No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Cache has been inactive since December 2015. Several DNFs. CO needs to replace or retire.

Had a real good hunt, couldn't find it, awesome park! Will have to come back again.

Might be worth checking. Popped in to visit the playground and had. A quick look, but. Couldn't. Find. Anything....not where I previously found it.

Was over this way today so thought we would pick up a few smilies Wish it wasn't raining so we could've played in this cute park. As it was, I was the only one of the crew to brave the rain, a quick circuit, got my hands on the goods, back to the car to write in the log then another quick dash to return. tftc.

Powerful find, many interesting locations today

This was one of nearly eighty Geocaches I found in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11, we signed the log HI1, an anachronism made up of the first initials of our Geocaching handles to save on log space. This was our second trip to the Bay of Plenty. A few weeks ago we conquered The Mount and Papamoa and were back today on another infamous mad mission. We left Hamilton at 4:30 am and I was back at home in time to read my two boys a story and tuck them into bed at 7:30pm. We had a fun day exploring the area and got to see lots of parts of the area we hadn’t experienced before. A big thanks to all the cache owners who took the time and effort to place so many high quality and well maintained hides. Thanks also to HKCB for organising the day and driving. I think it was fitting to undertake these trips during the ‘Geocaching Road trip’ Groundspeak promotion, as it typified all those things that make a good road trip, most importantly good company. There were plenty of laughs and some memorable shenanigans.

Seeing as it was still pretty early in the day muggles weren't an issue for us today. HKCB had the cache in hand in about 3 seconds which was an impressive effort. I don't mind admitting to trying out some of the interesting playground equipment before we headed off to the next cache.

Out and about trying to clear off another chunk of Tauranga geocaches. Again accompanied by HKCB and Iammrwalker, this seems to becoming a habit. Early start, head to Tauranga, cache the whole day, say we will be home early, end up being home later and then grovelling out of the dog box. This time we set off from Hamilton at 4.30am to try and get more caching done before we had to turn around. We seem to be enjoying this so much we are planning a return visit again soon. Signed our logs as "HI1" as an acronym of our respective caching names. A great, laugh filled day that was thoroughly enjoyed.

Some of us were instantly drawn to the great playground so after we made the find we had a quick play on the interesting playground. Great fun for the young and the young at heart.

Another all day mission with 11HPG11 and iammrwalk, this time focusing on the other side of Tauranga. I had just finished logging the all the caches we had found in Papamoa when I looked at the map and thought why not have a crack at the other side as well!

A early start as we were on the road at 4.30am as we needed to be back not to late otherwise we'd be in the dog box when we got back home. Another fantastic day out with lots of the usual laughter and this time the weather was much better behaved. In total over 80 finds, with only a couple of DNF's and we got back in time to stay out of the dog boxes, just!

We signed the log books with Hi1, an acronym of our caching handles. A big thanks to all the CO's for all the placements, and for taking us to places we hadn't been before.

We were wondering about the difficultly level on this hide as we headed to GZ, but once there the awesome playground looked like it had a fair amount of use which would make searching tricky. Joking said I'd find it in 2 seconds flat, haha I think I had it in about three. Some hides you put your hand right on it. Thanks for the good hide.

We looked all over the obvious clue and nothing came up, it hasn't been found for awhile, June was the last log so perhaps its been compromised

Cool idea for a cache!

There is little park left at this spot. I don't know why this one has such a high difficulty rating as it is such a standard cache in a standard location.
There are a lot of changes going on in this piece of Tauranga

Lucky the co-ords were so spot on for this one as the playground was full of kids and the police had also just rocked up - unsure why but it wasn't me! Let my fingers do the walking and quickly had the cache in hand with maximum stealth. Then I was outta there

Felt very conspicuous looking for this one with all those houses, but had already abandoned the first attempt with too many muggles in the park so took the chance. Found with Hapisnaps. TFTC

We came back for another attempt at this one today. A lovely sunny day with skylarks singing; we brought lunch with us to eat near GZ so we had a reason to be there, while we waited for some muggle-free moments! Surprisingly the playground was deserted, but several visitors arriving at a house across the road made us wonder if there was a special lunch event on today. We had to be patient, but when the coast was clear we made a thorough search and finally located this sneaky well-camoed cache. TFTC!

On our first attempt this afternoon we located GZ but there was an occupied car parked beside it. When we came back later, we had the place to ourselves but after several minutes searching we couldn't find the cache, and were conscious of being watched from nearby houses.

Amazing view this morning. Good quick find on way to work! Day 12 of the August challenge. Tftc

Our kids call this park 'the secret park' as there never seems to be anyone there when we visit. Quick find, longer play at the park.

felt like we were on Wisteria Lane, very posh neighbourhood, finally got to see where Bob Owens Resthome was on our way here, kids had a good play in the park, tftc

Just back from caching over at Ferguson Park, called in to this one after getting a coffee close by. Arabelle had this one before I could get out of the car. TFTC it would have been easy if Arabelle didn't beat me to the treasure.

We put the bikes on the back of the car and travelled out to Bethlehem to do five of the reserve caches. This was our fifth and last one and another great little find. The kids loved finding a new playground with a merry-go-round. TFTC. #79

Played on swings and roundabout with my 4 yr old, she carried on playing while I made the quick find, awesome distraction for her while I filled out log, tftc, great spot!

Park was full of kids playing so mine joined the fun while I made a quick grab.

Not too keen on these types of hides. Working in the High Voltage electricity industry have seen the consequences of faults on transformers and accidental access by children due to vandalised locks. Low probability but does happen. Best not to encourage kids to play around this type of gear. Just my opinion.

Arrived to find a dad and children playing. A little one had spun himself sick, so they departed soon after our arrival. In the meantime, we admired the views of the water and the Mount. The cache was a quick find. TFTC.

We have done some pre winter maintenance on our cache.
- Put new fresh log book in and plastic bag to protect it from the weather.
- Checked the cache and it holder is secured at the location ok.
- Made sure the area around the cache is in good condition with no rubbish and all the plants and structures are ok with no damage.
The cache is in good condition and ready for the hardy winter geocachers to find.

Took a little search around before i came up with this one. No one around after the rain which was good as its one of those places id rather not be found rummaging around in. TFTC!
