US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 19. Time to cross a few more US states of the list for Caching, starting in Casper, Wyoming. Our second day in Casper, not what we had planned, but we noticed a bit late. We visited some interesting areas around town, the Fort area being my highlight. This was a bit of a clamber up, but all well at the top. The bushes in the gully seem to have been converted to a housing estate. Thanks.

After continuing up the trail we picked a way up and was a bit of a scramble but enjoyable walk found it quickly once I got near GZ.
Now back to car...last of this trail for us today.

Casper day 2
My First trip to Wyoming, now that the snow was melting made it a little more comfortable, and certainly enjoyed the greener climate from Nevada.

Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Visiting from Australia and found with Albida and mtrax during our 4 week US adventure...

Arrived in Casper for a few days before heading further north, and attending an event that we (mtrax) had arrange with some of the locals.

Found this one ok...although the snow did hamper us at a couple of others.

Thanks for this one and greetings from Australia.....

We hadn't planned on wandering all the way over from the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, but somehow, it happened. We headed back to the car after this one as we had no water, sunscreen, or hats and it was 74 and sunny. I now have a lovely red glow. Loved the views along the way. TFTC.

After changing clothes this evening i decided to try out the trail behind the hotel again. The gps had me at about 30 feet away but instinct kicked in and i made the easy find. Thanks for the cache.

I set out to do a solo road trip covering 2 countries and 9 states, targeting over 500 caches. The planning and cache selection phase took almost two weeks. There was lots of nice caches along the route, but I decided to give this one a try based upon the cache description, it looked fun, and helped meet a challenge requirement. I enjoyed the hunt for the cache and the scenery at the GZ. Thanks to the CO for the fun hunt and nice cache, TFTC!
