A quick find while walking back to the car after a nearby event.

I enjoy listening to all the Pink Floyd albums but Dark Side of the Moon is my favourite.

By the time that I started my serious geocaching career, two of this series' three puzzles had already been archived, but at least this final cache was still able to be solved/found. With some help by the CO, I was able to solve and then visit [GC2RBFX: A Day at the Races](https://coord.info/GLZQQ22J) on 5/09/2019, and I snapped a photo of this geocache's final clue. It then took some time, and a few nudges, before combining all clues and hints together into a set of coordinates, and finally discover the Dark Side of the Moon!

This Anzac Day weekend, jesswrigley and I were back in Adelaide whilst attending a wedding. We took the opportunity to catch up with family and friends introducing our newest member of *Team Warren*, and where we could, we visited a few geocaches that I had either missed during my residency, or new geocaches published in the last 1.5 years.

This morning, our main event was a wedding recovery BBQ in Kensington Gardens Reserve. We decided to make a stop in Adelaide CBD to claim Chinatown's virtual cache, before then needing to kill some time around Hazelwood Park / Burnside.
In the afternoon, I had some free time to find a few geocaches solo, so concentrated on geocaches requiring the fishing TOTT around the Adelaide park lands. I started out on the western side, before travelling around and stopping off around Bowden-Brompton, and then heading through the city towards the southern park lands.

I hadn't planned on finding this geocache today, but it was one that I happened to be driving close to, and having completed the legwork and solving, I thought it would be nice to make the last conversion with a find. A cute area, and I seem to recall having breakfast with jesswrigley nearby here, several years ago, and a few memories came flooding back (just as listening to old songs from classic albums does, no doubt). I soon observed a nicely themed clue with this puzzle, and so I went to work in starting to search. I thought there were a few good hiding spots that didn't have anything, and then I managed to find the cache in a more exposed spot (but obviously not exposed enough to be seen by service muggles). The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks *Cache_or_Check* for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Having found the three forerunner caches, this one had always proved elusive. Especially so as I've been to GZ several times previously, concentrating my search in a spot that proved incorrect on one occasion, and having to evade nearby onlookers on others. Today I arrived at an early hour with no-one else around, and spotted a vital clue. Great to finally cross this series off the list and to discard snippets of paper with strange notations that have loitered amongst my cache notes for years. Thanks for the puzzle Cache_or_Check!

Another caching day out north was organised with the JAMMS team (JJ52, allister w, mogni, Michells&hound, sir_spectre) and gridge98 who joined us after the breakfast event in the city. [^]
After an early start from way down south we headed to a few inner west caches before heading to the event and a very yummy breakfast which fueled me for our adventures. After breakfast we continued on with a list of solved puzzles and a few others that were needed by one or another of us for various challenges we were working towards and ended up finding most caches on our list, along with a few that we added as we went past. Big Grin
Some of the puzzles I had solved, but a few of them were way beyond me so I was thankful that they had been solved by others. Red Face
The weather was great, we found lots of caches and had a really fun day driving around and enjoying each other's company. Cool
A quick find by Allister in the logical spot. Big Grin This album is one of my all time favourites. Cool
Thanks for the cache *Cache_or_Check* Smile

Clearing up a dnf from gridge98.
Found with JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, Michells&hound logging under the team name of " JAMS ". We found half a dozen caches before the "Italian Dreams" Meet-in breakfast event and there we were joined by gridge98 for the rest of the day. Today we were targeting certain cache types for some member's of the group for a SFE challenge cache or two, as well as clearing the next section of puzzle caches out. Alot of the puzzle caches visited today have been stamped before my one or more of the party with the most finds had by one person being 46 and least 17 but that was balanced by the tree climbs, structure climbs and a tour of the storm water system. It was a casual paced day with a stop for lunch and nice weather all day.

13-Sep-20
Out and about with sir_spectre, JJ52, allister w, gridge98 and michells&hound grabbing a huge range of puzzles and multies with a couple of other randoms thrown in too. Some of these I have had solved for a while others I hadn't looked at but as a team we conquered them all.

I came to this one last year twice and had no luck in finding it, back today and after searching in the all the cracks I was ready to give up when AllistarW came over and found it within 10 seconds

Today started off with a puzzle find with Davidwazza before heading to an Italian breakfast event in the city. After that I joined in for a caching day around prospect with the JAMMS (JJ52, AllistarW, Mogni, Michell&Hound and Sir Spectre) Crew finding mostly solved puzzles in the area. A great day out with 29 finds for the day.

