After some procrastination I've decided to archive this one. Over recent visits to check on cache integrity I've been concerned that this area has become a bit unsavoury - unlikely I would've thought but I, and others, have found evidence of drug and other sordid activity.
Looked for absolutely ages, made 2 PAF calls but still couldn't pick out the cache. Someone put me out of my misery!
Arrived at GZ and immediately spotted something cone-related (see picture) not surprisingly it was not the cache. Whomever had been using the bong had also left a litter, broken glass and other trash in the area, so future visitors will need to take a little care.
I guessed what the cache hide might look like, but it still took me some time to find, I was simply not looking in the right direction. As someone else mentioned in their log, it was only until I stood back and looked in a different direction that I was able to spot the well made hide. Thanks for the interesting cache.

Found cache whilst granddaughter played on nearby play equipment. Clever hide. TFTC
This one took a little longer, had to walk around a bit to get good loaction. Walked past it but then just stood back and looked around. Loved this one, really is one of my favourites. TFTC
Spent the afternoon caching with geodaughter This one took ages to locate My GPS had me all over the shop and the phone was even worse it was only after i expanded my search and then gave up that i saw it as i was walking back past easy to miss but obvious once its spotted nice hide TFTC
Christmas Day - the chance arose to find a few caches on Christmas Day with ICJAY a.k.a. Dad. This one was on a regularly route driven by both of us but neither had never actually stopped so we did today and found it. Great way to spend Christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year laurenda!
16/12/2012 23:32 Despite two new cache publications tonight I decided just to head down here for a cache on the TODO list instead. Spent a few minutes looking and soon had this cache in hand given that I have seen this style of hide a couple of time before. I was happy this was late at night and I was some distance from houses so felt quite content to have the torch shine about. Signed the little log and placed it back where found. TFTC laurenda TNLN SL
#197 another quick cache with our muggle relatives tagging along.
We jumped out of the car and walked the short distance to GZ. We started looking, and then one of the muggle relatives found it! A nice hide laurenda, thanks for the cache! We signed the log, and replaced the cache, and the area was pretty muggle free.
Today is our 28th consecutive cache-finding day, so we have nearly reached our goal of 30 days!!!
This was another cache on our Vic/Tas trip, so hello from Townsville QLD.

I was puzzled as to how the log could be wet, until I went to check on it ..... and found that a piece was missing. Anyway, replaced that so it's all good now - a bit of cache creep had crept in too so it's now back in it's original position.
My first premium find since becoming a premium member!.. Great cache, but log needs to be replaced.. a bit wet and soggy...TFTC!

Found on a walk with Gold Hoboman while Mrs Fluffy is visiting family in Melbourne.
As we approached the cache we noticed someone at GZ holding something and seemed to be looking around. Mrs Fluffy immediately asked if he was looking for something. He said "yes, I am actually" and we all started looking for the cache together.
After a few minutes of searching greenhammer found the cache and said "It was right there the whole time!".
We really liked this cache, thank you for the hunt and the find laurenda!

Great cache and also ran into some interstate cachers whilst looking for this one thanks
Trying to catch up finds from months ago, apologies for the belated log.
5th found in the company of Coley_Babee.
Caching today to attend the local event plus some other caches.
Bumping into The Swaggies at an earlier cache, we'd been warned of this one was tricky.
Lots of tree cover, many places to hide a cache, the possibility of innacurate co-ords...
Fortunatly we struck it lucky today.
Thanks laurenda for this cache.

We had been warned by The Swaggies that this one was a bit of a tricky one, and they had no luck with it already today.
We thought we would go have a look anyway, and of course began by looking in all the obvious spots also with no luck...
Where could this sneaky cache be?
After deciding to expand my search, I saw something that fitted in, but was in a way very oddly placed.
Bingo!!!
Very nicely done! I did very much like this hide, and am now banking it in my head for future!!

We had a go at this one earlier in the day and had no luck even though we had a good guess at what we should be looking for. However after the GMJMelbourne event we received enough info to suggest we should go back and have another look. This time around we approached from another direction and lo and behold there it was. We were so close before. TFTC laurenda.
1637 I've started to look forward to laurenda's hides. Not the normal and very clever - this one is no exception. I was looking to maybe not find this one - but surprised myself by spying it in short order - excellent TFTC laurenda
found @ 0:30 with dad (ross47)
We searched around, not getting anywhere.
I took a step back to have another think about where it could be.
I turned my head and there it was, staring me in the face.
Great cache.

