##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).
If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.
I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.
If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Unable to locate the cache. Needs maintenance has not been attended to since January. Recommend archive at this point as this location would be great for another cache.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
I have just solved this puzzle but like the last couple of cachers I believe this area has been redeveloped and the cache has been removed. The new work looks great. It's a fantastic entrance for people going to the zoo by ferry.
Can someone confirm if the cache is indeed missing.
Thanks

Come passed doing the South Perth Lab Caches, I didn't find previously, so I tried again today - nothing.
I solved this a few years ago. But I think the area has been redeveloped since I then? Or maybe I didn't look hard enough?
The area has been developed and new infrastructure has been changed. I reckon the cache is gone.
Hi there duncdonut73, could you please check out this cache as it needs some attention.
Cheers.

So excited to go hunting for this as it was math and fun to solve. But GZ was overrun by workmen in the construction of what looks like a giant armadillo.
Managed to grab this one while out for lunch using the old tie the shoe laces up routine, only problem was I had sandals on. Anyway log signed and put back where I found it tftc
Find 3 of 10 on a pleasant, pre-basketball bike ride round the Swan inlet bounded by the Narrows and Causeway bridges. Two DNFs along the way.
Noticed after last week's ride that there were 5 puzzle icons in the middle of the water and made an effort to move them somewhere more accessible. All really good puzzles some of which we were still solving this morning before departing. This was a quick one once we got going. As a recovering mathematician I can appreciate the fiddling that went into making these numbers work from such limited raw materials.
TFTC duncdonut73!

Find #143 of 365 streak. I looked at this one months ago, swore at the sheer sight of it and then didn't look again. The other night I decided to actually try it. Surprisingly I had decent numbers quickly.
I arrived at midday and gave it a very brief go but too many muggles.
I tried last night at 1am and would you believe it, two car loads of muggles. Go to bed people!
Anyways dropped by again in the early hours and this time I had the place to myself. It helps being nocturnal. Surprisingly I had the cache in hand in under a minute. Luck I guess.

Sadly too many muggles at GZ to even warrant getting out of the car. Looks like another time
We headed into the city for the Brookfield Winter Lights display and dinner before moving our attention to the last bit of this puzzle.... claiming the smilie..... a beautiful night with the calmest of calmest waters with views to be admired for km’s. We approached ground zero and had a quick find, even in the darkness before stopping to enjoy the views. TFTC
After adding to the DNF list on my last visit, I was pleased it wasn't cache blindness, but not happy with missing the unloved days...
Back in WA for a couple of days, I made a beeline from the airport, only to find a muggle right at GZ. Not to worry, I simply explained to said muggle what I was up to and commenced my hunt. Seems the guy at GZ is there every Wednesday afternoon, where he and a group of other folk meet to walk around the river or through Kings park. Great I said as I advised him that he could make caching a spectator sport while he waits for the group to gather. Although I did advise the visitors to this one might be not so regular, given the puzzle behind it... [^]
He had heard of caching and suggested that a few of the walkers that join him had talked about it and potentially hunted a couple themselves. He appeared happier than I did when I pulled the container from its hiding spot.
I quickly signed the log, tucked the container back and continued chatting with my new acquaintance for a while.
Nice to have this one ticked off.
Cheers duncdonut73.

duncdonut73 I found your cache Pier Pressure thanks for placing this hide for myself and others to find.
A tough find at any time really. I briefly had a look for this cache after breakfast at Cocos this morning but couldn’t make the find.
I came back this evening with Cravo10 and after moving around the general area for quite a while we utilised the paf function of my iPhone and made a quick find!
Thanks for a nice puzzle, I worked out where the co ordinates roughly lead to back in 2012 when I tried to place a cache nearby. Six years went by and here we are tonight. Magic spot.

Catching up on a few logs, seemed to have missed logging this cache. I came by with Lazarus for a second look after the cache was replaced. Lazarus made a quick find. Even though there was a lot of people around and passing through no one really paid us any attention. Many thanks duncdonut73 for the cache.
After our dnf here we contacted the CO offering to replace the cache which he accepted. We had plans to meet up for a cuppa with PP2 before they head off over east and being that they had also logged a dnf here it seemed logical to meet in South Perth.
A tricky puzzle that took some research and mathematics to solve.

