1st of 2 DNFs (& 9 finds) - Cecil Park, Denham Court, Edmondson Park & Horningsea Park.
Having finished the last half of "The Fruit Trail" (my last one being Plum II), this was now my only unfound in Cecil Park, so I was keen to come over. Like the previous logger, I too got right down to prone, but found nothing. No luck when I expanded my search either. Could do with a CO check?
I went for a bit of a drive to get my next cache, "Not Edmondson".

Tftc, Parked next to GZ and once the few cars coming from the.shooting range had gone i made a quick retrieval, SL, put geo back and made our way to the next on our list. Thanks 4 showing us this area, had no idea things like this existed. Tfth
Brought a TB from Canada here for a visit as it is wants to visit Olympic locations
Find #1621 - 17 for today. Found on 10/05/2015 4:58 pm
Found it after a brief search. Log book unwritable, left a piece of paper, but log book needs drying out. TNSLLN

Coords were spot on and the clue perfect for a quick find. The log is saturated. I had spares and bags too, but what would I have done with the current log? TFTC.
On the way home from work, tried looking around for about 10 minutes, couldn't find it. Didn't want to look too suspicious with those security cameras out front. Will be back for another go next time.

Another day out and about and picking up a few caches on the way!
A nice easy quick find. Had a look at the MTB track nearly after

Today I had to visit our Aviation Radar site at Cecil Park, on the top of the big hill to the East of this cache, for some maintenance work. I arrived a bit early so took a quick diversion, a little further along Elizabeth Drive, to grab this one.
A quick find before heading up the hill to begin the working day. Thanks Burkey Turkeys for the nice "pre-work" cache.

After a few days of non caching I got the ole Geo itch again. Early morning start still dark had a great trip down the thin black line not a vehicle in sight, That’s the way it should be. Headed out towards Blacktown, Penrith and a few stops along the way to Picton to try my hand and to see what I could find
Thanks for the adventure

#1430 (5 of 5 today)
Came out this direction a bit late today with three caches specifically targeted.
Only found two of the three, but at least grabbed a few others on my way.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Getting to GZ I worried that the cache was the wrong side of the fence, but once out of the car, it was all good.
Cache was found in the logical spot.
Completed signing duties and replaced... exactly where is that security camera pointed?

Quick cache check. Replaced the damp log sheet. All good to go now. Happy Caching!
It was raining the ground was pretty soggy, so wasn't too keen to get on the ground and I was getting weird looks from passers by. I'll try again next time
9,019 + 1,010 = 10,029. Found during a work trip to the Penrith region.
Heading home after finishing work I grabbed a last few local caches before the long drive. Eleventh find and a quick drive-by stop and find. Signed, returned. and I was off to the next one !
Thanks Burkey Turkeys ! Nice spot for a Cache !
TNLN - TFTC !!

YES! I first attempted this Geocache early last year with some friends with no luck. Finished work for the day and decided to take the scenic route home, thought I would stop by this geocache and give it another shot.
First place I looked, I found it. Woohoo!!
Couldn't sign the log as it is soaked.

That was hard work, where it was expected, but very well hidden. Clue definitely helped as did geodad's long reaching arms. As noted by previous cachers, log is saturated. Tftc xo
The ageing bushfire was out the door early today as the (NGW) non geocaching wife required the wheels this afternoon other wise we may not eat and that would not be good. At least I provide the beer and wine which I must go and see Dan Murphy tomorrow.
On arrival here I was aware of the camera's and could not get over the amount of traffic passing. The cache was soon located, signed and I was on my way to the next.
Thanks Burkey Turkeys for placing this cache.

I did fel like I was being watched with so many security cameras on this gate area, but I made the find in quick time and signed the log before heading home to escape the heat of the day.
thanks.
thanks.
Got in the prone position and could not see anything but new landscaping bark that had been freshly laid. After spending about 15mins looking I was thinking maybe the cache has been removed or covered in fresh landscaping bark......
Easy find even with the passing traffic. Prone is definitely the most comfortable position for this target. Tftc
Found at 10 am.
I was surprised that there was so much traffic in and out of this gate.

Security turned up!!! (Lucky they didn't ask any questions)
Why would a place like this need security?
(No questions asked, cache found........and the cache still secure)
Nice one TY Burkey Turkeys!

