Logs
As there has been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it has been a number of months since the last owner note I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.
This was our 3rd cache find in the caching run & we found it at 11:27
So this now makes our total find count 6826.
[blue]
We've been to Darwin before, but have never headed out this way. We spent a really enjoyable day on the Cox Peninsula today, and found a variety of caches.
After finding over 6826 caches, it is really sad to note that the trend of placing (or in this case, replacing) small caches without swaps is increasing, especially where a larger container could have been placed. While some small ones have their place, eclipse tins and 200ml Sistemas seem to be the norm these days, especially where a larger container could have been placed. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Original container has suffered badly from UV degradation and seems to have been replaced with an eclipse tin
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks WAGAIT BOY for the hunt today.

The Cache owner appears to have found one cache and hasn't been active since 2011.
Perhaps it would be better to archive this one and then let an active cacher place a decent cache replacement.

Was in the first place I looked, but did not look hard enough. As the previous people have said, needs maintenance.
# 3477. Having a lovely two week holiday in Darwin with Robmc - visiting friends, enjoying the warm weather and finding caches.
On the way to Mandorah for lunch and picking up some caches on the way there and on the way back. Stopped here and strolled along the track to the old turrets and thought we were going to walk away with a DNF until we read some previous logs. Rob then got to it and made a quick find. Certainly needs a little maintenance and TLC. TFTC

Drove out to Mandorah for lunch at the pub (and a DNF!) with Bettyboo3747 and some Territorian friends, collecting a few caches on the way.
After DNFing the Pub we came down to the beach side and had a look at the turret. Of course we checked out all the little alcoves before consulting the clue! We were buzzed but a gyro-copter as we were there.
A bit of scrambling around, and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks, Robmc.

Finding this one caused a few headaches, looked in all the obvious spots with no luck, read the clue and looked further afield and finally had a bingo moment and went climbing. By this stage we'd lost our pen and could sign the log. We took a photo instead and I'll upload it shortly. T4TC.
Found after reading recent logs. TFTC

Actually found by Buubleandsqueak at the same time, but I'm happy to take credit. Tftc
Didn't find it. Had a good look, tried to get some info off the logs. don't know if it is still there. Or i sucked at finding it.
Glad to see this wasn't hidden on the man made structure. Found the cache broken and empty as described in other logs here. Only thing we had on us was an eclipse tin to place one up there with a log sheet in it.

Last cache on my weekend WW2 geo trail. With a few extras 25 have been found and traveled over 500 km. One long weekend but I thank those that placed the caches in these history heavy areas.
Quick find, container stuck and broken and log will get wet next time it rains.

Did things today that I didn't even do as a kid - feels great! Container was broken so could get out the log book but not the container as it was stuck. We had nothing to repair it with so will need maintanence before the rains come.Great spot and lovely view. TFTC
Like Groboz I couldn't get the container out to sign it. Great hide but would up difficulty to at least 3 and terrain the same.It needs some maintenance.Interesting area. Great views I hadn't seen before.TFTC

couldnt find this one, but there was lots of long grass, maybe going by previous log it might have been taken over by termites.
Only had the coordinates to work with so spent 10 minutes looking for it (not knowing if it was big or a nano). I was about to give up when I decided to check out one more spot... yeah, found it. Unfortunately I couldn't get the cache out to sign the log as termites have well and truly encased it in mud cement. Only one side was left exposed and I was afraid I'd damage the container if I tried to pry it out. Clever spot and a bunker I didn't know existed.
this cache was well hidden and palced lovely spot TNLN SL also dropped off doctor kiwi trackable
This FTF was a challenge ... persistent geohusband mulched through soggy spear grass ... circumnavigated gun turret ... then finally yelled 'Found The Bustard!' then smiled happily T4TF
