Find No: 7867. Attended an event at Diamond Head with shaneo58, picked up a few whilst in the district and on the way home to Newcastle, thanks for the cache lightsaberlodge!!
didnt realize from the GPS this was disabled but cache in great condition Thanks for placing these caches and the ongoing maintenance of them for our enjoyment , what a wonderful part of the world we have right at the doorstep , so much to enjoy so little time to see it all thanks again
Found with kingfisher_au While here early for the camping event at Diamond Head. Thanks for placing this cache and bring us here.
Found on a trip to stay with family in Dunbogan and just had to get a few caches while I was here love it tftf
Found but ignore the sign on the gate. I didn't and got cut to pieces with lantana and Wait a While bushes where it should have been a nice stroll to GZ. TFTC
Found with Mum and Dad. (Gazkersh and littlemissleft) TFTC. So funny! Loved this!
Found with littlemissleft and littlemisslonglegs
Thanks for the cache
Another awesome cache thanks again

Found with Gazkersh and littlemisslonglegs. TFTC! Best container ever Thanks for the adventure!
Quick find at GZ. However it was a bush bash to reach it, terrain rating seems a little low. Thanks for the cache.
Thought we would grab a few caches in the area while camping at Indian head. Word to the wise swimmers aren't bush bash appropriate but alas... I did it! Haha. TFTC
We took a quick trip down to Laurieton this afternoon to look for a few caches we had not got to on our recent trip and to also explore the southern side of the river.
This was our final cache for the day in the rapidly fading light.
We located the trail and set off on our way. It is becoming a bit overgrown but we were still able to work our way through easily following the arrow on the GPSr. The clue didn't mean much at first, but once spotted it all made sense. Lucky for us as it was now almost dark and without the came which gave us a laugh we probably wouldn't have found it.
The trek back out was even more interesting because now the light had pretty much gone!

Always love a cache that's clearly been a labour of lave. Wonderful creativity and a nice bit of bush bashing to find it. Favourite from us. TFTC.
I have known these few caches were up this road for a while now, but hadn't gotten to them yet. Now that the tip has moved this area is so much quieter so todays hunts were easy as. Loved this one, so very creative. Bit of bush to bash through to get to but still manageable. TFTC. A favourite point from us.
TFTC Short walk and a little bush bashing along a small track and cache was in hand. Had difficulty opening cache container as it was tight.
What a glorious day for some Caching. A quick short walk of bush bashing and we soon had Cache in hand. Favourite Point given for CO's efforts with design. Many thanks for bringing us here. TNLN SL TFTC
Good day for a bush bash while in the area, loved the hide for this, fit the theme nicely. TFTC
A well planned and executed hide this one, just like we have come to experience from the lightsabrelodges. There had to be an entry track somewhere! And there was, though well "hidden" by undergrowth. TFTC
eat your heart out Bear Grills. fav for the cache. On a quick trip around after the electricity was cut off for the day. tnln sl Thanks for the cache Lightsaberlodge. cheers from ozglory
With a souvenir up for grabs we decided to do a day trip to Laurieton and this cache fitted the bill nicely. Very clever hide, deserving of the number of fav. points, in fact I'll give it another one. Thanks for this one
Found by Pat & Cheryl at 1:54 pm. Thanks for bringing us to this great location and helping us to increase our tally.Really enjoyed this cache lightsaberlodge and this is #1080 so far for us. Great hide and made me hungry.
In North Haven, taking the kids for a drive and swim, so will take the opportunity to grab a cache or 2. It's along time while since a 4WD was down this track but we made our way watching the spiders and over growth to GZ. An easy find once with a novel idea.
Thanks lightsaberlodge for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

17/1/16. 7:43 AM. Cache #3388. Streak day #574.
9th of 15 for the morning - Camden Head & Dunbogan.
We're up at Bonny Hills for the week, and I was up early to get some caching done. I started off looking for WP1 of "Hope's Lost Whisky". No luck there but I won't give that one a DNF log as I'll be back there again. Next plan - thought I'd go for some of the MNCW series while I'm up here. Made my way from #200 to #190 inclusive (mostly in that order except for one of them) and grabbed a few others not from the series as well.
This one - another one of the non-MNCW caches, in between #195 & #193. Made my way up the narrow track and worked out where to start bush-bashing. And then something looked out of order. Ha ha very good! A lot of work has gone into this one - worthy of a fave pt. Back to the car... ah dang, the road is closed, gotta take the long way around to #193. TFTC.

Road was closed for roadworks & we were not dressed for a bushwalk so this one will have to wait.
What a fantastic cache well worth the bloody bush trek to get to it. Best one so far. TFTC.
Today was cache maintenance day we found the cache in place but decided to service it any way
We will try and get down to service this one on the weekend sorry for the inconvenience
16/29 + 2DNF's for the day - TFTC - Back again and anther great day for a drive along the coast & a Cache - Sadly this one has been muggled , cache open on ground, contents scattered, and no log - replaced contents and closed the cache, placed with camo but didn't have any spare logs with us
This cache needs a new log and not sure how it fitted with the camo so just placed at the base
16/29 caches found today. Appears that this cache has been muggled. No spare log books so can't replace.
A family of meat ants appear to have made a home in the hump this one is located on. After opening the cache and finding there was nothing to sign inside I noted I was being surrounded. Me being allergic to those buggers I may have abandoned ship without packing away the cache. Very sorry as it look to have been a great catch at one time but was in need of some maintenance.
FelixII suggested a day of geocaching at Big Brother, Laurieton and surrounds and a picnic lunch to keep us all going. Of course we thought it was a wonderful idea and jumped at the chance to join the adventure.
We first needed to complete some domestic type durties for our respective caravans and whilst there there just happened to be a geocache for us to find. After a short chat with the wonderful couple at the Kew Information Centre we was off again.
We arrived at the top of a very high hill and took in the spectacular views from the two lookouts and of course found a few caches and a couple of leeches to boot. A group of hang-glider guys where waiting for the right breeze and later in the day from our picnic spot down the hill we saw them in action in the distance.
We spent the afternoon finding more caches around the area while enjoying the scenery.
Thanks to everyone whos caches we found today for such a memorable experiece geocaching. We will remember the day long after we head home to WA.

