replaced container since i put my finger through the lid picking it up. It is now a regular container with a peanut butter container inside of that. Saved the log book. quick find but mogni wasn't going to drive to this cache, not on that track so i had to walk.
Found with Mogni. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. So we went out to complete the " THE Sad Fisher series " and stay in Moonta for the night. We got 150 finds for the weekend even though we started out at lunch time Saturday. Any damaged caches found where replaced with a new container and any logs found full or almost full were replaced or a extra scroll added. The weather couldn't make up it's mind, over 30 on Saturday and it rained almost all of the way home.

20-Apr-22
The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle solving group had us heading northwards once again in search of solved puzzles and anything else we might be passing. Today it was myself, S.A. Sewer Rats, Blackadders and Astro. [:o)] Meeting at the Rat's nest we headed today towards Kadina and around the top of Yorkes . Cool There were the usual laughs[^], bad jokesRazz, and some more DNF's to add to a list that should be shrinking and not increasing. [:(!]

I came from the other end of this little track. Surprised It was fun. Finding the cache was a bonus! Smile
Time to take my protein pill and put my helmet on! Wink

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. Twisted So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year. Cool

***Thanks Pixel_James for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

Today, the weather was forecast to be dismal with thunderstorms and a rain drenching! Consequently, gridge98 and I retreated to the more dry vicinity of Upper Yorke Peninsula. Other than a few drizzles, we had good weather. We visited Paskeville, Kadina, Moonta, Balgowan, Point Pearce, Maitland, and Arthurton, with highlights of the mining relics, 4WD-ing along the west coast beach, and finally dinner and heading around Maitland. A long day out and about, arriving home just after midnight.

Fun little tracks here. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks BrettnJames for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

19-Sep-20
This cache took a bit if circling around to find but once at the right tree the cache was found in good order

Today With the weather more promising on the yorke peninsula than in Adelaide, Davidwazza and I decided to head over and clean out as much as we could as well as doing quite a bit of beach 4wdriving.
In total 87 finds within 1 DNF for the day.
Thanks for the Cache

The usual Wednesday for the animals of the Puzzled Puzzlers. Plans were made for the Rat, Adder and Starfish to head to the top of the peninsular is search of a few previous DNF's and to fill the maps of Kadina and Moonta with smiling faces. An early morning call though from the Starfish letting us know that he was not well, left only the Rat and Adder to enjoy the day.

A quick find stealthily hidden away for a couple of locals from the aero club who were pruning a few trees, or maybe they were gathering some firewood, who knows.

11-Mar-17
Day Eleven of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are mooching around Moonta.
We checked out the piers for a possible snorkel (bit too windy and crowded today!), and did a few outlying caches.
Catchy tune, singing it all the time now. Although I do prefer astronaut Chris Hadfield's version done from the ISS.
No flyers out today.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11751. Day 11 of our SA holiday. We were taking things easier today. We had hoped for either some snorkelling or kayaking however it was so windy and being the long weekend it was so crowded at both jetties we decided to wait for another day. Drove around and collected a few caches.

We parked roadside and walked the short walk to GZ. Spied a stumpy who was alive but he was pretending to be dead. Soon found the container and added our names.

Thanks BrettnJames

On a caching assault of the Yorke Peninsular with alansee and Team Crackers over the last six days. We have found many caches which have proven enjoyable and sometimes challenging Alansee had worked diligently in planning routes we would take to minimize wasted kilometres driven to find the numbers we have been able to do. Most logs have been signed as MAC (micaparamedic, alansee and crackers)

Many thanks BrettnJames for placing this cache Cool.

Been saving this cache for my milestone 400th find as it is named in honor of one of my favourite singer musician and songwriters .. David Bowie and a gem of a track .. Space Oddity. Thanks for the cache ..BrettnJames . I think The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders of Mars is one of the best albums that came out in the 70s .

Today we started off by doing some of the outlying caches around Kadina. Some of the dirt roads were a bit challenging after the recent rains.
We managed to park rightnext to this cache.

As big David Bowie fans from w-a-y back (well I guess that means we're just David Bowie fans as he's not what you'd call "big" nowadays), this was a must do when it popped up on our screens. Took us a little sorting out on the access as we'd totally missed the model aero club sign so we came "floating in a tin can" via the "back door". Loved the "pointer" - although we almost mistook it for the cache container. D was hunting out his trustry pliers to wreak minor destruction before the "hold on, I've found it" call came.

Ground Control to Major Tom
Ground Control to Major Tom
Take your cache notes and put your seatbelt on

Ground Control to Major Tom
Commencing countdown, GPS is on
Check ignition and may Ground Zero be near to you

Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five,
Four, Three, Two, One, Liftoff

This is Ground Control to Major Tom
I've nearly made a find
And the cachers want to know what cache is there
Now it's time to leave your little log with flair

This is Major Tom to Ground Control
I'm heading to Ground Zero
And I'm walking in a most peculiar way
And the GPS screen looks very different today

For here
Am I looking for a multi cache
Deep behind the bushes
The shrubbery is green
And there's nothing to be seen

Though I'm past three thousand finds this year
I'm feeling like a newbie while I’m here
Though I think my GPS knows which way to go
My instinct tells me different and I know!

Ground Control to Major Tom
The cache is found, there's nothing wrong
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you....

Heading back from a great couple of days caching in Whyalla we were taking our time coming down so as to be able to attend the "YP Cachers Get Together #3" event tonight and also grab some caches in areas we do not normally travel. On previous caches the prolific sprimg growth has hampered our searching am
nd were happy to see it would not be a problem here. Unfortunatly for Major Tom we think we know why his circuits are dead and it may take some fixing. But at least the cache was still on earth and we were able to add our name to the log
Thanks again BrettnJames for a nice hide.
