We located a nice deep hole that we assumed would contain the cache, but all four in our group were too scared to reach into it, so we never found out :/
Called by this afternoon for a quick find. Nice and windy today but no kite surfers. Looks like a great spot to watch them from.

No kitesurfers around when I arrived.
Found the cache easily and I removed a Playing card which was not child friendly. I hope it was not a cacher who put it there.
TFTC We enjoyed the views.

Found at 5.30pm, still some light and this is really a lovely place to hide.
The camo had moved some, so care should be taken when replacing and hiding the cache. No muggles were seen around at this time, so was a perfect retrieval.

This is indeed a great spot to watch all sorts of activities along the Broadwater on this beautiful Gold Coast waterway. Kitesurfing is just one of them. Thanks for a great cache svbluedawn.

Nice quick find at another beautiful spot. Watched a paraglider as I retrieved the cache. Thanks.
Can see why the wind surfers like the place. I received quite a sand-blasting while signing the log. No chance of photos as the speedy, wet ones were all playing north today. TFTC.
Found while holidaying from SA. Dropped the tribe at Harbour Town. Visited a few important shops then ducked off for some quick caching. Great location. TFTC

This is one of the many great places along the GC which most visitors
never see except if they are geocachers.
Met some locals with their fishing gear, had a nice chat with them.
Found cache easily and signed log.

Leaving Oz in the morning, and looking for a final cache before we go was a mission as we got 2 DNF this afternoon. GPS was playing up a bit and pointing at 4 different hint items until finally settling on one that made sense to me. And there was the cache. Just managed to squeeze in the TB I wanted to leave here. TFTC from NZ
Super place to stop and look at the sea ,had to wait for a couple of people to go
Last time I was here some fisher muggle had placed their esky right on top of GZ then settled for the arvo. Finally today it was free to find and I swooped in quickly TFTC
Ms Wig was very keen to get this one, since last time someone was sitting right next to it, so no chance for a search... and it's been bugging her ever since... arriving near GZ, she pounced on the spot she thought, and Wala!! a cache!!
Thanks svbluedawn, this is certainly a great spot!!

Found after a short search today. No kite surfers today. Thanks svbluedawn. Nice job on the container and log book.
A final find for me for the day. There were only a few muggles about - but none were bothering us as searched. Loki came up with the cache and it was in good condition. Not too many kitesurfers out today. I also loved the effort that has been put into the notebook and the container. TFTC svbluedawn
Found it....
As I approached GZ realised there was a muggle adjacent to location trying to land a fish or two.....
She queried what i was carrying (GPS) and what it was used for out of a car.....
Provided a quick outline of caching and then retrieved cache as muggle continued fishing - maybe a convert here...

Ben's Shark TB finally has found a place with a water view. He has been landlocked for a long time - very sorry Ben but we have not been caching for a very long time. Don't know if the Gold Coast locals will appreciate having a shark deposited by the water!
I headed up to Runaway Bay after work to track this new cache down.
I would really recommend checking out the area at dusk as it is really nice and serene at this time of day. I will post a picture of the inlet at this time of day.
Thanks for the cache svbluedawn. It is great to see some new cache hiders on the Goldy.
While signing the log one of those pesky cache stalking ninjas hopped on in.

What a place to visit on a Sunday morning, was so peaceful with very few muggles round. Were we early enough for a FTF?? Found gz and spotted the cache... yes a FTF Logged at 10.45am. Spent some time watching the water craft come and go before heading down the road to an AL cache. Grabbed the TB.
Thanks svbluedawn.
Thanks svbluedawn.
Knew we'd be far too late at 4.30 pm for the FTF on this one today, but we enjoyed the excuse to come to this lovely spot as the evening sun started to dip towards the hills. TFTC. Keep em coming.
Thought I'd logged this from my iPhone but maybe not. I missed the FTF by a margin of minutes. Those Pesky Pac Pines Trekerz beat me to it. A glorious little spot on this beautiful morning. I had to look like a biologist or lepidopterist or something so I could scout around in front of some happily settled fisher people. Disappointed not to get FTF but I left a trackable Mermaid who wants to see the oceans of the world. Then I watched the kitesurfers flip and fly above the water. I only learned on Friday what it is that kitesurfers do, so was able to appreciate the skill it takes. They have a world convention here on Gold Coast each December. I had visited this park several times thinking to place a cache here. So glad someone has decided to do it. Love the little private beach - clean sand, just lovely.
