Hi there Rats_In_The_Rain.
We found your cache **"Little Rats Base"** today. (This makes our find count 22928).
Following through on our habit of walking around lakes and parks we decided to attempt a couple of multis - and of course to log any traditionals we passed along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk and the scenery . (We found 4 caches today & DNF'd 0).
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache was soaked, we spent some time drying it out, but it still needs some "Owner TLC".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you Rats_In_The_Rain for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Hi there Rats_In_The_Rain,
RE: Your cache **"Little Rats Base"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache is cracked and very wet. We spent some time drying it out, but it still needs some "Owner TLC".
We would have liked to replace/maintain the cache but we were really unprepared today and had nothing to replace it with.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Quick detour on the way home and a pleasant walk into this one, slowed up a bit in the long grass close to GZ and found the cache relatively quickly, the container was a little water logged but the snap lock was keeping the log dry, emptied out the water and dried as much as possible before replacing it back where I found it.
Thanks Rats_In_The_Rain for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1766 for me.

Day 38 of our 50 day straight challenge.
Had brought the Joeys to Yangebup Lake for some geocaching this morning and as I had already found those ones I went and grabbed this one. It was near where I had parked the car and a short walk later I had my find for the day. TFTC

After sussing out the best way in I still took my time dodging spiders and watching where I put my feet. The cache was destroyed. Holes have let the water in and the contents were rotted. I had a replacement cache on me so I left a new container and log beside the original. TFTC.
Out and about today and decided to drop by and grab this. Parked up nearby and made my way to gz for a quick find.
Rats_In_The_Rain, Kyzabra found your cache Little Rats Base, the cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Had to walk through the grass.Cache container has a hole in it. The book was wet but seems to have dried a bit.
Found easily after a quick walk through the scrub.
Cache needs tlc - container has lots of holes and log is getting wet. Able to log find.

A great start to the day with a nice and easy find! The cache is in good condition and we replaced it as found. T4TC Rats_In_The_Rain!!!
Headed out today to clear more of the local areas. Today was getting the ones a little further than the typical P+G type cache and the weather was a little better than yesterday so made for some Pleasent short walks.
All were found in good condition TFTC TFTC.

TFTC! Spent the arvo out caching with Cravo10'picking up a few caches nearby home that required a little bit more effort than some of our recent caching forays picking up simple park and grab type caches.
Had to complete a few walks which was quite good for the legs and wasn't too bad really, most of the caches were found in really good condition. Thanks to the local COs for their caches.
I am looking forward to meeting a bunch of other cachers at International Geocaching Day 2016 GC6KGDH in Geraldton on the weekend of 20th August. It's a great trip with a bunch of quality hides including some nice and difficult ones.

In the area this arvo and decided to stop in here and have a go at this one.
More or less straight lined it from my parking spot without too much trouble. Arrived at GZ and found after a short search nit where I thought it would be.
Rats_In_The_Rain I found your cache at 4:50pm, this was the 2nd of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3306. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

After a last start DNF that feels better. A quick find after a bit of a slog. TFTC Rats_In _The_Rain.
I parked up just off North Lake Road and headed into the reserve. It didn't take me too long to get the GZ and cache was found very quickly. TFTC here Rats_In_The_Rain
I had this cache on my Garmin but as I walked from Yangebup Lake 3, there were 2 fences and a road separating us, so I had my doubts. As I reached the corner of North Lake Road I saw an entrance across the road, so off I went to look. I kept in mind the last 2 logs: the long grass is now lying down but could still hide slitheries, and for the spiders I was doing figure 8's with my geostick.
Got to GZ where I quickly located the cache, SL and left a tag, and very quickly made my way back to the path. TFTC Rats In The Rain!

Walked through the long grass to get this one & stumbled into some really huge spiderwebs.....needles to say the spiders were enormous too! The cache was in the open(probably moved by the spiders).I signed the log & tucked it away. TFTC.
I was out and about on an early morning caching run and this one was on the list.
There was quite s lot of tall grass to walk through to get this one . A nice quick find once at GZ though as the container was exposed. All is good with the cache and I signed the log and carried on

Had the day off school to spend with my family, before Dad goes back to work... We headed to Fremantle & found this cache on our way home Thanks Rats_In_The_Rain!
Had to do a lot of stomping with the kids on our way to GZ, as it looked very much like tiger snake country . Thankfully, we didn't see any, and the cache was easily found by DangerMouse09 as we approached . All ok and dry with the cache and its contents ... TFTC Rats In The Rain
Had some time to grab some caches on the way home from work this Arvo and enjoy some sunshine. Nice easy find find. TFTH
On detour from Yangebup Lake series, found by Geohubby as Geowife was waylaid by arachnid variety detours....
Cache was a quick find after the trek through the long grass. Thankfully didn't find any slithery things.