Thanks for the cache

Found finally!

I recall when this series was published back in 2011. I found the first two fairly quickly and eventually solved the third (after a couple of visits), but never got around to finding it before it was archived.

About a year ago I came across the clues I had collected from the first two and was very thankful to find that the CO had published the clue I was missing from the third with his archive log. All I had to do was then solve the final and find it before it too disappeared.

It has taken me three visits over quite a period of time to find GZ suitably 'muggle-free'. But today I managed it and, after a short search I soon had my name in the book.

Thanks *Cache_or_Check* for the puzzle and a cache that has been a long time coming!

On a high after watching the Adelaide 36ers even the grand final series at 1 game each I thought I would take the long way home and grab a few caches. Cool
Another classic puzzle and cache. Hey what is this within 65 metres - I was only one digit out on each. Pretty damn good me thinks. [B)] Parking upon the road I walked towards GZ and the moon came into sight. Yep it was dark. Surprised Actually it wasn't but the surrounding sky was. With nobody about and businesses closed it was a quick retrieve and sign. Smile I think this will be the first mint tin that gets a fav point from me. [:o)] When you do this cache you will know why!

**Thanks *Cache_or_Check* for this cache. ** Big Grin

Out with the Rat for another night run clearing up some more of our unfound caches around busy daytime streets it was quiet when we arrived at GZ however shortly after we started the search a nearby owner turned up. why do they do that? he did not seem to be overly concerned with our activity so a stealthy search continued and a cache was found. another C o C cache off the list of to find's. Thanks for another Sef which should complete the series for the Adders.

12th tick on the checker but the 19th log... mmmmm
Collected most of the info years ago, and then the 3rd set of info required appeared when that cache was archived. Good for us, bad for the CO!
Anyways, lost some of the info so had to re-collect it, but still didn't know what to do with it entirely. A little nudge had me over the line awhile back.
So out today and we stopped for this cache dedicated to her most favorite band. Awesome.
Surprised to find it so close to a nearby, newer, physical WP too.
A quick find and sign in an apt spot.
At least the hide didn't send us to the lunatic asylum!

We are in South Australia for a one week holiday at the Lady Bay Resort at the golf club near Normanville. Our final day - pack up and head back to Adelaide before our evening flight back to Brisbane. We signed the log book for thirteen caches and completed two web cam caches

We were out caching with locus cache when we decided to find this one.
Locus cache had a set of cords so we set off, and arrived at GZ, Hmm that looks like a likely spot says Mrs RoddyC. Sure enough she soon found it.

Now we have started gathering the clues to solve this puzzle. Won't that be fun!

Log signed & replaced again. Found at 3.30pm on 1st December 2016. TFTC

Found our last cache at 1:21am Smile [)]
It's a good night with 5 Smile finds and 0 DNFs Cool

Our last find of the night and the extra touch on the container made me smile Smile Seems like this isn't the Dark Side of the Moon but the light side Wink
Had a lot of help with this puzzle, maybe because I'm not sure if I have ever listened to this entire album Red Face

Mr Tardis managed to get two of the clues from the first three, and scored an easy third clue due to archiving.

Today I picked the right time of day - last time I was here there were muggles sitting metres from GZ.

You've got to love a GZ that you can spot from the car. I found the cache in the first place I looked - without the GPSr. More proof that Mr Tardis does not need glasses.

Nice series and great final location.

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache *Cache_or_Check*.

Janet and I had the information from three of the four caches that we needed to attempt to solve this. And then when the fourth one was archived while it was still on our to do list, the CO provided the missing pieces of data.
So we had all the bits of information.
But what did it all mean?
A bit of research on the interwebs led us to some information from a page with data which did not quite match the CO's but which seemed pretty close and which gave us some answers.
9 out of 10 answers
The tenth was a struggle.
A request to the CO resulted in one of his trademark hints which tend to be crystal clear in retrospect after you have worked things out Wink
I had numbers but they did not seem to be the right numbers. Another message to the CO asking a question got another question for an answer.
But a question that made me think in a different way and eventually I felt I had the start of a syzygy.
The last number became clearer after the alignment had already begun. A bit of reverse engineering. and then all I had left was to add and subtract something. But what? I sought some numbers on the interwebs and got varying information.
I had been working on this mainly from the app on my phone and it was only after I sat down at the computer and took a good look that it became clear exactly what I needed to do.
And as GZ was not that far from home I quickly nipped out after dinner and signed the log. Nice hide and I echo Freddo's comment about the nearby establishment!
From reading the logbook this cache has multiple unloved periods. After a brief flurry in 2011, there were two visits in early 2012, one in 2013, one in 2014 and no other signatures I could find since then until our visit today. The last three consecutive finders have found it as an unloved cache. In retrospect maybe I should have waited 9 more days to log it to let yet another unfound year pass.
A pity as it is a clever puzzle and a great little hide.

