In the area to take my father to visit past memories at Bonegilla. While in the are picked up a couple of GCs.

I'm on a last-minute 4-day long weekend down to Albury from Canberra. I was last here back in November on the way to/from the South Coast mega-event. Lots of unfinished business here, although I fully expect to return this coming November. It was hot today again, the news said 34C, but it was bearable.
Today was my 'big' day and the real reason I'm down here. Finding caches by kayak. I noticed there were a few down this way & when I was casting about for destinations, this is what did it for me. I've never been on the Murray either. A small tributary, the Murrumbidgee flows past my home in Canberra. but this is the real thing. I noted the new "Mighty Murray" series is being neglected & thought I could help.
Another well hidden cache.

Suscoe was out caching in the late afternoon in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We enjoyed this little group of caches names after these talented folks.
The locations were pleasant on a hot afternoon.
Thanks to DazRascal for placing this cache.

After setting up camp at Lake Hume, in the good company of fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe, it was time to dip our toes in the water and seek out some nearby caches. This little clutch caught our attention and we soon understood the significance of the location!
We had already visited this cache on 04/07/2012 for our find. Think it was in a different container and location then. A local resident was also looking for a cace - see image.
Satellites today had our GZ 7m NW of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to DazRascal for bringing us to this location.

I managed to put my hand on it at first touch, it doesn't get better than that when muggles are around! TFTC
Look at that! Found it first go! But my pen ran out so had to go back to the car and get another. Got watched by a few fishermen and had to pretend I was walking up the drive!
Being very new to geocaching this was found on our second attempt.. doh.. so easy when looked from a different angle
TFTC! We almost had an issue with our geodog going down the wombat hole...we saved her though :/
Thanks for bringing us to this lovely part of the lake, wouldn't have come but for geocaching
No problems at this location except for ants. Had to make a quick grab and move away a little to sign the log to dodge the little insects. TFTC
Thought we might of found a snake where this one was hidden but it was an easy find!
Find #1366
Spending a few days in Albury with the family. Hadn't done a help of caching but decided to tackle this series when on a sightseeing trip up to see the big lake and impressive dam wall. Parked on the other side of the dam gates so had a longish walk around with Geobaby in the stroller to get to the path. Spotted a likely hiding location as we walked towards this one and sure enough the cache was in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited a few trackables. Thanks for the cache and for this series DazRascal.

How many people does it take to find this one???? 10!!!! And we went back after lunch!!! Dah!!!
After moving to the area a few months ago the kids and I decided to escape the house to allow my wife to complete some studies.
Thought we'd explore the area and get to know our new home and the lands around it.
This last little cache was mine to find after todays efforts and the kids taking point - mind you, I made them retrieve it so it really doesn't count as mine! TFTC.

At the turn off to the reserve we heard some loud car noises and then saw some plumes of smoke as the local hoons kept the local tyre and petrol station in business by doing burn outs. Jackie was first and we had the right idea but missed the tell tale on the first sweep. Next was Tito which we spotted the likely feature and then made a quick find. Jermaine was an easy find but make sure you don't fall down the large rabbit hole. It was then down to the shore line for Marlon. The private property sign suggested and area we did not need to search and given the lake was so low there was no chance of wet feet. It took a little as being D2 we were not expecting the camo we found in the end. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC. We still had time for one more so headed over to Michael. As we got to within about 15m of GZ we realised a couple rolling around under a blanket was between us and GZ so we turned and left. They seemed so focus they did not even notice us but we did not want to search near there feet for the cache.

My grandad and I found this cache while on our Albury/Wodonga small caching trip. The dirt road was blocked by a season closure gate, so we walked a short distance to GZ. I found the well-hidden cache fairly quickly - the log was wet though. Might need some maintenance. Thanks DazRascal!
Second one of the day with @spokesy03... Took a bit longer than the previous but wasnt too bad! TFTC
Found it after much frustration! I had to step back and look at the big picture - that's when I figured it out! It was in the first spot I looked, I hadn't looked hard enough! Great hide, spidey was guarding the cache!
Forgot to mention, cache was very wet - may need replacing of log soon. Might take another look next time I'm in the area.
Picked up with GrimRaider on our last morning in Albury. It is actually trying to rain and by the look of the fields and the lake, this place really needs it. It makes the paddocks around Canberra look green! We have really enjoyed our time this weekend and this little series is a great way to finish before we hit the road. Thanks again
Found with Snickersallan, Fit02 and buddy, nice quick find for Easter Sunday 2015
A park & grab here. Love where caching takes you - would never have ventured out this road otherwise ! SL TFTC DazRascal
My stroll around the point continued and I soon found a sign that there may be a cache nearby
Yes !!
Still one more in the series to find this morning (if you ignore the DNF I scored earlier)
Don't stop till you get enough !!

Up from Melbourne visiting friends and we are out for a day on the weir skiing but a cache or two would be nice also. I managed to get dropped off a Jackson's Point and will walk back to out day spot via a couple.
A quick grab as I strolled past.
Thanks for the cache DazRascal

Had not been out to this part of the weir, amazing places caching takes us. Enjoyed the scenery and search's of this small series. TFTS
Found with Kiki37 and Kudjro. Another easy cache to find, though Kudjro did go digging through an animal burrow at GZ first! TFTC DazRascal!
Another quick find. Muggle free today due to the area being closed seasonally. Parked the cars at the gate & found the rest of the series on foot. Was a bit strange wandering around the empty reserve as we've been here in summer when it's packed! Soo glad TheClazzas invited us along to grab these ones out of season . SL tftc

Thanks for this series. Log is damp from recent rain. Had four bouncing muggles nearby .
We came to Wodonga for a week to visit GeoDaughter Emnjared and to celebrate our grandson's 21st birthday. After tackling a couple of local puzzle caches we decided to have a go at the Jackson 5.
Jermaine was our third brother and was also a quick and easy find.

Exactly where I searched, excellent. TFTC ....that's 3 out of 3, on a roll to full set of the Jackson 5 ..... from my era.
[:(!] Had nothing better to do and what better way of filling in an afternoon than to do a bit of caching and this was one them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.