We were (kind of) nearby here today for a birthday party, and detoured on the way home to find this cache.
We had a bit of drama - just after we got out of the car, the Imp found a huge ant on her foot & started screaming when she got some bites. While I was tending to her, CFig found the cache for us. He likes it when he gets the gloating rights that he found it .
Thanks

Strange to find a BT cache so far from home after having found the rest on the north shore. Not a venue I've visited before and this is outside the gates. The phone decided to lock on a certain distance and stay there but I used my cacher's sense to make the find. Signed and replaced. There's some termite damage occurring here.
Thanks!
Thanks!
#13331 and Day 65- It's all about statistics I hear people say- On day 5 of the Olympics, it was appropriate that I drove from the mountains, past the exit to the Whitewater stadium( I'll be watching an ex student in the Olympic semi's of kayaking tomorrow), past the Equestrian centre and down to the Shooting centre to get this cache. I'm not fond of caching in the dark, buut it was a neccessity to keep the streak alive. When I arrived here, the place was in darkness, apart from the security guard locked up in his office inside (probably watching the Olympics shooting on TV). A quick find and I was off home to do what... watch the Olympics of course. Thanks Burkey Turkeys.
A good hint. This would be hard to get most times due to the amount of muggles nearby. Got it on dark. TFTC.
Out and about with the rml for a lunch break. Good to get out of work for a bit. Go Aussie.
Found with spitfire d during a lunch break. memories of fun had here a while ago with the under and over.

Made a quick grab in the dark while jakesti06 was still firing up his gps. Saw the gaurds in the box but I dont think they noticed or cared about us being there. TFTC
Pulled up and heard the shooting over yonder, Geokids set about searching and Geoson soon had CIH.
We signed the new log and returned as found.

Found with pjmpjm on our day's caching.
While there is really only one place it could be this cache did prove somewhat elusive. Mind you we do like to make things harder than they have to be!
In the end it was located in the obvious spot, extracted and the log signed and returned.
Thanks for the cache, I expected a noisier time with gun shot all over the place, but it was in fact very quiet.

Stopped by the gate of the SISC with rogerw3 while undertaking a trig hunt in the western Sydney area.
We were momentarily puzzled by the odd structure until I finally thought to follow the CO's instructions! Then all became clear . . .
The cache was in good order. TNLNSL.
It was rather quiet around the SISC this afternoon and we weren't disturbed by security guards or anyone else.
And no sounds of gunfire . . .
Many thanks to the Burkey Turkeys!

Out at the Shooting Centre to do some orienteering today, so went looking for this cache durina warm-down jog. Found it. TFTC
Quick find on our way to the shooting range with nephew and niece. They arranged for me to try trap shooting for the first time in my life... got 7 out of 25!.

TFTC, Making a trip out to "The Dam Creek" to complete the present journey for "GlenWarra" Compas Rose. Visited with trackables taking in the trip and a visit to Warragamba Dam to see the first overflow in 14 years.
Tried this one coupla weeks ago but the Security bloke was sitting in his little office but today I drove straight past and then snuck back and played 'sneakin's up' and got the cache did the paper work and crawled back and then awaywith another smiley under my belt>
Thanks Acko

I have never been this side of the city so I didn't know about the existance of this shooting range either!

Got to GZ but there was a Suzuki Parked at the gate, with a big Security sign on it with an even bigger security Man moving VERY meaningfully in a meaningful way with a walk that, I believe, was only hampered by the muscle mass throughout his body. I decided that I should leave and return when I grew some!!!!!!

Found OK but it was floating in a pool at the base of the hide site having been washed off by the 'small shower' that was taking place as we found it (my Aussie friends description not mine!)
Managed to dry it out and replace

A day out caching and this was one of a plethora of caches we found.
I'd never been in here until today and after today I've only been as far as the front gate.
Thanks

Parked the car across the front of the structure to ensure a muggle free zone, spent some time poking around until I did as the hint suggests, easy find from there. not a good one if you have some good work cloths you want to keep clean TFTF. plenty of room on the back of log - full page to go
Had a good look, took the position still didn't come up with the goods today. Will have another crack next time I'm out that way.
Log not near full - at least 20 more spaces. Another faked cache by RIGBYinc as well. Soon located this cache. SL TFTC
proved to be a difficult one with many cars and trucks going by. Will have to come back.
As the cover of darkness started to set in, we pulled up to this one and quickly had the cache in hand. We returned to the car to sign the log and it was at that point we seemed to have come to the attention of the Security guards nearby, we quickly returned the cache and got out of there with no need for explanations thankfully. TFTC.
A gold medal find on this one and with the sound of gunfire in the backgound
I was off to the next hunt on the list...TFTC...