Out with the Froghoppins makes for a fun caching experience Smile

Many a late night in this cat's youth involved Floyd music!
Oh, those were the days.
All in all it's just another cache in the wall.

Driving in the area and saw GZ and thought... now that would be a good spot for a cache.... of this name. Whoops, we were right. Not the first time we've managed to do that!
No muggles about. Mrs Wibble is more of an Atom Heart Mother sort of person. She's weird like that.

With the sad demise of GC2QR88 - Classic Albums I: Magical Mystery Tour-The Beatles
http://coord.info/GC2QR88 I am posting the hints towards this cache here as a note.
The numbers you would have collected are: B= .43959, F=1 and I=1

It has been 14 months since the last find. Who will be the next visitor of the dark side?

28-Mar-12
A perfect evening to find this cache, with a crescent moon starting to set.
Found the clues many moons ago, but I kept heading down dark paths.
Finally after leaving it to grow in by puzzle tray and new idea grew and a site found.
Before long I had some coordinates but then there were a few options for Time and Eclipse. Finally spotted the one to use and the checker said "Yes".
At GZ tonight, the muggles were not standing next to GZ, so I was able to do the forlorn look and soon had a cache in hand.
For some reason I started humming "Us, us, us, us, us, us and Them, them, them, them" - it strangely seemed appropriate, being a cacher amongst so many nearby muggles.

Driving nearby, listening to some great music on ProjectEternity, only to discover that GZ was humming with muggles.
I decided not to out wait them, as they looked to be in no hurry to move along.

One of my favourite albums that struck a long and resonant chord with me during my impressionable youth. A very appropriate album to end this series of album caches. The puzzle made perfect sense and teh fianl hide was just so appropraite too.
Look forward to finding the rest of the song series next.

I love this album cover- a classic that I often used as an intro to the Astro classes in the old days. Not to mention the music - classic classics. Still classic none the less. I loved the twist to the puzzle that was not that obvious right till the end. I didn't need to eat a Mars bar to get the Astro brain into gear but maybe it would have helped. Clear skies.
PS - did the Astro brain result in the loss of Astro Hair. I'll take advice on that. Classic.

I too had these spherical notations. Problem is what to do with them. If you squint they look like records. I had some ideas, clever and otherwise, and one of these ideas went ballistic when I found a very pretty interweb site. That takes care of the spherical notations. Well mostly. I suspected that one of the objects was an artificial object. That next stage took a while. Of course I overlooked the most simple interpretation for ages. Consequently it took some guessing to get the congratulations answer. Using some bad info from the double u double u double u it turns out my first attempt was 1.5m outside of the bomb zone. Problem was my next 10 guesses were going the wrong way. So close. That will teach me for not studying the cache notes more carefully.
Those in the know have known about a nearby follicle manipulation establishment for some time and have considered the name of the establishment to be the perfect oxymoron. A quick stop between jobs today and the cache was mine. Silver to the frog nation.
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day. Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way. My favourite song from this all time favourite album.

Finally, I have 10 sets of strange spherical notations. But what do they mean? My first guess turned out to be right, but there was some ambiguity that kept me guessing until I found the right reference material. Then I just had to add Time and subtract Eclipse, although at GZ, I lost Time and gained an Eclipse. I lost time on my first visit due to the patrons who were patronising the nearby establishment, and sitting near GZ. They looked like they'd settled in for a long patronisation. I could probably have mooned them, but they looked like they'd just laugh and continue patronising, rather than move on. So I gave up.

My second attempt was by moonlight - apparently the moon isn't actually full until tomorrow, but it looked pretty close to full. At least I knew exactly where I should look, and finally my journey to the dark side was complete. Nice decoration on the container, I think Astro will like that one Smile.

Adding a favourite point for the series!

TNLN - Thanks Cache or Check!