After picking up some preliminary clues for a cache I'll look for next month, I checked the map for a decent concentration of caches... Bellbird Dell looks good.
Up the hill from the freeway reserve; a good workout.
The trees wreaked havoc on the GPSr's accuracy, meaning I looked in a couple of wrong locations before finding this clever container. Nice work.

Stopped to have late lunch, then looked for cache. Quick find, great camo thanks laurenda
Quick find this afternoon while in the area. I was looking closely at a magpie ... one never knows at this time of the year! TFTC, nice hide!
Found it! Today was the day I decided to find my 300th cache. My last day of holidays and this was my seventh cache of the day. After purchasing the necessary wedding items at the large shopping complex near-by and with Muggle Wen in tow, it was caching time!
Mmmm.... another park in Vermont. Mmmm....pine trees. GPS does not like pine trees! I don't like pine trees very much either. But I love this cache. Great camo, very creative. Love these sorts of caches. Thanks for the effort you have gone to! These sort of caches are what makes caching so much fun!! Found quite quickly too! TFTC SL Fav from me.

Found @ 5:55pm, find # 1609.
I was doing a bit of shopping at the shops nearby, so how could I leave without finding this cache.
I parked near GZ and walked down the hill, I could not believe how wet it was on the way to GZ, it was like a swamp, once there I was searching around for about 5 mins then I spotted it. Nice hide, have found a couple of others like this.

I was lucky enough to approach from the right angle and saw it pretty quick.
Thanks! This cache made me smile!

Got to GZ, standing there thinking, where oh where are you little cache, when I looked straight ahead and had the "there you are" moment.
Found on a night caching walk. Took a little time to find this sneaky hide. Nice camo. Forgot my pencil so logged not signed tonight. Will have to come back and sign another time. TFTC
First of a solo mini night run, as my mad mate did her own thing, this afternoon. GPS lead me to a space between a couple of pine trees. Hmm go left, go right???? Don't we always choose the wrong way first!! Once I looked in the right tree I found what I was looking for. TFTC!!
Left the kids on the playground which they loved, and went to grab this cache myself. Was expecting it to take a little longer, having had a bad experience with a similar cache not too far away earlier this year. No such problems here, quickly signed the log and returned it. Thanks for the cache and a nice park. The sun finally poked through here.
09-06-2012 6th find of the day at 13:15 and find #1421 in total.
Echo found it but it took Spice to open it.
('\(OoO)/') Thanks for the caching fun!

Geo-daughter loved the playground here, so it took us a while before we we made it to GZ. I had put this off for a while as prvious logs made me think I would be here for ages. Garmin was great for GZ and sneaky cache was in our hands before too long. TFTC
Found with Kmace on our second attempt. As dark fell I was about to quit. Then I spotted it. Much later I wouldnt have seen it. sneaky little hobbitses
Found this one with Irontoad today. We had previously looked and been unsuccessful at this one due to the lateness of the day and the fading light. Today we arrived with a little more time to spare and a bit of determination. I suspected I knew what we were looking for and it turned out to be right but it was Irontoad who spotted this devious cache. Signed log, took nothing and left nothing.
Thanks for another ingenious cache laurenda.

Another park I didn't notice, even though I've driven past before! Parked in Yalita Rd, in front of the house where man murdered both his parents last year. Beautiful day for a hunt. Great camo. TFTC Laurenda.
It was a lovely day today, so Crusty K9 and I went out to find a few caches. Another Laurenda gem. tftc.

It didn't take us long to find this thanks to the excellent co-ords. We put down our bag at GZ and there was the cache. Nicely done. Thanks for the hunt laurenda.
Ahhhh, I hate pine trees, especially when caches are involved.
Used my iPhone tonight and it zero'd in on the GZ fairly well although I didn't know that for about 20 minutes.
Nice camo and hide, enjoyed the ride, thanks laurenda.

