Logs
Called past to replace wet log. Couldn't find cache - going to start archiving these as they fall over.
Found on the ground, log is wet,put back where I thought it should be. Now onto the next one for the day.TFTC
Travelled from Geelong to Milawa for a quick Easter break. Went to Yackandandah and Beechworth Saturday for a look around and went to the Beechworth easter festival. Out for a morning walks watching the hot air balloons over the vines. Today we are exploring the Woolshed falls and then over to Lake Hume. This was a nice quick find. Now off to enjoy another beautiful day. TFTC
Found it. Cache was just sitting on the ground in the open, trackside. I signed it and put it back in the tree, but probably not in the right spot.
Our final day in Wangaratta after attending the recent Mega.
We had intended to hit the trails by bike but although the day was cooler, it was still quite muggy and we haven't ridden much lately. Another time!
So we headed out in the car and worked on a variety of caches. Some from the rail trail and others in surrounding areas. Again we came across a variety of caches.
Our thanks to Geocaching Victoria for organizing the Mega and to local cachers that have given us so many to look for. We've got plenty more to do, so we'll be back!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache BettyBoo3747.

At the Wangaratta mega with my sister Nakarra_L, it was very hot humid caching, and we were glad to keep getting back into the air-conditioned car. We camped at Pioneer bridges last night, because it was next to the river.
Nakarra_L spotted it.
Nakarra_L spotted it.
Called past to check cache. Removed wet and full log and replacement log now in place.
Thought that this may be difficult, but found it on the ground. Relicated it at the hint height. Log was very damo, otherwise a fun cache.
Found this one after trying to get hone but the road to home was closed. Bummer. Go another way and more caches. Nice one Bettyboo. TFTC.
Stopped at this cache on the long way back home, after a fabulous couple of days in Beechworth and surrounds. Took a little while to spot this cache, and nearly gave up, but then spotted it at the last minute. All good here. Thank you for keeping this purpledreamer cache going BettyBoo3747.
Called past to check this one today, to see what the hide actually is here. Will amend the wording on the cache page as it is no longer a Sistema.
Not another one of these I thought as I approached the tree but a lucky turn of the head and there it was. Great hide TFTC
We thought this would take forever, I just came in on the right angle and bingo! TFTC
Wowza! What a tree, so many places to hide a cache! After a short search the cache was spotted from the right angle. TFTC

On a mission towards reaching my 1000th cache in my first 12 months of caching. Team OZCAT on a mission
A day out with Happy pants, picking up some out on the back roads around the Milawa area. Some great finds and different containers found, while having a great day out together.
Found after a short search.
Thanks purpledreamer (adopted by BettyBoo3747) for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

Finally - just a tad easier with no foliage but it’s still like being in a maze! ENROUTE to Melbs again with the proverbial distraction! TFTC
Found while out on a caching trip up through Benalla and Wangaratta, the Winton Wetlands and some tough caches on Mt. Buffalo
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Today we have headed out to find all of the Gourmet Run caches so that we could find the final so that we could collect the unloved. Some where easy to find, some we struggled with but we got there in the end. SL TFTC
Yummo
Cool - it’s great to see the local area through the eyes of a geocacher, it makes for an very interesting way to travel around Australia.
Seeing these interesting parts of a local area that shows the history, the memories of characters, and pioneers who lived and worked on the land.
An amazing part of the local history here.
We meandered over to GZ, found the cache, with signing duties done and dusted, we replaced the container as found.

The rest of the family headed off to Canberra for a couple of days (some of us have to work!) and the original plan for today was to travel down to Werribee to see a vagrant duck(!) but that was cancelled as it hasn't been seen since last weekend. So what better way to spend the day than to find a few caches. Headed out in the alternative geomobile which is bluer and lower than the usual one - the latter proved a challenge turning around at some of the caches found today! First plan was to get a find a few previous DNFs (and a few I hadn't logged) and then see where I ended up (had a vague plan to end up in Wangaratta but was all a bit weather dependent).
I got away a bit later than planned and the first few took a bit longer than I hoped (though I got all but one) so by the time I finished a few more in the HSS it was too hot to walk too far. So I then targeted a whole lot of park and grabs where in most cases I left the car running with the geohound safely ensconced in the air conditioning. Did end up in Wangaratta where I picked up a few long solved puzzles, but was not organised enough to pick up a couple I need for a few local challenges. In the end I got 38 caches (including 9 I had looked for previously) and 2 DNFs (1 I can not find, the second the sun was just too hot). Though judging on I was only one of a few people that was out and about - the car thermometer hit 38 as I drove back towards Albury.
Last of this series for today (will need to venture back and have some of the yummy food and wine). A quick find though managed to get poked accessing the cache.
Thanks for adopting this cache BettyBoo3747