Out for a Sunday morning of caching, near Bibra Lake.
We visited lots of local urban parks & bushland, with a good variety of hides.

Taking my girlfriend 7 year old son on a geocaching day and he loves it.. We manage to do 18 in total .. Nice quick find with a beautiful day
Detour from Yangebup Lake Series. Good fun walk along to GZ and signed the log. Thanks rats in the rain.
Thanks out for evening walk and thought I'd duck into the bushes to have a forage for it
After reading the previous logs we were expecting to have to machete our way through dense jungle - the grass was well below knee height although quite thick. With iluvtrekking made an uneventful trip to gz to make a quick find. Thanks Rats in the rain.
Family Bike ride - the grass proved too treacherous for tired kids, but found it! Took a soldier, left a Beauty and the Beast "chip" cup.

Took a friend and showed her the delights of caching. Easy find in suburban bushland, better than nanos & micros placed up council pumps and other pieces of park infrastructure.

Buggered if we could see the easy route in, we trudged 100m through scrub both ways. But at least so snakes! Quick find once finally there, thanks.
Wow you really do find some awful places to hide caches! Used up another 2 of my 9 lives trapsing through long weeds and stumbling over submerged white ant ridden stumps. Just to make matters worse, after first finding the cache from the northernish route, I then went to the nearby multi off Osprey Dr and thought I'd forgotten to find this cache, so then rode back down and found it by trekking another 100m through snake infested grass from the Osprey side!! When oh when will I learn! Thanks for the cache Rats In The Rain.
Found this one on the way home from visiting family up Lancelin way, and dropping son off at Murdoch Uni. Thought it was a good time to try a few caches in this area. Will return another day with geobuddy to find the ones I missed today..
Bit of bush bashing but some good gps coords lead us straight onto gz and the cache, mrs TA however was a little concerned about rats In the area and those slithery things that eat them! Tfth
First cache for the year!
Decided I needed some exercise so walked to this one from my place. Geowife was put off by the potential grass wading so opted out of this one.Very easy find. Found a relatively clear path and walked half way to the cache but thought the path ended and I veered off into the grass.Once I found the cache it was more clear as to the easy way out. TFTC.

Hmmm we read the cache listing and so set off following a nice path assuming it would lead near the cache. Eventually giving up and taking a sandy path in the general direction, till that too ran out.
Off in the distance, we could see another path (or so we thought) so set off for that alas we had now circumnavigated the cache! Doh! Finally biting the bullet and walking through the grass to the cache.
quick find at GZ and then just walked the 100mts back to the path near the road. We sure didnt see any path within 10mts of the cache.

This was another enjoyable walk through a pleasant reserve. Once near GZ a quick find was made. TFTC Rats In The Rain
We approached from the South of the cache site and found it no problems. I went with my step sis this time and it was her first cache find. In: Nil. Out: Nil
Walking from "Lucky Dip" cache I took the correct track heading South East past the piles of limestone and mulch then down a worn track. I could see the GZ from the track. Getting to the cache was no problem, there plenty of gaps in the clumps so you can see what is on the ground, I have been through worse this week. An easy find SL TFTC

Found after finishing at Cockburn council. GPS had me wandering around in circles for a bit, but soon settled down and I found the well hidden cache no worries. Thanks.
Parked the car behind the bus stop on the other side of the road, crossed and walked up to the cache. Not sure where the short path into the scrub started, but the 100 metre walk was not too bad, morning dew may the going a bit damp but I soon arrived at the GZ. The cache was too hand quickly, I signed the log and dropped of the Thief GC. Thanks rats for the cache
Nice easy find after finding another nearby cache. The container was spotted as I approached the cache, there doesn't seem to be much camouflage left. Signed the log between swatting mozzies intent on some blood letting. Used some of the local camouflage when re hiding the container so it's not so obvious. Thanks for the cache
Not sure where the best place would be to park for this cache, but had to move my car due to concerns about a suspicious character wandering about where I first left it. So probably ended up doing it the hard way, but it was a nice quick find once at GZ. No signs of any snakes today thankfully.
Thanks for the hunt Rats in the Rain.

I have to head down this way to retrieve the original (Archived) Sudoku Series 1 Cache - Little Rush Lake, which is very very very close to this one. Thanks Rats In The Rain for continuing the Bugs mission and for giving me more incentive to do my long overdue maintenance.
We are having a big garage sale this weekend so I'm swamped other wise I would've been there
come on down as we are here until at least noon or 1pm and we have lots of stuff left!

I headed out when I saw this published, but when I got nearish to GZ and saw the signs for dugites and tiger snakes and then saw the long grass, I decided it was a cache best not done on your own.