A very challenging puzzle which I thoroughly enjoyed, one I had solved it Did not enjoy the first couple of searches that resulted in DNFs But was reassured by the recent flurry of interest that we were not as daft as we thought. Met up with fratra as they had permission from duncdonut73 to replace it. JOB DONE. Favourite for a puzzle with a difference. TFTC
I was hoping to pick up some "unloved days" with this one and chose to ignore the string of DNFs. Sadly, I only added to the list and after a good hunt around, I came up empty handed.
This one really needs an owner check.

Out riding the bike around the river with Lazarus_68. We had a good look for the cache and eventually moved on, later we got a message from a previous finder so after completing the loop around we had a second look but came up empty handed.
Stopped by here during bike ride, on a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon (like the Beatles song).
Unfortunately could not locate, despite last-minute hint from a previous finder.
Hopefully CO or past finder can pass by and check?

No luck here after a fairly extensive search. We caught up with a previous finder at an event later in the evening and they confirmed we were searching the correct area.
When this cache was published it was way over my head, but sometime later (a long while ago) I surprising must have been in the right mindset & soon came up with the co-ords... After attending the Pirate Event at Applecross, the kids & I were in the area finding a few treasures & this was one I was determined to find despite the muggles that were present
We took a few minutes to suss out the likely spots that a cache could be hidden & it was DangerMouse09 who swooped into find this one unnoticed... Probably because everyone was watching Master 6 who was standing up on the back of one of the seats looking in another likely spot
TFTC and the puzzle that got my brain matter ticking. Nice one & a nice spot too duncdonut73

after coming up here last weekend and it was muggle central so I couldn't have a look for the cache I came back up here again with the geodaughter Redlipsandunicorns very early for another look. There was still lots of muggles about but you don't feel quite as stupid looking when you have someone with you. The GPS jumped around a bit but it didn't take long to find the cache. Great location TFTC duncdonut73
Thanks to my step dad ooh yeh for solving this puzzle. Headed out bright and early with my mom ooh yeh to pick up this cache as the area is rampant with muggles. Bit of a search high and low but made the find in the end. Happy Easter and tftc
I have been trying to get out and find all the puzzle caches that the hubby has solved and today being Sunday I thought I would head to South Perth and pick up 3 that I knew would be hard to get any other day. I left at 6,30am and had a great run into perth with not many cars on the freeway after that everything went down hill as I didn't realize in south perth everyone seems to get up early and go walking, jogging or riding there bike. I'm not logging a DNF here I'm loging a could not look due to so many muggles about. I will come back another day TFTH duncdonut73
We had a go to find this one every time we visited the Zoo but we always ended up leaving without a find.
This morning we had another go and this time some fitness muggles forced us to start looking in a slightly different spot and to our surprise there it was, so happy to finally tick this one of the list.
thank for the Puzzle duncdonut73

Stopped by here to try and grab a smiley on our way to a show at the casino. So many muggles, combined with a gps that was indicating a good 8m from where we eventually found the little blighter (have to confess that I had to phone a friend for guidance, but other people's logs now make sense). Happy to finally put this one to bed. Enjoyed the puzzle too. Thanks for the adventure duncdonut73
So glad to finally log a find here! After actually solving the puzzle 2.5 years ago and then having many failed attempts to locate the cache. I finally got a clue from a previous finder that led me to search a part of the structure I hadn't tried before.

What a bamboozling looking puzzle this started as. With some tricky maths we managed to get a green tick and keep it on the shelf for a future trip across to Perth.
We arrived near GZ today and luck seemed to be with us when we scored a parking spot very nearby. But then I checked the cache page and saw no finds for over a year. To make matters worse, a couple were sitting right at GZ and didn't look like moving soon.
After a few minutes, the Garmin started to favour a different area where we were free to check unhindered and despite expecting failure, the fingers found what the eyes couldn't see and we woke this tiny cache that had been sleeping for so long. A real thrill.
Unrolling the log, we discovered the last find was actually Kyzabra's in October 2014, so 18 months to add to our unloved tally.
Thanks duncdonut73.

