Weather: Warm fall afternoon

I was driving from Zion Canyon to Las Vegas and decided to find a traditional cache in each of the 3 states. I had stored the details for this cache before leaving Australia, which was lucky as the mobile signal was a bit dodgy. TNLNSL, TFTC

The Frenchies are on vacation in Las Vegas and take the opportunity to make many caches in the area, we discover the American West (Death Valley, Grand Canyon and so on…) and more especially the city of Las Vegas through all hidden caches in the sector, the weather is perfect and finally we'll find all caches.
Thank you to all the owners of these discoveries and all boxes that allowed us to visit a small part of the United States.
We drop some travel bugs off on some caches and we give some favorite points for the most surprising geocaches or most successful.

Cool idea for a cache... although it currently more closely resembles a T. Very fun an clever hide.
Our second Arizona cache and third for the day as we drove from Pahrump, Nevada to Zion National park. We found a similar cache called X marks the spot in Phrump and we thought it was so funny that we just had to stop and grab this one as well. Awesome views of the mountains from this cache. The x has seen finer days but we still had no trouble finding the cache. As we walked back to the car the cache owner pulled up and asked if we found it. He explained to us that the x's are actually placed by surveyors and that was not something he had put in place. We've never seen anything like that back in Wisconsin. So fun to meet our first cache hider on our trip out west. Thanks for placing and stopping by to visit with us.
Sadly, the X is all torn up. And also sadly, we didn't find the cache. Hopefully we'll get it next time!
Spent the day out in the desert around Littlefield and took the old road back to Mesquite where I'm staying. Had a great time today! Thanks for your cache gambler43!

After completing the Route 66 caches and then heading to Las Vegas for a few days, Albida and I headed up to Utah and Arizona to grab a few more caches.
This one was found after a brief search and we were off to the next one.

Then we must to make a new plan.
Are we going to the united states or do we stay in The Netherlands. After a long talk we disired to go to the states.
The flight was booked for 8th of Marth.
Now we must to get a hotel to sleep. In Henderison we booked our Hotel.
We have an option to place a extra bed in this room.
A few weeks for we are leeving we come together.
At that moment Geonauten was on this conversation and told us that he going with us to the United States. So we are with tree.
The days before we get to Vegas was Twitter the way to speak.
On the day we left we did a cache in the Netherlands and go with the train to Schiphol Airport.
After a long trip we arived in Las Vegas. We must get a car for all terrain. We desired to rented a Jeep.
We drove to the event of the germans and did some caches.
Then we checked in the hotel and we must sleep. The next day we want to start with the E.T. caches. 4.00 AM we left the hotel and drive for stamp many caches
In the evening / night we are on number 1000. Were we did sleep in the jeep. In the desert is it very hot, but in the night very cold. In the morning we marked 1000 with stones.
After 2 days we finished the trail and al of the 1500 cache are loged. With some other caches we drive to the hotel for a nice sleep.
The next day we do not many caches. Only some oldest GC-numbers.In the evening we had our own event "Meet the dutch". At this event we have sirupwafels from The Netherlands for all of the people.
After the E.T. trail we have not enough from caching, we want to do the Route 66 on one day.
This trail is not so easy but good for the points. Halfway we have make "NL" in stones.
The next day was a toeristday, we did some of caches.
Wednesday we did an other state with many rock caches.
The last day we bring the car back and go back to the Netherlands.
This was a week with nice days new records, great weather, jeep trips, climbing and a lot of fun.