14 of 21 for the day, and my 7th from laurenda, on a cycling run around Glen Waverly, Vermont South, Burwood East and Mt Waverly. I enjoyed all of laurenda's hides today, this one enough to give it a fav point. Dipped 6 TBs. TFTC.
Well, I am going to have to disagree with two incredibly experienced teamswho found this cache last that it was definitely not a terrain 2 for me, in fact it was a terrain 1! Yes, after a hunt I found it on the ground in an open space, and it was what I was expecting to find too. I have no idea where it was supposed to be (and could easily be a T2 if placed appropriately) I put it in a safer position off the ground. Thanks to laurenda for another great container, and bringing me to this good suburban park, and placing the cache away from the playground.
Recognized this spot from quite a while ago. Fortunately, this visit was a bit more successful. I have seen this type of hide beore, I should have found it last time.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Found at 4:26 PM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob and Robmc. A nice area to search in and just as well because we there for some time looking at all sorts of possibilities for a terrain of 1.5. David finally spotted something that looked like it would be a possibility and to our relief the cache was found.
Thanks laurenda
Feedback: Due to the location of the cache we think that a Terrain rating of 2.0 is more appropriate.

Found by Mary & David, with pprass and robmc, at 1625. This nicely-camouflaged container took a while to find. We looked around over a widening area before trying a different approach. Coordinates were pretty good in the end. Our thanks to laurenda.
Once we hit the trees, GPS was sending us everywhere. Was running out of light, so gave up after about 20 mins.
Having read the info, I looked in all the non obvious places, when I should have just looked more thoroughly where I thought it would be. Was thinking about giving it a favourite point, but then no way. The fact that I had spent 30 minutes looking inn bushes near a playgroun and back fences is just not my cup of tea, but the cache style I enjoyed enough for the thought to cross my mind. Also had problems with pokey sticks getting stuck in my dreads. TFTC
Again just run out of time today we only gave our self ten minutes at each cache to find them. Other day to seek this one out.
Today saw yet another quick caching session with LousieAnn to try and reach a milestone before the end of the year, yes left it a bit late. Today we decided to head out early and cache while it was still cool. Play would end when it got hot enough to buy a slurpee! (This was the most scientific method we could come up with) Thus, with a very quick and loose plan of where to go and what to look for, the “Somewhat early morning, purely numbers motivated, slurpee stopping, caching adventure” was born. This was find number 10 for the day. This one was a challenge. The GPS’s didn’t like being there and thus were giving us grief we hunted and hunted, we wished for a clue, we were about to leave, the day was getting very hot and the slurpees were calling. Then a sudden light bulb moment and we had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache, Laurenda.
Pathfinder24 is making an effort to get to one thousand caches by.... tomorrow. Thankfully he only has 30 or so to go. We decided to pick up a few this morning before it got too warm for us cold blooded caches. We sorted out a rough plan for the day, met at a nearby cache (another cache in this series in fact!) then transferred to one car. By the time we made it to this cache, the day was well and truly too warm for us and we had decided this would be out last cache for the day. We hunted high and we hunted low, we had a lot of trouble with the GPS’s. We read some logs, we lamented the lack of clue, we nearly decided to give up. Then Pathfinder24 had a brain wave and the cache was in had within seconds. Great hide laurenda, thanks for the cache!
Found on my back for the tip.
Being Laurenda cache I knew not to look in the usual hiding places.

One last cache on my way to the shops. The GPS took me to the right spot but I was looking for a more traditional type of container. After not finding anything in the obvious place I expanded my search but still no luck. I then did what I should have at the start and reread the description and realised what I was looking for. Found shortly after where the GPS was pointing at the start. Thanks laurenda. I like caches like these. Clever containers hiding in plain sight.
Took me a while to locate this clever hide, even though I suspected it was going to be cunning! Eventually, after discounting more traditional hiding places, I happened upon the cache and made my log TFTC
Found by SnapHappy @ 2045 Hrs whilst trying to add a few 'smilies' whilst visiting family in the Eastern Suburbs!
What a find this was as the sun was starting to set on a pleasant evening. Spent some time looking for this one! We broadened our search as the Mozzies buzzed and the blood flowed! As Moose & I were crying & babbling every excuse for us not being able to locate the Cache, we heard a 'Found It' from Tash. Great hide. Nice location amongst the hustle & bustle.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Signed Log...
Thanks laurenda for bringing me here!