Day 1 of 3 in the Beechworth Bright area for Trailstevo and I. 12 months ago we were here and had to get back for some unfinished business. We collected a few cache on the way up, all pretty much drivebys and then onto the Beechworth rail trail to continue on where we left off. Picked up around 30 on the trail and then stopped for a few solved puzzles in the area. The weather has been so bad here in the past day, but we were serious lucky to not get wet today. Luck to see an echidna and 4 tawny frogmouths sat on one branch. Has been a good outing today. Heading into Bright for dinner now. Thanks for the fun.
Gunks and Trailstevos 'Summer' adventure. Well at least the rain is warm. Trek to Bright and surrounds taking in some places along the way. Tackled some of the gourmet series next. TFTC
An overnight caching trip around Milawa area with dalerious and of course Rex [:X] where the 1st cache was found at 20:15 and the last cache of the 18 finds was found at 3:04 as we made our way back to Shepp [|)]
dalerious did a couple of tree climbs which he hated NOT! and that started off the night as we then did a few of the Gourmet Run caches [^] and anything else that we were near [^]
We also made a point fo finding the only Spirits of Salt series cache thatw e both had unfound as it had been missing at our last attempt [^]
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

On a whim, locus cache and I headed out late in the day to snag "a few" caches because....Why not? [^]
Well....One cache led to another
and before we knew it we had pulled another all nighter with 21 new smileys netted (only a few of which locus cache had already earned).
Oh boy did we get lucky here.
No it wasn't a quick find but once found we knew how easily we could have been stuck here till dawn. And some. [:o]
Very sneaky hide. [^]
Cache and log found in good, clean and dry condition. [8)]
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for adopting and maintaining this excellent series.

Another one for us to claim. Thanks for the cache log signed, and we are off to another cache
A 5.30am start today to get into Wangaratta by 6.00am. Muggle son from Melbourne participating in the Police Legacy bike ride, Wanga to Melbourne, and we wanted to wave him off, and take some photos. Driving with the group as far as Greta, we finally lost the bikes and started caching. We decided we would cache until our legs dropped off, or became so tired that we had to stop. Or eat.
Cammoed in the leaf litter. Great hide.
Thanks for maintaining these purple caches Betty Boo

A caching day whilst the kids are at school with the Wackyweedos and The Clazzas, exploring the Milawa, Oxley and Wangaratta area. The main aim was to pick up the Gourmet Run series with a few extras thrown in. A great variety of hides found.
This is the first in the series that we have found. A great series which I am glad you have kept going.

Quick find and was signing the log when a local(?) pulled up to check Mrs Stevo was ok parked on the side of the road... while MrsClazza & I hid behind the trees
Picked up on our way out of town to grab some trads along with some challenge caches. Lovely area - TFTC
Found with Kittykatch and Grimraider on a last caching run before heading back. Been a great weekend visiting the area and visiting some of the beautiful places around here. TFTC
Looked around all the trees came up with nothing after about 30mins all hope was lost shall try again another time
On a trip to Bright and for some reason we thought it was a quick grab it and run here. After 15 minutes searching we came to the realization that we had deluded ourselves and snuck off smiley-less. Even the hint didn't help. Thanks anyway.
On our way home after caching around the Wangaratta/Myrtleford area and on out list of caches was this one, which we found along the way.
Thanks for the cache placement and for bringing us here.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today with mcsee&petal. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

A 4 day trip from Adelaide to Everton, Beechworth and surrounds.
8 of South Australia's finest caching teams came across the border Freddo, Team Astro, The White Dog Gang, Four Fun, Unicycle, Southern Cross Caching, Shonkloic, and Team Waldron hit the bike trails and country back roads.
It wasn't nice the the mozzies were sent to defend the ceches against us but we persisted.
On the way home we visited Bendigo, St Arnaud and many towns in between.
Many thanks to all the cache owners who put out caches for us to find.
A great time was had and we left enough to make another trip worthwhile.

