Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, staying at Korumburra for a few days.
After the storms of yesterday, we were hesitant to head out. Mr Felix finally decided about lunchtime he would make another attempt. Dropped off to be picked up again 3km later nearer to this one(to avoid the main road) Sooo windy today. Chatted to the muggles working on the new section of track so an informative afternoon. Unable to locate this cache but not really surprised as they have had bulldozers and who knows what tearing up the area making a new path and building the new bridge. Apparently works ongoing for the next 3months. Suggest this cache be disabled until it's safe to be back in this area.

A lonely cache that took us ages to find. Just as frmen1 says he's had enough I spot something that works with the hint and yes!!! it was there. Contents in good condition. Geoteen#2 took the blue frog and we replaced it with two die. TFTC

Myself and Tassie expat, along with geokid, had a few hours to kill and spent it on this great rail trail. Thanks for putting all of these down, we enjoyed the searches.
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Buffalo, Stony Creek and Leongatha using geocaching as our guide.
We found some angry birds and well cammoed caches amongst our finds and we would like to thank all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

This location also provided an ideal place for our lunch break
TNLN, thanks FlyingPigSquadron.

That's about 12km under our boots, just a couple of clicks back to the car now. Thanks for this cache which was still dry and in good condition.
Found with Gonefishen07 Thing No1 who was along for the ride here and my cuz. Trying to help gonefishen07 get closer to 2000. We had lots of fun doing these caches. TFTC
Found with Zobo04 and Tomo. On a mission to get my numbers up closer to 2000. Today was the day as I wanted my event to be my 2000 cache and I was fast running out of time. Not to many caches around home to do so off to Fish Creek to finish this lot off. A great day for a walk weather was nice and the kids behaved for a change. A lovely walk down here, a nice area wonder how long bridge has been closed for. TFTC
A fantastic day to be out caching. The weather was perfect and sunny and quite warm all day. I headed out with my two boys down the South Gippsland Highway and we got as far as Stony Creek before heading back for home later in the afternoon. Our first cache was found just out of Jeetho and we stopped for a picnic lunch at Koonwarra before making our way to Stony Creek then heading back up the South Gippy with a small detour through Lang Lang. It was dark by the time we got home and myself and the boys had a great time.
After finding a nearby cache a little further back up the track we continued along to arrive at GZ for this cache. The hint made sense once I'd found the cache, I hadn't noticed it when searching. A cool location and we enjoyed the walk too. Thanks.

It was a cold day for a walk, but well worth it to finally visit this old relic. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have this bridge replaced to continue this wonderful rail trail. The cache was in good condition and the log book dry. Thanks for bringing us here FlyingPigSquadron
Out and about at large with my caching buddy Slink1 on another legendary caching trip. Bikes deployed where needed, Walking when appropriate, drive by where possible. A big day of caching enjoyment was had by both of us, and a vote of thanks to the cache owners for the effort and placement of the
caches. A quick find here TNLN SL TFTC.

This another great part of the trail & a very interesting bridge. Some of the cut a fill that went into making the rail line here were extraordinary. TFTC
No idea what the clue meant I think the sun was getting to us, found the cache using co ords and a bit of a gook look. a lovely quiet space for a picnic in the future I think. Gave more than we took. TFTC
Took the bikes for a spin today. Luckily they were mountain bikes as the "forbidden" part of the rail trail past the detour sign is a fairly rough journey compared to the rest of it. Glad we did it though as it was a really peaceful place with the cool breeze and nearby croaking of frogs. Lots of highway noise too. La Mina was first to identify where the hint led us. After this journey we had to venture to the other end of the closed bridge via the rail trail from Meeniyan. TFTC.
Found it today with crigithis and our bikes. The hint was confusing at first but understood what it ment and eventully found it in the end. TFTC
A really beautiful spot. I do hope they eventually repair the trail and bridges so that more people can witness it, shame the bridge is so crumbly. Tnln tftc!
Finishing a job in meeinyan today and then going over to holiday house on the Island as I have a job over there in Monday so I decided to do some caching in area. Enjoyed the walk. Sl thanks FlyingPigSquadron for the cache.
this took a bit to do after driving back and ford worked out were to start and had a gr8 walk TFTC
I didn't get to this cache the last time I was here, in large part because of car problems. They were quickly resolved, and today, having read the cache page properly, I had brought a bike.
After an easy ride to GZ the GPS overshot but on coming back to a more logical spot the caceh was an easy find, thanks FlyingPigSquadron.

Quite enjoyed the walk to and from the structure. Rain had gone by now. Spotted a small furry mouse looking thing that wasn't a mouse but not sure what it was. Top little hidey hole this one has. Cache in top condition. Thanks FPS for bringing me to this section of railtrail.

Found by POLEHAMMER 30/7/11 Shannon once again was the one to find it. I really really wanna cross that bridge dammit!! TNLN TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1640. The shadows are lengthening quickly now, and the temperature is dropping. A brisk walk warmed us up. The wetlands are very wet, and the muddy band on the trees opposite shows that the water has recently been much higher. Our thanks to FlyingPigSquadron as always.

Rode from Leongatha to GZ. A bit rough the last bit. It would be wonderful if the trail was able to us the old bridges as the highway on the Koonwarra turns is very dangerous for bike riders. TN left cow. TFTC FlyingPigSquadron
Beaut walk into a place we recently rode our bikes, should have brought the kayak as it is quite wet out at the moment. Great hide, T Farm animals L Galaxy Slime TFTC