We thought we knew where this would be, but reading the description properly and realizing we had a Laurenda cache on our hands we had to search a little longer. We looked and looked, then started looking away from where the GPS was pointing us in case the coordinates were out. Finally headed back to the general GZ vicinity and found the cleverly hidden cache. Thanks for the challenge and the cache.
TFTC, nice wee park took a little longer than normal to find but once we steeped back and scanned found it.
Been going to pick this one off for a while now and happened to be passing to day
Thanks Laurenda a neat little hide outside the square

Thanks laurenda.

left work early for an accountant appointment nearby and noticed that this one is back online. after two previous failed attempts when this cache first went online, this time i had it in hand in just a few minutes.
thanks to laurenda for keeping this one going and for making us think while searching.

Glad to see this one back on line and just had to stop by and have a look.
A glorious spring day - just right for a walk among the pines. To her delight Mrs. Rascal spotted it before I even had a clue. TFTC.
It was now getting dark at ~ 7:48pm so I felt we had little chance of finding a Laurenda cache as I had spent much time walking around looking for them! The boys were restless and they do increase the challenge sometimes! But I must have more of a sense of your style as in near darkness I looked in the right spot. Nice hide A fav for me. SL (but not well as quite dark). The boys loved it too!
I arrived at GZ and started to search but I could not find. Then I took another look at the cache page to find out who it is by. Oh no. This will be a tricky one. I kept on looking and with the name I was sure what to look for. After a little time I noticed something in the wrong place and that was here I found the cache. TFTC
Nice and Quick, seen this camo before so know what to look for; Found with Team Morno - Saulman1010, Biger12, Geobrat2000, Elly. TFTc
Nice easy find on a quick caching trip for Team Morno - Hazey1, Biger12, Geobrat2000, Elly and Saulman1010.
Yey grabbed this one at last. We visited this cache some time ago and lost a good hour turning the place over. Suspected this type of camo but this time almost went straight to it - YEY!

Ahhh the ????? gave it away.
On my initial search my GPS was bouncing around a fair bit..... it was totally useless using it. Then I had an idea.....YEP it paid off. In all I was in and out in under 4 min's

Found at 4.20pm - out and about on our own today as we build numbers to reach our 1000. This was very quickly found as the camo here would make it a younger cousin for one of our own caches. TFTC
Found with Crazy! Nat Girl on another of our Sunday morning caching trips, it was good to finally tick this one of the list. Thanks Laurenda for the cache.
was on a roll today. 7 out of 7 so far. this one had me stumped. i was there for a good 20mins. remembering how laurenda thinks ouside the square. i finally found it. loved it. my fav for the day. L you have my next fav point. ILOVEDIT. [:x] ( p.s watch out for all the used condoms. )
Apologies to those who have been waiting for this to be replaced. I've been away and then ill, anyway it's now enabled - I hope it doesn't go missing again.
another go at this, after speaking with the owner I am convinced it may be gone, but I could be just blind. Thanks Laurenda for the chat and help today.
After 2 DNFs and talking to Rebel Acts I had a look this morning and unfortunately the cache has gone. Lots of evidence of destruction in the area. Thanks for alerting me.
Left the office at 4:30pm but didn't get home until 6pm. My wife is curious how this 30 minute trip took 1hr 30m. The answer is because I took a 15 minute detour to attempt this cache.... again... I struggled to get a GPS mark and it was showing any of 5-6 places. I think I may have worked out where it isn't though... I need to return in good light to find this one.
This one had us beat, we ran out of light, even knowing what I was looking for did not help, we shall return in day light some time.
I've been hearing about the famous Laurenda. Nice to finally get one of the caches.
I'm BACK baby!
Finally returned for another attempt after three months, this time at 12:15am but with a torch! The camera flash on my phone is officially inadequate for night time caching. (But we all knew that already!!!!)
Nice clever hide. Found after only two minutes looking.
Do we need a new category of hide? I'd almost like to describe this as a "small nano"
Bravo, and a small nano round of applause.

We pulled up here and again were very happy to find the park deserted and headed off towards gz for an unhindered search. After a couple minutes of looking in all the obvious locations something not quite right caught our eye and we were soon signing the log.
Thanks again Laurenda for another good hide in a nice area

Give her the GPSr so she can have the thrill of the hunt, we get to GZ and I start to search in the usually spots "don't search over there i think to myself" I'm sure she is searching in the wrong pl....."FOUND IT" doh!!!
She found it, clever girl, clever hide. I'm never going to stop hearing about this one.
Great hide, as usual ;o)