Found during our January Family holiday to the NSW Mid North Coast, camping at Kylies Beach in the Crowdy Bay National Park. 132nd find of the holiday.
Very wet today but braved the weather for a few more finds. Got drenched getting through the scrub to get to this one but loved what we saw when we finally arrived at GZ. Most appropriate for the cache title. Good fun.
3rd find of the day. TFTC.

Found at 1300 while on a geocaching trip in the Port Macquarie area. A quick find. TFTC.
I had found a couple of nearby caches and decided to make this one my last for the day as it was starting to get dark. Followed the cacher trail to GZ. Knew where the cache was as soon as I saw GZ Log signed and cache replaced. No monkeys required for this one
A well thought out and constructed cache. Highlight of my day of caching the coast.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Got to gz & soon found the cache, what a great idea, we love som a bit different, well done.

Last year we avoided this one in the heat of the summer, the track just looked too dodgy. However, today it was an easy short stroll to GZ, where we had a laugh at the excellent camo. Thanks from us for a good cache, we liked it.
I'm going mental!!! I'm starting to see things....; SL, TFTC and a fav point from us
This would be our favourite cache for the day (and earns a favourite point). The hard part was getting through the scrub to get to GZ where we were greeted by a great cache - to say more might give away the the elemnt of surprise. For someone out of town, we wondered if there was an easier access and if so, if starting coordinates could be provided. Thanks for the caching experience lightsaberlodge.
This look a little interesting on our way back from the earth cache. We missed the track initially and bush bashed our way to GZ where we came across the track. We missed the cache on the first pass but then laughed when we saw the camo. We opened it up and then completed the signing duties before re hiding. TFTC

Up visiting family over Christmas and Smurfyguy and Geotooter decided to do a bit of a sightseeing tour and pick up a few caches on the way. We discovered the obvious entry point in and wandered down with the path a bit overgrown. The compass needle was pointing 5m into the bush so in we went. We soon came across the reason for the cache name and that made us smile. I moved around to the other side to search and in doing so, I didn't notice I stepped on a meat ant nest and that certainly got them upset. It wasn't until I felt the searing pain on my leg that I realised I had been bitten by one of the little buggers!! I soon brushed him off to avoid a second attack. There was no way we could sign the log, it was way too wet so we added a dry sheet with our names on it. I quickly returned the cache to where I found it to again avoid the meat ants. This one will need a maintenance visit to replace the log and check the cache is in its correct position. Thanks lighsaberlodge.

Found during the finals stages of an assault on the Mid North Coast series with The Rats and Hoojar.
This was a bit of a slog to get to GZ but we were able to see the fruits for out efforts.
Thanks lightsaberlodge for the cache.

After a few aborted attempts in planning a weekend on the Mid North Coast the caching gods finally aligned allowing Farmer Frentzen, Hoojar and myself to get away for a caching weekend.
Our goal was the Mid North Coast Wander and any other surrounding caches. Day 2 of our adventure proved to be our biggest. This was one of 150 caches we found today.
Thanks

There were a few false starts, but finally the pieces had all fit, and a weekend was set in stone. Farmer Frentzen, The Rats and myself were heading to the Mid North Coast. Our goal: The Mid North Coast Wander (along with a few extra caches thrown in for good measure.)
Quite jungly in here. Took a bee-line to GZ and quickly found the cache. Avoided the basty looking ants' nest, and then back to the car.
Cheers

I had been led up another one of the local bumpy roads on the pushbike this morning
Was I going bananas ?
Nup !! I want a banana
A caching banana !!
From the bike finding a likely trail to GZ and parking was really easy [^]
A short stroll later and close to GZ I spun around a couple of times and spied something odd !!
There really are bananas out here [:o]

Bit of a bush bash to get to this one but managed without any ticks or leaches. Thanks lightsaberlodge
We were up here for pprass's camping event and after attending the flash mob this morning we joined forces with The Drovers to pick up some of the local cache and see some of the fantastic sights. We enjoyed the walk out to this one even though it was very slippery in places. Once near gz it didn't take too long to find the hide and add our names to the log.
We took nothing, left a favourite point.

After a group effort on finding 'Hope's Lost Whisky', I stopped by this one with Big Matt and Shell, and after a very short walk along the trail, the cache was in hand. Almost missed seeing the trail head pulling up or else I really may have been going bananas trying to get through the scrub.

Came to this great area to do the Camping on the Mid North @ Diamond Head event and the WWFM event.
We were able to complete our run of the Mid North Coast Wander series from 185 to 200, which we had left last Nov. due to roads closed caused by bush fires. Also managed a few other local caches in the area to top off a great weekend, in the company Pprass, Team Creackers, &others.
Thanks for the cache, lightsaberlodge.

Managed to find this one fairly quickly on our way back to the campground. The cache is fairly wet and could do with a new log.
