wintry blast here today, with more cold wind and rain to strike us later in the day as we cached a bit wider afield.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for this driveby.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Thanks for bringing us through here, a great detour on our way to Wonthaggi on a wet and windy long weekend. TFTC.
Suscoe had a bit of exploration work today trying to find a good number of caches that we missed this week as we were wandering the countryside of this area.
We are enjoying wandering the country roads and taking in the farmland scenes around here, Some fine looking cattle too.
A cloudy start to the day with drizzle keeping things cool, a strong wind at times and later on some delightful sunshine too.
29th find of the day.
All quiet at Archies today, but we could see how this would have been different in days gone by.

Hi there Gonefishen07.
We found your cache "Archies really up the Creek"at 11:28:00 AM today, & this now makes our find count 12633.
Our cache run today started with another aborted attempt to fill a hole in our D/T grid - the rain was so bad that we just headed back to the car. Our alternate plan was to log a random cache and then navigate from cache to cache using the "next closest" method before returning back to camp for a rather late lunch.
After we were suitably refreshed we trudged our way along the beach to finally find the elusive 5/4.5 cache.
Today we ended up logging 16 and DNFing 1 caches.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Out and about with xambo4u and after the event we headed off to find a few caches. Decided to do a little drive out of town. Cache was quickly found in an obvious location. TFTC
Out and about with 80 degrees and having tested our taste buds at the event we moved on to test our other senses. Having done a few in town we decided to take a drive to the outskirts. We have been coming camping at Cape Paterson for ....years and have never ventured this far out. Nice little town. Easy find, thanks for bringing us here
Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07

Found this one today. This was a really easy find once I worked out where it was and I suspect that it might qualify for a NZ challenge cache which requires finding of isolated caches. Signed log and continued.
Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07.