Great cache found during the "SAW STUFF" road, bicycle & walking trip to central Victoria with Shonky, Astro, Waldron, Southern XC, Uni & Freddo

Found on an awesome trip with the SAW STUFF boys (Shonky, Astro[me], Waldron, Southern Cross, Whitedog, Unicycle, Freddo & Four-Fun). The trip had it all including this awesome cache. There were pots and schooners (no pints) , mazzive mozzies the size of small elephants we hitched rides on , realistic lizards, real live [xx(] kangaroos that got to close and uphills. Then there were bikes and pumps. There was sweat and dust but no tears. My thanks to the group and the coordination that enabled an amazing fun filled few days that will go down in caching-lore. [^]
Thanks to BettyBoo3747 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Popeye's girl. We CAME. We CACHED. We SAW STUFF. Eight South Australian caching teams on the prowl in Lake Victoria. We were attacked by vampire mosquitoes. We were attacked by rogue magpies. We were attacked by brown snakes. We were attacked by running kangaroos. We were attacked by publicans and cooks. In the end we got the message and went home, but not before finding lots of hidden cachey things using billions of dollars of satellites and cheap hand-held devices.
One of many fun finds on along the way on the "SAW STUFF" road trip to central Victoria with Shonki, Astro, Waldron, Southern cross, Twdg, Uni & Freddo [^]

I was on leave so plans were made to head to the Beechworth area with My good Mate the Roostaman, The weather turned nasty over night and today was a rather wet day driving around between Myrtleford to Milawa. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.
Mrs Fergzter made the find here after a not so gracious entrance and exit from the GZ as I laughed ever so hard from the car while planning the next cache. All is well with the cache. Thanks for placing it for us to find.
Day 3 of the weekend around the Seymour area with fitzy_1965 and specimenX, and after completing the Mt Disappointment series and with time to spare, we headed home on a longer route.
After grabbing the Whroo series, we headed for one of our favourite areas - Beechworth - you know, just
to grab a few more. Turned out to be a good idea as we found a few that we had previously been DNF's, as well many many new ones. No problems with any of the finds and all caches were in good condition.
Thanks BB for yet another fun, if only for a couple or hours, caching run around the area.

Down from Canberra with fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune (signed as "FSS") to hit the Mt. Disappointment PT as well as a whole lot of other caches along the way! . Good weather, lots of laughs, a muddy Geo-Jeep and a massive haul of caches equals an epic weekend of caching all round!
Swung by this one on the way to Beechworth for more caching before home And a nice quick park and grab at this spot for us.
Thanks for the hide, BettyBoo3747

They sell THE most amazing olive oils here! We were almost caught by the owners, but explained to them that there are a few Pokemon on the roadside here. Had to wonder aimlessly staring at our phones back and forth for a few minutes until they were gone again, then a quick grab and sign as I had spotted it whilst waiting. The ants though! Eeeeeek! TFTC!
A wonderful trip to Wangaratta with becca85, neisha07 & GemmaSistema.
We had a great time searching for caches and exploring. TFTC!

I had so much fun on our little roadtrip!
Me, boo09, becca85 & GemmaSistema headed to Wangaratta for the night.
Day 1 was huge with 50 finds, lots of which were at night by torchlight- we even got bogged!
Day 2 we got rained out in the end but still had an enjoyable day.
Thanks for some great caches in great company!

School holidays are upon us which means Team Clarmensma (myself, GemmaSistema, boo09, neisha07 as well as Ad + Luke) is formed yet again as we target another area of beautiful country Victoria.
This time we decided on an over night road trip to Wangaratta. Meeting up in Violet Town, we headed straight to Wang and our motel where we dumped our belongings and headed straight off for an arvo of caching. Lots of great finds, a stop for lunch on the side of a lonely dirt road followed by some more caching until it got dark and we decided we should probably feed the children again.
A pub dinner and off we went again with torches and another layer of clothes each. A few stops in and we managed to get ourselves bogged but were promptly saved by some nice CFA gentlemen. The adventure never stops! Finally after a DNF and we were all soaking wet we decided to head back to the motel for a Milo. A great day out exploring a region I had never visited before. TFTC!

School holidays mean that myself and my two kids (ages 5 & 7) go caching with becca85 and her two kids (ages 6 & 8 - or boo09 and neisha07). We normally do a big day out around home (Ballarat way), but we are running out of spots. These holidays we decided to head north and stay a night and cache in and around Wangaratta. After dumping our stuff at the motel we headed out for an afternoon of fun around Oxley/Milawa way. An easy find here. Just a few more we thought!!!
Last morning in Milawa so I was out for another run before breakfast. This was the first cache of the day. It took a while for my eyes to warm up (as it was literally freezing and half dark) but eventually I found it. TFTC
I've been riding through here a bit lately with the cycling group from Wangaratta so haven't had a chance to stop for the caches.
Today I decided to call in on a couple on the way home from work.
Nice easy find, but got attacked by the ants.

Maintenance has been kindly performed by dghoffy. New log sheet in place so the red spanner can come off now. Thank you indeed as it has saved me a visit.
Heading back to Wangaratta, Mr Tardis made a quick stop here. Found in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Both sides of the logsheet are full.