I've checked here a number times over the past 6 months and the cache appears to be missing. Could the cache owner please check up on it.
We solved this cache quite a while ago. However, I have now searched 3 times and I'm unable to locate it.
Did this when I was there on business, it was fun to check it out. Thanks for it!
On my way to work today, I decided to drive past in the hope of less muggle action compared to my previous visits.
GZ always seems a hive of activity but today was my lucky day. No one around making for a quick grab.
I really enjoyed this puzzle. Just hope the landmark clues remain unchanged with all the works going on.
A fav point from me.
Thanks duncdonut73 for your cache Pier Pressure. We found it on 2014-10-23 at 5:52 am. This was my find number 2108

When this was first published my first thought was 'WOW', followed by 'no way' and put it away for 'ron.
Had a few looks every so often and finally got determined to have a proper go at this a couple of weeks before I knew I was heading up to Perth.
Asked for a nudge to get me going from the CO and then bounced some ideas for this and another at him before finding I had some more research to do before things fell in to place.
I wasn't yet out of the woods and what actually appeared to be an 'easier' part of the equation, gave me some grief. The error of my way was pointed out and was glad to be able to have another DD73 solution to hand. No to go get it.
Had teed up with SpatialRiq to meet up in the city, actually, to meet up at GZ to first bowl this over before getting a few more around the river.
Had initial difficulties in getting it but eventually made the find.
Thanks for this, as usual, top shelf puzzle.

Hurrah, second time luck. Plus I had McFonz with me this time, and he made the find in a corner of the structure I'd not looked at.

Solved this a few years back. Have been here a couple of times since then but its always been too busy to search. Nice and quiet tonight but alas after 15min of searching I found nothing Third dnf tonight.
YAY! Had to wait for dark because every time I came by there were so many people but success tonight. TFTC and great work on the puzzle
Ages ago tried to tackle this one. Had a bit of an issue solving it with wrong numbers interfering with getting the checker to agree with me, but finally got the thumbs up. It was then sitting in the solved box waiting for me to get into the right neck of the woods, so was most happy to get a smiley for it today.
There were a few folks sitting about here, but was able to extract it, sign and replace it without anybody being any the wiser.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache duncdonut73.

I tried working out the puzzle about 6 months ago and struggled with getting a solution that I could use. I completely forgot about it until the other day. The puzzle is a little trickier with the elizabeth quay works underway. Easy find once the solution presented itself. Found a gap in the natural rhythmic ebb and flow of muggle traffic, so all good. Solved already in Germany, but was obviously a bit too stupid to calculate correctly. Had all the numbers correct, but made a calculation error.
Found during a nice walk along the river.
Thanks Dunc for the puzzle and the cache.

So after my disastrous attempt on this cache on 9th February I was finally back in the area on a caching run. But true to my word I was in the Geo Cruiser with the Geo Bike on the back.
I parked in a side street (free parking) about 1.5km away and picked up three caches by bike. This was the first and I had the cache in hand after grabbing it in the first place I checked.
Putting it back wasn't so easy though I had to wait at least 10mins for muggles to move on before I could put it back!
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Dunc.

Last cache for the day. Find the nano at evening - not many muggles... Signed the log. Thanks duncdonut73.
We took the opportunity of a late night coffee and icecream to have a look in the cover of darkness. Luckily no muggles around anyway and we found it in a few mins.
Knowing where Mickeydv lost his GPS narrowed my search area considerably. I often meet a friend nearby and your GZ is my meeting point. Still frustrated that I can't solve the puzzle, but glad to have been able to log the find. Thanks for the cache duncdonut73.
We were nursed al the way to the end on this one. A quick find under the cover of darkness though. TFTP(i think)&H
After a big day caching in Kalamunda, we headed to Mends Street with iluvtrekking intending on grabbing a meal. Noticed that this cache had been replaced and were very surprised not only to get a car park nearby but also to see gz deserted. After a very quick find we were off to enjoy a well deserved glass of wine and a curry.
A very big THANK YOU to The Machman for helping out with a replacement cache today!! Back online.
No problems dunc, it's my closest unfound Cache to my work, so was really no trouble at all.

