Time to end this one's career. Doesn't really fit in with the Series and it is a dreadful place to park so it is being replaced with a new cache #13a, elsewhere.

08-Aug-15
Found it, really easy. On our way to stay at mount beauty and going skiing tomorrow. So it was a bit dark. Good cache, I like ones with toys! TFTC

04-Jul-15
A day out geo caching today. This was a quick find. Retrieved a TB and will take it to Queensland tomorrow. TFTC

03-Jul-15
Found it with ease but chose to park not as a drive by, but rather a walk to after three vehicles came up the road in quick succession! TFTC, and I liked the pun on the name. Container seemed a bit full and would not fully close, maybe a check on this.

07-Jun-15
Stumpy on Ward sounded like they were gardening just over from GZ, so we grabbed this one quickly and quietly and moved on. Thanks for the hide.

TFTC What a great day for a few caches. Left T/B behind.

01-Apr-15
Today was my last day in Porepunkah. With the gear packed up on the back of the ute I was off, grabbing some caches on the way home.

It has been a bit of a trip down memory lane for me, something I should have done years ago.

Picking up these Gourmet caches is kind of making me hungry. Perhaps a stop off is required, after all it is almost lunchtime.

This one was found very quickly and it needed to be, as I had to avoid an oncoming postman. Lucky he had stopped off for a chat.

I had nobody to chat to so I flew through the finding and log signing process.

I tried to be a bit quiet as I got to GZ because there were people further down. As I opened the cache there was BIG squeak from a very cute toy inside that a geokid would love. I didn't attract any attention but went to my car to close the lid. SQUEAK. It was a delight. I put the log in a new zip lock bag. TFTC

Another find where not a car went past the whole time I was there. Always happy with that.

Cache found with issue and all was good.

Thanks for another one.

One of 102 caches found today during a big three day cache run, up to and around Kelly country which included Benalla, Tolmie, Beechworth and Glenrowan. A great three days spent exploring and discovering with a fantastic group of fellow cachers, which we collectively called ourselves 'The Kelly Gang'.

Today being Friday, I spent the day caching on my own as I made my way around the conutryside before meeting up with the rest of the gang at our camping spot for the night at Stringy Bark Creek. I had a nice early start, hitting the road before dawn and the sun rose as I made my way through the Great Dividing Range. A perfect day for caching which included some time biking it around Benalla, before heading for Beechworth to find some 'Challenge' caches and some of the HSS series caches, then back south to Stringy Bark Creek for a fantastic camp fire dinner with some great company.

At GZ my GPS didn't quite settle but after a few minutes of searching I found the cache. Thanks.

20-Jul-14
A nice easy one, found, signed and returned while Muggle Hubby drove down the hill and turned the car around

Suscoe's 21st find of 42 caches for today on a terrific day out and about in the Wangaratta area.
After a few days of wet weather, today was pretty dry and quite pleasant even though it was cold.
We saw a broad range of caches and enjoyed the trip through the countryside and the towns.
Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for this cache, we saw the local Guinea Fowl and Turkey just down the way today, they were looking very well looked after!!! Here comes Christmas!!!!!!! But don't tell the Turkey!

27-Mar-14
Spent an afternoon travelling amongst the farmland, finding numerous caches.

21-Mar-14
I joined in for a trip down South to find some caches in the area with J+J.au and Wilbert67. We had a lot of fun sightseeing, bike riding and most thankful for the quality of the caches in the area. Some showed us interesting historic locations while others presented us with a tricky hide all adding to the adventure we all enjoyed. A trip to remember with the trails most recommended. SL..TFTC

Dusty road had turned muddy with the rain, on the narrow winding roads not travelled before it quaint here. at GZ we soon had what we came for .TFTC

I have to agree with Freddo !!
"Looks like deliverance country today." [:o]

I could hear the banjos playing Fernando !!
I remember long ago another scary cache like this.
In the backwoods Fernando !!
I was humming to meself and softly poking the scenery [:o]
I could hear the distant banjos.
And sounds of Rottweiler barks were coming from afar !! [:o]

Found on a caching run with Monchs Mob #18.
We cheekily parked in the road thinking that not many people would come down this road, we got the cache and returned it and got back in the car as several cars appeared out of nowhere all at once! It was the busiest of any road we'd seen today! We followed one car slowly for a while and there was a wedding going on just north of here.

