Unfortunately I only found part of the cache so I need to write DNF. Hopefully next time I come I can claim it as I know where it is. Thanks for replacing it. I know a lot of time and effort goes into something like this and it’s sad that somebody has taken it.
TFTC. I must have been a sight for sore eyes getting down on the ground and trying to get up again. I have 2 titanium knees and I hate kneeling. Had quite a few men come over and ask if I was ok or if I had lost something. I knew it was going to be a tricky find and knew what I was looking for. I was standing eliminating things in my head when my eyes caught sight of something and sure enough it was the cache. Love the view here.
As per previous adelaidian Davidwazza, a dnf for me.. even disturbed 4 bush turjeys ploughing thru foliage tge other side if fence... thanjs
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, jesswrigley and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, jesswrigley and I travelled from Port Macquarie to Coffs Harbour. We spent the morning in Port Macquarie exploring the beaches and completing *Port Macquarie Coastal Walk* Adventure Lab. We then saw some of the historical town and completed the *Make Way For The Commandant* Adventure Lab. We then made our way north, stopping off in Kempsey for lunch and a LGA geocache find, and then visited Nambucca Heads in the afternoon. We had scenic views at a lookout stop, and then a nice walk at the headland and V-wall. Finally, we arrived in Coffs Harbour, and did the obligatory Big Banana stop, and then walked around the foreshore jetty and harbour area.
We visited here whilst completing the Adventure Lab, and we were treated to some nice views at the lookout. We suspected what we were looking for, but after spending 15 min searching for the elusive cache, it was evident that it was too good for us today. It did feel like that we had exhausted all possible hiding spots. Thanks anyway Browngang for the cache placement.

We were diverted up to the lookout whilst doing the Coastal Walk Adventure Lab, so decided to grab this while we were here. This was a devious hide - nicely done - and despite the generous hint, and the fact we've found a dozen of these, very nearly DNFd it.....

After what has felt like an eternity, we are finally taking our first geocaching road trip since Clear Waters in Canberra with Crzymelly, TeamPQS and HubbyandMrs.
When I first looked while the geokids were exploring the playground, I was unlucky. Once HubbyandMrs pointed us in the right direction, the find was made. I'm sure we would have DNF'd if it wasn't for their confirmation.

While we were completing the Port Macquarie Coastal Walk Adventure Lab we located this tricky little hide. MR Shifter spotted it and then Mrs Shifter retrieved it. The log is wet and was difficult to sign, we have photographic proof if needed.
Thanks for the hide Browngang.
Thanks for the hide Browngang.
Staying in town for a couple of days as we head up the coast, the rain cleared and the sin came out so we headed out (with everyone else) to make the most of it... A quick and simple find here, but I daren't even get the damp log out for fear of it ripping to shreds or not being able to fit it back in. Thanks for the hide and smiley here Browngang.
Grabbed this one during the Adventure Lab.

Caching with Viper_101... found while doing an Adventure Lab that has just appeared in Port... thanks for placing
Found with Key_Tat in the company of Tatt2squared while doing a nearby Adventure Lab... thanks for placing.
We found the cache fair quickly but opening it took a bit longer. We had to halt proceedings for a few minutes when we were joined by a couple of muggles. It's such a great view though and we were happy to stand and take a few photos. TFTC
Easier to see than to retrieve.
Needed 2 hands and thank goodness no one was around to see Mrs Riddell almost laying flat to achieve this.
TFTC and the fun.

We were just about to give up when our growing decided to have one last look. Luck y he did as he came up trumps
TFTC,
We stopped in at this great location overnight to catch up with Cat and Pete.
An offer was made to drive us around to some of the great sites that also provided a chance to find a few caches. No way such an offer would be refused and we had a great time.
Now that is something new.
Added a favourite.

Checking out the view on a tour of Port Macquarie, this was a very well hidden cache. I put my hand on it, but couldn't get what I wanted. Wazza9 soon had the log in hand, signed log and replaced. Thanks to Browngang.
Found with Gazkersh and littlemisslonglegs. Excellent hide. Thanks for bringing us here

We love verbatim descriptions We found it after a bit of a scramble through greenery: it’s right there but fully out of sight from standard standings. Went back to normal position to retrieve it. The view is nice, too! TFTC
Walked over and had to wait for the muggles to retrieve the cache had to wait five minutes but eventually retrieved it signed it and replaced it carefully tftc what a lovely view
Found. A very sneaky hide. It was guarded by a huge Goanna who seemed to follow me around. TFTC

A park that I have never stopped at and a little lookout. Be a little bit careful of the not so little lizard.
Found with lyn999 and burgs00. Thanks so much for such a great location for placing a cache.
Beautiful location for a cache and a sneaky hide. Had lots of fun finding this one. Thanks heaps!
Found at 3:45:00 PM
Nice little park. I had a little help spotting it as I looked down and didn't see anything at first. I have made one of these too. Mine is behind a puzzle and doesn't get found very often.
Thanks Browngang

Stopped by here on the way home from picking up the kids from the movies. It was still raining so was going for a quick look, given I have hunted this one many times before but couldn't get far due to the tree coverage. As I drove by this time I noticed the tree had been cut and there was a gap to climb in and hunt around the fences. So stopped and did just that to then sight what I was looking for and hence I then realised I didn't need to climb in under the trees at all!! Took a bit of work to extract but finally can tick this one off the 'to find' list. TFTC A favourite for this one too.
What a great view and what a great hide. Very clever and enjoyable. Took about 20 mins but persistence pays
Here for a brief stop while on a trip up north and came here to look at the famous natural rock formation. Seeing as there was also a cache right here we had a look. But we initially couldn’t find it. Read through some past logs and the hint. When almost about to give up I finally spotted it hiding there. Was a bit hard to reach and then difficult to get the log out. But eventually signed the log and replaced it all as found. Found with SmudgeyCat DG. TFTC
We are heading to Morisset for the Geo Muster at Easter with the caravan in tow.
After a lovely meal and good sleep our host took us on a cook's tour of Port Macquarie. After terrible weather yesterday today was beautiful.
A tricky little hide that presented us with some difficulties retrieving the log. We have left a new one to make it easier for teh next person.