Wonder if its possible for the CO to check that this cache is still in place. Would like to try again but reluctant seeing the last find was four months ago.
Made a search early this morning and again at 6.30 pm to no avail. contacted a previous finder and confirmed we were searching in the right place but the cache was not where he recalled it being.
Was with FELIX on the occasion of her recent log.
We started to look in the obvious spots, but our search was very much curtailed by the ticket inspector !!!!!

Oh the pain! Out on a caching run today and buoyed by the success of finally locating the cache at Kings Park that I had looked for 3 times previously with no success, slipped out of town to have a look for this cache.
I got lots and lots of help with this puzzle, it was way over my head.
Anyway at GZ and only 1 person nearby so commenced searching. Deciding to keep moving around in circles till hopefully we would locate the cache.
Alas onto the 2nd corner when I saw a parking inspector at my car! Damn can you believe it here only 5mins and got a ticket. Put a load of pressure on for the rest of the day! Bummer. A million dollar ticket to the Councils Xmas party and no cache.
One day we will return. On our bikes though I bet next time! Cheers.

Not being maths minded(something to do with right brain, left brain),,,I had absolutely no idea how to tackle this brain twister.
Have stared at it many times hoping for a flash of inspiration, but alas no joy.
Luckily a couple of friends came to the rescue to put me out of my misery.
Searched and searched in between numerous muggles and had finally convinced myself that it had been muggled, when I spotted the little sucker.
Even though I can take no credit for solving puzzle I happily cross this off my closest to home list....cheers Dunc

Solved by ranga who does 3AB maths then we caught the ferry across and after a few minutes of his fruitless searching up high up with a streak of luck i placed my hand right on it.

Another 2 DNFs for us, condensed into a single log
One was at sunrise - the river looked spectacular - not a good time of day as the hoardes of bike riders were using GZ as a meeting point. We had a bit of a search but couldn't find it.
Then during the day when we were using the "phone a friend' option on another cache we asked for a hint to allow us to make a quick retrieval. Funny it didn't even occur to us that it may be missing we just assumed that we are short sighted .
On our way home, just after sunset, we were back at GZ to have another look. Much easier to search as the evening light faded, but alas we still couldn't find it. . CO will check this week to see if we need stronger glasses Thanks for the hunts.

Overnight changes were made to the website so I've made some changes to the cache description so your eyes can hopefully cope with my choice of background image. Let me know if you need a hint...
Just my sort of puzzle! And it only required a little bit of research and lateral thinking, and I was on my way. I had to run a couple of the calculations through twice, coming up with different answers, but hey, it was 10:30pm when I was working it out...
This afternoon after work I decided to amble past on the bike and scope out GZ and the muggle activity. To my surprise it was relatively quiet, so I took a seat, had a few quick looks around in between muggles, and spotted the cache! A quick retrieval, log signed, and then the same dance to return the cache, and I was back on the bike on my way home.
Thanks for a great puzzle and cache dunc, this gets a Favourites point!

This cache can definitely be a difficult one to search for if you turn up at the wrong time. After yesterday's unsuccessful attempt, I woke up before dawn this morning and drove out to the GZ. There were only a few joggers around as the sun rose, and it was much easier to locate. 2TF at 6:10am. Very smart puzzle! Thanks Dunc.
Arrived at the GZ only to have a wedding party take up residence there. Waited for about an hour and a half, but decided that searching for the cache would arouse too much suspicion.
*FTF* 11:59pm Nice to get a puzzle I can sort out straight away. I took a bit longer than the intitial solvers as I didn't remember some bits initially and them copied some of it down wrong as well. Meant it took a few gos for the checker to tell me I got it right. As the better half was staying with her twin tonight I decided to do it as soon as I had solved it. Place was virtually deserted when I arrived and it didn't take much to find the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