From the time we became aware of the "Gourmet Run", it has been on our agenda because of the high esteem with which geocachers held, and continue to hold, purpledreamer. We had found a number of her caches during a previous visit to Wangaratta and wanted to add some more to our list of finds.

This was the only situation today where caching instinct took over from our GPS. We located the cache on the opposite side of the road to where our GPS was pointing. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. TFTC purpledreamer and BettyBoo3747 for mainting the "Gourmet Run".

6648 + 823 = 7471. Found during a great weekend caching in Northern Victoria.

Second day of my caching run around this area. The twelfth cache found in this series. Not quite doing them in order plus I missed a few as well - hope I can still get to the Mystery ! Nice quick find in a quiet area - the local wondered why I stopped but he soon went back to work when I poured myself a cuppa. Now off to the next one !

Thanks again BettyBoo3747 !

TNLN - TFTC !!

Cheers....

After a very disappointing day yesterday round Lake Sambell, today we set a personal best for most Finds in a day! These downs and ups are one of the reasons we keep playing this game. We found 11 and this was the second. Shame we are not around long enough to do the whole Gourmet Run series. TFTC TNLNSL

One of many caches throughout of Easter Long Weekend trip up the Kiewa Valley and the Victorian High Country.

All Were Great Caches, Thanks to all for giving us a reason to travel and taking us to some unique places up in the amazing Victorian high country.

I would recomend to anyone and everyone to travel and let the caches guide you thoughout the mountains.

At time of Caching I Was Know As "adrian.robinson" / "ar", Due To Facebook Automatic Naming and now known as "VicMap", Much shorter and easier to write.

Found with S.Piddy, roverman88, ashleigh.green, Jesstu666 and team purple pen.

Staying at Oxley to do some caching in the area.
The Gourmet Run is one of the series we completed today.

I was heading home from a few days in Bright, and chose to do a number of caches along the way, in the general area. The Gourmet series featured predominantly. This was my second such cache for the day and was a nice quick drive by. Thanks for the cache.

We were constantly watched by a small heard of cattle who walked along the fenceline with us as we approached the cache location. Refusing to give us any hints, they just continued to stare at us over the fence, leaving us to find the container by ourselves which was in the first place we looked!

This was the 21st of 22 finds for the day and sorry to say that Mrs. Lost Wanderer (the log writer) has no recollection of any details about the hide other than we signed the log and were on our way.

Oh, and it was find 998 for us too. Thanks for the cache.

Edited to add- Thinking about it later, Mrs. Lost Wanderer remembered the handbrake start on the hill she had to do after the cache was found. Sorry, pregnancy brain.

Find # 1610

Today was day three of a massive adventure weekend caching in the Albury Wadonga region as well as incorporating the OZ Mega event. I would be spending most of my time with Team Kwokka (Brother and Sister in Law) as well as my caching mate and partner in crime, SedgwickDave

Today we were aiming to complete two power trails, having completed Spirit of Salts, now starting our second series The Gourmet Run.

Getting close to the final now, but it is also getting dark!!.

Thanks to purpledreamer for the cache.

Found @1745 #1395
While attending the OzMega with ahomburg & Kwokka this was one of many caches found over the long weekend with 101 in total found. Today was the biggest single day with 42 found.

This series look great with various different hides in the series seen with variety in each.
The likely hide was not notice on arrival but cache was finally found in the 3rd place we looked. Now it was really starting to get dark.

TFTC purpledreamer and for the effort and time is creating this fun series.

Almost, but not quiet a drive-by. Our approach to this site passed a lot of water - one thing this gourmet area seems to have plenty of.

After having arrived in this region earlier in the day with Phetlern and having camped at the Oxley Reserve with our caravans it was now time to do some caching. This was one we targetted and were able to find. This such a pretty area and we will return to spend more time sampling the produce and seeing more of the historic locations. Thanks purpledreamer for a most enjoyable series and for the clever hides.
